This voice lines are so emotional... still bringing me chills. Its insane. I think Sirius is a much more complex character than meets the eye. The whole story with the Elder Slayers is amazing.
Sirus really has the Senator Armstrong effect, aside from some lore journals he really doesn't show up until the very end, and yet he the best character in the game for a lot of people.

I only wish they developed him more as a character. He sure did become my favorite NPC right after the first time I faced him
@@SwordcamLARP If you've ever played Diablo (the original Diablo, and hopefully Diablo 2) Aidan (the prince) tries to protect the world by housing Diablo's Soulstone in his own body. He suffers for many years, gradually losing himself, and eventually becomes Diablo again in Diablo 2. Blizzard North also worked on Path of Exile (as far as I know) and this reminds me of this story a bit.

Fun fact: dislikes are counted as 'video activity' and only serve to push the video higher on the youtube logarithm. That's why so many youtubers say at the end of their videos "hit like if you like, hit dislike if you don't like" - they don't care if you dislike. Obviously a like is better, but a dislike can be a good thing for the video & channel popularity.

As a novice who actually tried poe only in Scourge league, I simply loved Orion and this remix. Super glad I reached Sirus, even though I failed to defeat him. Makes me all the more determined to jump into the next league tommorow to start anew and get revenge.

Stopped playing Path of Exile around 2 years ago but coming back to this Song from time to time. Still love it ♡

I've always been a scrubby PoE player; I would never do any content besides maps. Played HC, died, rerolled, repeat. Listening to this was one of the inspirations to actually push for endgame content and yesterday Awakener down on SC private league with friends for now. Next league will be HC :)

@@aTension well i have around 700 hours in POE but this was my first time trying any endgame bosses. Tying is not the best word. Its more like reaching a decent gear :D

i love the first part of this piece, it build so much excitement, what with sirus shittalking you and all that, the latter few minutes kinda fall off tho, it sounds like its just the base line and the orion theme put together and their vastly different timing really comes through at that point because not much more happens, then again the first few minutes did set a high bar in terms of excitement :)

Sirus is by far my favourite character in all of poe, Id love to have access to deeper lore, hes a tragic character and cant not feel sorry for what happened to him. Thanks for this remix !

I faced Sirus once again yesterday night, after a long time. Awesome fight, awesome boss, and this song just captures the feel of Sirus and turns it into a song.

@@inwector I remmeber the first time I faught him way long ago it made me mad and I just didnt do him for the rest of that league , I now actually only play poe to grind conquarers and fight sirus again , it just invokes such pure reaction and nature while fighting this God of an enemy. its an amazing fight (though sometimes a bit glitchy).
still come back to this one after all these years you captured how badass Sirus is and blended it perfectly with the music

I kinda wish some parts of the original music stood out more such as during 2:02 as the main remix is kinda loud/overpowering while the original music in the background felt a little soft/not stand out

I think I've heard this song countless times, so much so that I only noticed now, I even forgot to like it! Amazing remix, your choice of lines ended up pretty well. Many people hate this battle for a number of reasons but I think it having its random (buggy) impossible moments is befitting of a character such as Sirus and you portrayed him very well. Impressive work my friend :)

Whilst it might not be the best designed boss fight, I absolutely loves sirus' lore and voicelines

His lore is interesting.
If I recall right, he was traveling the Atlas with Zana in search for the Elder, and his fight with him left Sirius numb of emotions which made him desperate. Desperate for excitement he could never find. Soon, this numbness began to consume him, turning him more mad and desperate than ever, which also caused him to turn into ruins everything he swore to protect just to cure his numbness, ineffectively. Zana tried to stop him, but in the end Sirius found a way out, opposite to other conquerors, and fueled by madness he brought ruin to the world outside Atlas, just to realise it was still not what he expected till Exile faced him. The true challenge and thrill of the approaching death was what he was seeking, which can be confirmed by his last words "At least I felt something" right before dying. And damn, Zana weeping in the middle of ruined, consumed by storm city with no music but sounds of crumbling city was really something.
Correct me if I've made a mistake somewhere in his lore.

by the way, i'd like to throw a constructive opinion:
the use of Sirius quotes was on-spot but.....
sometimes the drop felt very underwhelming given the quote used before it, a good example would be (1:18) where you built-up for what it sounded like the main drop but instead we got a secondary building stage, i am not saying it's bad but it kills the hype for the next stage.
