Momobanger was a performance we waited a long time for. They normally perform this special version of Headbanger on their 15th and 20th birthdays (Su's was on her 16th), but Momo was not officially added to the group until almost a month after her 20th birthday. AND They actually waited until the last day of her 20th year to do it! During that time, I would often comment on BABYMETAL's IG posts/reels and their RUclips videos/shorts to remind them they HAVE to let her do Momobanger! LOL! What's interesting is that in an interview, Momo said she was glad that they did it later in her 20th year because while they were on a world tour that year she was able to practice and perfect her growls/screams, so she was able to do Momobanger with confidence.🤘🦊🤘
Excellent reaction! That's a PROPER reaction to Momo's screams! I love it when reactors or other people feel what us long time fans feel, and love them they way we love them. EVERY emotion that you felt here is exactly what many of us felt too! For me, I feel like a proud uncle watching his favorite nieces be awesome on stage! I am a member of a small but international buddy group and we had a good dinner in an excellent Japanese restaurant the day before the two-day "Legend-MM show" to celebrate it. (MM stands for MoMoko, of course) *** The same comment on your previous reaction to the compilation video *** Juxtaposition of growl and overly cutesy (intentionally anime-like) voice by Momometal. New ammunition of BABYMETAL. Momoko cannon loaded with sheer dark explosives and a warhead made of shiny and bubbly metal. I witnessed this performance and got crushed into pieces, smilingly of course, at the venue and was also honored to have a chance to celebrate Momoko's last day of her 20 years of age. **************************************************************** ps. Momoko's 21th birthday was celebrated in a different way on the following day, March 3.
There's so much to love about Momobanger. The grand entrance, the crowd interaction, especially at the "KIEROU!", her copying Su-metal by going super serious, the growls, the cutesy singing, Su smiling at her as she hands her the mic, etc... One of the bigger differences is how she holds the mic and the stand. Su and Moa hold it with two hands high in the air, she does it with one. Momo-metal is clearly the Angel of Joy. She made a version of Headbanger that is distinctly her own. Great reaction Abi. Don't worry about the "talking over the music" part. Most of the time you aren't talking at length, but rather having a genuine reactionary moment to what you're seeing and hearing. As for the compilation, it served its purpose for the time it came out. It's only "bad" when compared to the actual version. Wouldn't mind seeing you react to some Hanabie (pronounced "Ha" "nah" "bee" "eh"), a Kawaii metalcore (with a generous helping of EDM in there on some songs) group.
That was SOFA king AWESOME !!! And so was the video of MomoMetal doing what she does best. I knew you'd totally enjoy this one after seeing and hearing your disappointment on the last one (compilation) as I'm sure we all felt the exact same way and had that same thought ..."WTF?? This isn't quite what I wanted" I think of all the videos of Babymetal I've seen, this was my most bestest, favouritest, epicest, the most emotionalistic one I've seen yet. (Yes ...pretty sure those are real words) The passing of the torch, the initiation, the seal stamped with gold and silver and turquoise and emeralds and ....all those other colours on their goddess warrior regalia that makes it all final that...MomoMetal has her place in the universe and we got to witness every bit of it. Feeling like life is complete now 😆 Don't apologize for having to break for your reactions to keep the videos up. I'm sure I speak for so many that we're here to see if others have the same reactions as we do. Especially you because you have this....undeniable bubbly, fun, no holds barred, legit, unadulterated emotional reaction that we love seeing and has us smiling with you. Abimetal, I think you should consider reacting to BABYMETAL's FIRST single's music video, "Doki Doki☆Morning (OFFICIAL)". The single turns 14 years old this year and the music video was released the following year in 2011. The girls were 12-13 years old when they made the video which means that BABYMETAL has been melting faces and making people headbang for HALF of their lives! There is actually a youtube video of the live debut performance of the song from 2010 on a small stage in front of about 100-150 people as well as footage of them recording the song and practicing their choreography, BUT I think the official music video is better to watch! 🤘🦊🤘

