I’ve been using a Remington 700 in 30-06 passed down from my dad, after decades of use it still operates perfectly, still my fav rifle. Rugged and durable
You better hang onto it because Remington doesn’t make them like that anymore.
It took me a while to figure out how to get a mag conversion for Rem 700 receiver. Only Magpul makes plastic kit, and I had to do some grinding of my custom wood stock. It is almost complete. I did not test it yet.
I have a few of them... I guess the one chambered .17 Remington Coyote Crusher Mach 5 is my favorite one...
Back when they made them right and to last. Have a few Rugers and Remingtons from 70’s. Still best guns I have.
I own two Tikka T3s; one in .30-06 and a second one in 9.3x62. Both are extremely accurate. Smooth actions and great triggers.
I know, you are the american market etc etc etc, but you know that germany f.e. has some real genius guncompanys and every of them brings more to the table then what you showed. Just to mention a few: Blaser, Mauser, Sauer, Heym, Steyr (Austria).
Maybe you havnt heared of them but they are on another level.
True, this video just randomly shows first some type of rifles not used for hunting in Europe, and then a few entry level bolt action guns. From America the Weatherby Mark V should be mentioned? I would however add Sako from Finland to your list but I hold Blaser R8 as the no.1 hunting rifle available.
Tikka makes such an amazing rifle
No one ever mentions Sako anymore what’s the go with that everyone I’ve ever had has been awesome cheers Yogi Australia 🇦🇺🤙🤙
Sako demand perfection!!!!!!!
Chris Polovich I love them mate my 85 in 7mm08 is my favourite cheers Yogi 🤙🤙
Too expensive brother…you can get a tikka half price and not really sacrifice anything.
B Huff true mate same barrel I just like them that’s all cheers Yogi 🤙🤙
@@chrispolovich3071 tikka outperforms sake
That first dude is really good at covering everything about the gun. And kept good pace 👍
got the xpr a few years ago pretty much because i was curious/skeptical about their accuracy claims...i was going for the tikka wich my buddy got on same day and was blown away on how accurate that xpr was. i was consistently more accurate than my buddy with his tikka. first 3 shot group were all touching so about half inch and kept it under an inch after that also
The XPR's polymer mag seems to be the exact same crap, as the tikka T3 had
@@gaborf7991 agree, they feel cheap
My Ruger m77 mk2 all weather stainless in 30/06 suits me just fine
Ruger M77 MKII are beautiful
What about an older Sako 280? I just inherited one has a really nice Leopold scope on it. It was a raffle grand prize combo.
That’s a great rifle in a great older caliber. I took 3 deer last season with my model 70 .280
@@adamelam6385 I'm so excited to try it out this year. I wasn't going to use it but I can't not use it.
@@hellcatchuck2723 I can’t say enough good things about the .280 and the fact that it’s a Sako makes it even better. The Finns make some of the best rifles in the world.
what bullet has the highest velocity leaving a hunter rifle barrel?
Ambidextrious?? Got to get one of those just to find out what it is.😁😁👍
What is comfort tech?
Sauer 100 is one of the best hunting rifles you can buy
I am genuinely amazed that this channel doesnt have more subs. Your guys work is far more professional than the work I do.
That's because they didn't do anything but edit together promos from manufactures. If you can do that, then you too can plagiarize your way to a few thousand subs.
@@chrisferguson1911 Huh
Suddenly Im proud of the work I do. Its not the best, not always the most accurate
But its original. And honest. And I love doing it.
Are you blind?
For the price. Ruger American Predator...Great entry level rifle. My first .308
How about pre 64 model 70 or 300 savage or model 700
Its says best rifle 2021 not 1960
Browning BAR?
Not a credible list without the Model 70
Or the sako 85 carbon light, the fierce edge, Christiansen ridgeline, weatherby back country ti, bergara mountain 2.0… I could go on.. but all those guns I just mentioned are better than any of the rifles in this video.. the tikka and the browning are ok but the rest 🤮
Maybe Winchester didn't have a promo this channel could steal to pawn off as its it's own.
Leaving out the iconic M70 kills any credibility this list attempted to get
My model 70 is a late 70's 300 win mag.
Great shooter but for me when i do hunt, my primary goto rifle is a stainless weatherby mark v in 30-06. I've been caught in rain, i just oil scope mount screws so they dont rust.