All great! When you rewatch, the "matrix" part lyrics say with head tilted back ( or something, you can check the captions). Also the changed the lyrics from 15 years old to 20 (Hatachi= 20 year old) for Momo's 20th b-day. (They did that for Moa and I think also Yui).
That feeling your feeling right now, I think is pride for Momo. You reached that point like most of us where we're so proud of these girls that we get emotional when we see them nail it and we see them get to shine. Knowing that these ladies went from girls to ladies and controls an entire crowd already as young ladies tends to get a lot of people emotional. That all being said, please also do Moabanger. I think you'll love that one too. Seeing Moa's little smirk in the song is very much soul-touching. For me Yui-Metal was always my favorite, HOWEVER, that being said, I love all the girls and think of them as my little sisters. They're all truly amazing ladies and I couldn't be prouder of them and what they've accomplished and what they are trying to do to make the world a better place. Megitsune is INCREDIBLY hard to get past copyright. It was apparently under a different copyright than their later songs given Yui was involved and the girls were all under contract with Sakura Gakuin when it was written. So the more popular songs of that era tend to be difficult to skate around copyright with because you have multiple queries coming through. A song from that era I've seen do well is the Doki Doki morning music video, but even the live versions of that are tough. As to getting emotional during their live performances, it's totally understandable :) Hell, the other ones love seeing that because we tend to as well lol. It's good to see someone else react in the same many of us did the first time seeing the performance because it feels like watching it again for the first time :) I think the emotionality of that performance is twofold. Firstly, knowing that this is a pure moment that they prepared for to honor the birthday of a member, and with Momo, it's also to herald in and honor/trust a new member. Specially The One since it's a song made for the fans, Su was touched by people trying to learn japanese to understand lyrics more so she wanted to make an english version of the song for them, i just love how much they love their fans. She definetly had to take the third spot, obviously she was made for it 😅 Her entrance was spectacular, nobody expected it to go that way (you could hear the surprise of the crowd! I was utterly surprised, too!). The concert started quite regularly with no special entry ceremony (like with the "Legend S" and "Legend M" concerts) , but with BABYMETAL Death instead. Headbanger was announced with some "Kamishibai" video shown beforehand, telling a little Momo backstory, which was even more unusal, as towards the end it showed the cover image of the single DeLorean of "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" modified to HER in the (at that time) current outfit. At that moment the crowd knew that "Momobanger", which was such a big wish of fans all over the world, was going to happen. Finally. Very loud cheer of the crowd! And then that spectacular entrance happened... they know how to keep their audiences on the toes🤣 Her performance was very unusual, too! Normally, the girls push the mic up when the bowing starts. She did it differently. Sloooowly. Like a crowd energy indicator slowly going up, or like the stage during the "Moabanger" performance back in 2019. I still try to find out, which meaning it had. She altered the choreography a little bit, and she growled! Only to switch to super-cute voice in the following🤣 IMHO, she made the second half of the song totally hers! Most awesome version of that song for me. Big shout out to team BABYMETAL, as they have gone all in for her. I never expected such a spectacular show for Momo´s birthday special. The second evening had some surprises for us, too! Obviously there is a lot of gratitude towards her, as she took on the burden of being a full member of BABYMETAL. And she doesn´t disappoint. To the contrary, she blew some fresh air into the whole thing, but with air speed like a thunderstorm 🤣 So, regular "Headbanger" and "Moabanger", too, pls! "Moabanger" is a compilation video, but fear not, it is very well done! Only confusing thing is the sudden switch of the "Avenger". Originally, the "Avenger" for Moa´s birthday celebration is Kano Fujihira (and she got some screen time, too!), but the compilation was made using "Legend M" and "Legend Metal Galaxy" footage. Guess who was the "Avenger" at "Legend Metal Galaxy" for that song 😄

I think the reason both Momobanger and Moabanger are so emotional for me is that I've watched all of these ladies gorw up (even Momo, who was only 14 or 15 when she started as an Avenger in 2018), and it feels like this is the moment they were reaching for all those years (even though Moa has multiple Moabanger versions from Legend 1999 and Legend M, as well as the Black Babymetal songs that were just Moa and Yui, wiich gave Su a break, in the old days). If you haven't already seen them, the four Black Babymetal songs are "Onedari Daisakusen," "Four No Uta" (aka Song 4), "G.J.," and "Sis Anger." Four No Uta (Song 4) is so named because it is inspired by the Japanese superstitions about the number 4, which is considered unlucky.
I'm glad you decided to react to the proper version though! The performance seems sped up a little compared to the original video, is that also to avoid copyright? On the bluray there's a whole section on the lore of Momometal just before this performance which is really cool. I think we all had that same reaction when she growled. Great reaction! Don't beat yourself up about that compilation.

Great reaction to a great BabyMetal performance. Momo took the baton and showed us what she can do. There is also a Moametal version of this song, which is also incredible. Like Momo, Moa really goes for glory after Queen Su passes her the baton. The Moametal 20th birthday version is not a compilation at all, it is a quality production of a single performance for Moa's 20th birthday at Babymetal Arises - Beyond The Moon - Legend M, which I believe was in Moa's hometown of Nagoya in 2019. Moa looks stunningly beautiful in this version, and her performance is absolutely awesome. The audience response is also amazing.

Glad to see you were able to get the straight video (no compilation). From a Babymetal interview they stated that Momometal's growls now give them some Fangs and they hope to incorporate that onto some of the music. So with all the stops and the copyright break, you were still getting blocked. Then you had to add the sped up version. Wow. They really make it difficult. I'm thinking of doing some reactions as well. Trying to learn.
Even though that's what I had to do, still try to upload with minimal edits. I don't know how others get away with it but I can't. My first attempt with nothing, blocked. Second attempt was just watermark over the video, blocked. Third attempt i added significantly lowering the volume of the music, blocked. Fourth attempt, added the copyright break, partial block but I couldn't accept this because it was blocked in JPN. Fifth attempt was everything I mentioned PLUS I had to speed up the audio. It's so hard and quite the headache. But I love BM and this is my favorite reaction so far, I had to figure it out. But it took me a week and I got in trouble for deleting and reuploading the same video over and over so just be careful. Good luck with your reactions!
For the fox god uploader includes the first part of this headbanger which has momo coming down on a small platform from the top of the stadium with pink lights, of course. Momo is a word also used for pink in Japan. You need to see the meta taro from the same uploader as momo does the lead on this song after coming down on the same platform on the second day of this concert. At the end of the concert Su-metal wishes momo happy birthday and Moa blows momo kisses across the stage. Again look for the acadia upload from the same uploader. At the end of the concert they all looked so happy and had lots of fun hyping the audience

They only sped it up about 3% to get past copyright. It's barely noticeable tbh. Thus why a lot of people choose this version to react to. The musical genre of 'Nightcore' (Sped up normal audio) is VERY popular in japan, and Japanese companies allow it way more than react content from RUclipsrs, so a fix some people use is to edit live concerts JUST to the point where it evades copyright. Around 2-3% I think it'd be fine to go listen to a non-copyright friendly version for personal enjoyment but this was more than fine lol. She even got the legendary descension.

I wanted to make sure it wasn't just some weird trick my ears were playing on me so I went back to the "original" on the Fox gods channel to be sure. Went back and forth between the two versions. Honestly wildly different. For me I can understand any visual stuff for copyright but when the sound gets messed with you're really scrambling the soul of music. I'll use the analogy of going to a fine restaurant and adding a mere 3% more spicing to a dish. It's not much but it changes everything on a fundamental level. But again thanks.

Much better. ForTheFoxGod is a good channel. They will go back and fix any issues if something isn't right or off. Good job on your copywrite battle and improving the reaction quality, some reactors just never figure it out. Talking over the video is ok if it is short and simple like "Oh, Cute" or "Here we go" but dont babble over the video, IMHO. BabyMetal did need an on-stage growler and not always put it on the backtracks. You're right! I had to speed up the song by just .1% and it seems to have been enough to get around the copyright flags! I also threw in that short copy right break screen just to break up the algorithm. Luckily I throw all my videos unedited up on my patreon early as well, but for here I wish I didn't have to edit! I love to listen to their songs as they are and love for people to listen to them as they are as well (I don’t like compilations either lol) I saw in your comments people are still ok with it tho so that’s good. Instead of the copy right break I would have rather you stay on camera and make a comment and talk for a minute while at the same time taking the video off screen where it’s just you on screen talking. Like that it’s a copy right break but we still see the face we came to see. Idk how other RUclipsrs do that but just a suggestion. Momobanger was a performance we waited a long time for. They normally perform this special version of Headbanger on their 15th and 20th birthdays (Su's was on her 16th), but Momo was not officially added to the group until almost a month after her 20th birthday. AND They actually waited until the last day of her 20th year to do it! During that time, I would often comment on BABYMETAL's IG posts/reels and their RUclips videos/shorts to remind them they HAVE to let her do Momobanger! LOL! What's interesting is that in an interview, Momo said she was glad that they did it later in her 20th year because while they were on a world tour that year she was able to practice and perfect her growls/screams, so she was able to do Momobanger with confidence.🤘🦊🤘

There's so much to love about Momobanger. The grand entrance, the crowd interaction, especially at the "KIEROU!", her copying Su-metal by going super serious, the growls, the cutesy singing, Su smiling at her as she hands her the mic, etc... One of the bigger differences is how she holds the mic and the stand. Su and Moa hold it with two hands high in the air, she does it with one. Momo-metal is clearly the Angel of Joy. She made a version of Headbanger that is distinctly her own.
Great reaction Abi. Don't worry about the "talking over the music" part. Most of the time you aren't talking at length, but rather having a genuine reactionary moment to what you're seeing and hearing.
As for the compilation, it served its purpose for the time it came out. It's only "bad" when compared to the actual version.
Wouldn't mind seeing you react to some Hanabie (pronounced "Ha" "nah" "bee" "eh"), a Kawaii metalcore (with a generous helping of EDM in there on some songs) group.
I actually think my patreon community is going to request a hanabie song very soon!