The Tikka is the only hunting rifle in the bunch
I agree the only rifle on this list id even consider is the tikka.. they didn’t even mention any of the actual top rifles like the fierce edge, weatherby back country ti, Christiansen ridgeline, sako 85 carbon… I could go on
where is the anschutz 1782 fantastic hunting rifle and extremely accurate
I'll stick with my CVA cascade
Bergara Wilderness?
Top rifles? Based on price, quality, performance and durability? I notice the SIG guy didn't mention the cycling problems or accidental discharges whilst bragging about the Cross. The rifle gets RECALLED because it goes off when you open the bolt, and it makes a top 7 list. Watch some of the reviews where shooters have to pound on the bolt to close the action, and tell me again about SIG's quality product. I suspect the size of the check has more to do with the rating than the merits of the rifles.
Winchester xpr ....joining the race to the bottom
Has the quality been going down . I got one about 18 months ago that was super accurate . Bit heavy but great shooter
@@rodneyhickman825 - Injection molded stock , plastic "bottom metal " , plastic detachable box magazine , push feed action - assembled as cheaply as possible .
What happened to walnut ? Controlled feed ? Mauser style magazine box ?
I'm not opposed to plastics . I've carried Glocks for 20 years and shot AR type rifles for 35 . Every mfg is putting out the cheapest , ugliest bolt rifles I can imagine . Winchester used to mean M70 .
Hard to tell if the Sig cross is special since nobody can get it. End don’t even mention the 277 fury since the ammo isn’t even available.
All review I have seen is that the cross is nothing special. The rifle has been plagued by issues prompting a recall from Sig. depending on ammo you may or may not have a 1 MOA rifle. In today’s modern firearms, there is no excuse for any of this, especially at $1600.
Christiansen arms didn’t make the list??
Is there any company not shilling for 6.5? I am not saying it's bad, you can't find any ammo for it.
This list lost all credibility when the Sig Cross was #1. Way overpriced chasis pos. They need to stick with pistols.
I guarantee you never even fired a cross. Please stfu it’s an incredible hunting rifle.
@@Beyrouth_ Who tf uses a AR styled rifle to hunt? 😂
@@phonymex3340 it does the job. Especially on long hunts where I barely feel it’s weight.
I didn't see anything at all that I am interested in and I have been a hunter of big game for over 50 years.
have you tried the Weatherby Vanguard or Weatherby Mark V in 270 or 300 wby mag? personal the best rifles i ever used for any game really.
Howa 1500 deserves an honorable mention.
Yes it does.
Seems like we're a minority, but that's fine with me. My Howa 1500s
are extremely accurate, to the point of a single jagged hole everytime I do my part right. I am a believer that they're exactly the same as the Weatherby Vanguards except for the shroud on the bolt and the stamping on the barrel. Both of these rifles are the best buy for the money in my opinion, and they're both built by the Howa plant in Japan.
I have three different Tikkas, calibers etc. Don't need anything else. Second to none.
the sig cross?
Savage has always been a great rifle for the money. Most pass by on savage but thats a mistake. Iam old enough to no.
NO BALONEY I KNOW IT. SAVAGE THE INNOVATORS OF THE INDUSTRY LUV EM!!
Yes Savage makes a great Rifle
Top 7? Must be that new math. LOL
No thank you, I'll stick with my 1903 a3. The 30/06 has taken more game than any other calibers then you suggested in the United States.
Pre 64 model 70 in 30-06 does everything I need it to do. There’s no need for an AR hunting rifle.
Oh Stephanie lol, not a single rifle shown remotely looks, functions or designed after the AR platform.
I disagree. When a group of hogs come though I very much like having my AR-10 to take care of several at once. And they don't go to waste either give away the meat that I don't use myself.
@@smalliesnacher I’m not a steady enough shot to focus on more than one hog at a time. But we have a group of at least four hunters trained on a feeder at any time. And generally when one calls something a “hunting” rifle- it isn’t a rifle that’s just been adapted from warfare with high capacity mags etc etc. that I’m after. But, to each their own.
Unless you are being attacked by a large pack of wolves.
The fact that Christensen Arms isn't on there completely invalidates this list instantaneously.
Where Blaser R8?
Blaser r8 the best
How about the merkel helix I think those are pretty neat
@@danietkissenle Not bad
The R8 are good but bloody pricey cheers Yogi Australia 🇦🇺🤙🤙
Blaser r8 with 300win mag...best gun for me,this "guns" are just for kids 😅 (exept tikka)
Not once did this video prove why any of these are the best hunting rifles. I can visit these companies advertising pages myself.
Never heard of number one…
Its gotten many bad reviews....very so so in the accuracy dept....also many feeding issues...and magazine fitment.
AR style hunting guns aren't the best anyway.
No Benelli Lupo???
This video is so off the mark , made by non hunters ! You can tell
This video is a collection of advertising videos from Rifle makers.
The comments lol !! AR style? Please give an example of even one bolt action AR manufacturer. None have uppers and lowers that break down like an AR. None are GI actions etc etc etc. I don't like the Sig myself but know enough it's nothing like an AR.
Uintah precision
It seems hunting has become nothing but war and sniper practice.
For you shooter nuevo types check out these latest cool offerings….Winchester model 94 in .30-30. Savage model 99 in .300 Savage & finally for you tacti cool types; Winchester Model 70 in 270, .30 06 or .300 Win mag. All pre 64 if you can find them.
The current Model 70's are the best ever and I've owned all vintages of them except pre-war. Will take the current Portugal made Model 70's any day.
Where’s the ammo ? 100 rounds of ammo at regular price for any new rifle you buy. That should be the deal. May Remington, Ruger, Winchester etc., will do that . Just an idea. Like buying a new car with two tanks of free gas.
These are ONLY 6 rifles, NOT 7
I'll trade a chicken a piece for each rifle 🤪
The Browning doesnt have the best factory barrel. If u went to the Remington custom shop and get a 40x will out shoot any Browning. The sako factory or trg 42 will also out shoot that Browning. New bee impressed with browning
Yeah but you just openly said this stock rifle is nothing compared to this other CUSTOM job.
That's an improper comparison.
I have a bog standard Howa 1500 Varmint in 308W that has 8K rounds on the barrel and will still put ten shots under a quarter at 100 yards. When that browning can do that, they can tell me they have the best factory barrels.
@@rdsii64 I have a Browning 81 custom in .308 win with a sweet little Leupold on there and it can readily achieve that standard. That being said, I don't know anything about the X-bolt series. Definitely not my can of corn. But not all Browning factory jobs are A- on accuracy out of the box. Just my opinion anyway.
If someone is out to shoot quarter inch groups at 6 miles..... he's not hunting, he's target shooting. That's okay but be honest. Stalking, tracking, exploring habitat, bedding, breeding, movement, researching specific game= hunting.
Fx
im not in love with ar style hunting rifles
Did you even watch the video ? No AR style rifles were shown, please give an example that warrants your comment.
the sig is a ar style even thou its a bolt
@@johnfila6480 not even in the slightest an AR style rifle. It's a Precision Match stock, more of a Sniper stock if that helps. Hearing the Sig uses AR tools to break it down and swap barrels probably gave you the impression It's AR style. Couldn't be further from an AR than a AK is an AR. That's a Precision Match stock, two words you'll never see in the AR world.
Wannabe SEAL snipers that want to actually something die. Not really hunting rifles or hunters.
Wannabe SEAL snipers that want to actually something die. Not really hunting rifles or hunters.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Biased . Where is Sako 85 ? As for benelli that thing is inaccurate same as a submachine gun 😂😂
The guns are all nice, but the presentations are not unbiased opinions but rather paid infomercials.
Bro we need weapons to hunt some animals not humans xd i cant afford them its look lile a weapon from call of duty
There are way better Hund on the marked in germany 🤣🤣
Sauer 404 ????? Steyr???? Blaser???? Merkel???
Sorry, but there is nothing special or high quality aspect in these guns. They are just cheap. The Sig is a slight exception with some nice details.
You won't find BEST GUNS in US mass production!
No sound, can't watch.
Suppressors don’t belong on a firearm when you are hunting. Period.
Too much plastic for me, and the idea of carrying an A.R. through brush is almost laughable.
Did you watch the video ? No AR rifles were shown here. Some real pos guns sure but definitely no AR action, build etc. These were all bolt guns with one Precision Match orientation being the Sig, still laughable.
Sorry; I meant to say “A.R. style rifle” in reference to the chassis stocks. I cannot imagine carrying such a beastly thing through the brush.
@@jeffreykurtz4005 the Precision Rifle stocks yeah, not my flavor either.
@@jeffreykurtz4005 "attached bipod for long range shooting blah blah" ...so no actual stalking, tracking and hunting.
Terrible deer hunting rifles
This list is a fucking joke!