Abimetal, I think you should consider reacting to BABYMETAL's FIRST single's music video, "Doki Doki☆Morning (OFFICIAL)". The single turns 14 years old this year and the music video was released the following year in 2011. The girls were 12-13 years old when they made the video which means that BABYMETAL has been melting faces and making people headbang for HALF of their lives! There is actually a youtube video of the live debut performance of the song from 2010 on a small stage in front of about 100-150 people as well as footage of them recording the song and practicing their choreography, BUT I think the official music video is better to watch! 🤘🦊🤘

That feeling your feeling right now, I think is pride for Momo. You reached that point like most of us where we're so proud of these girls that we get emotional when we see them nail it and we see them get to shine. Knowing that these ladies went from girls to ladies and controls an entire crowd already as young ladies tends to get a lot of people emotional.
That all being said, please also do Moabanger. I think you'll love that one too. Seeing Moa's little smirk in the song is very much soul-touching. For me Yui-Metal was always my favorite, HOWEVER, that being said, I love all the girls and think of them as my little sisters. They're all truly amazing ladies and I couldn't be prouder of them and what they've accomplished and what they are trying to do to make the world a better place.

Thank you for the second reaction of this song. Momo also does another song from this concert pairing. She did Momobanger on one night, and on the other night she did the song that fans are calling Momo Taro (original song was called Meta Taro). She does her growls in that one too. They really seemed to go all out for Momo to try and make her feel part of the group because Moa only ever got one song (MoaBanger) and, if memory serves me correctly, a Happy Birthday from Su during Moa's Legend M concert. It's good to see none of the girls are jealous or anything and they both are happy for Momo!

Megitsune is INCREDIBLY hard to get past copyright. It was apparently under a different copyright than their later songs given Yui was involved and the girls were all under contract with Sakura Gakuin when it was written. So the more popular songs of that era tend to be difficult to skate around copyright with because you have multiple queries coming through. A song from that era I've seen do well is the Doki Doki morning music video, but even the live versions of that are tough.
As to getting emotional during their live performances, it's totally understandable :) Hell, the other ones love seeing that because we tend to as well lol. It's good to see someone else react in the same many of us did the first time seeing the performance because it feels like watching it again for the first time :)
I think the emotionality of that performance is twofold. Firstly, knowing that this is a pure moment that they prepared for to honor the birthday of a member, and with Momo, it's also to herald in and honor/trust a new member. Secondarily (but not in last place) is the fact that we as a fan base are SO FUCKING PROUD of all the work and love Momo has put into this group. Not only that... but she fucking NAILED it.

Her entrance was spectacular, nobody expected it to go that way (you could hear the surprise of the crowd! I was utterly surprised, too!). The concert started quite regularly with no special entry ceremony (like with the "Legend S" and "Legend M" concerts) , but with BABYMETAL Death instead.
Headbanger was announced with some "Kamishibai" video shown beforehand, telling a little Momo backstory, which was even more unusal, as towards the end it showed the cover image of the single DeLorean of "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" modified to HER in the (at that time) current outfit. At that moment the crowd knew that "Momobanger", which was such a big wish of fans all over the world, was going to happen. Finally. Very loud cheer of the crowd! And then that spectacular entrance happened... they know how to keep their audiences on the toes🤣
Her performance was very unusual, too! Normally, the girls push the mic up when the bowing starts. She did it differently. Sloooowly. Like a crowd energy indicator slowly going up, or like the stage during the "Moabanger" performance back in 2019. I still try to find out, which meaning it had. She altered the choreography a little bit, and she growled! Only to switch to super-cute voice in the following🤣 IMHO, she made the second half of the song totally hers! Most awesome version of that song for me.
Big shout out to team BABYMETAL, as they have gone all in for her. I never expected such a spectacular show for Momo´s birthday special. The second evening had some surprises for us, too! Obviously there is a lot of gratitude towards her, as she took on the burden of being a full member of BABYMETAL. And she doesn´t disappoint. To the contrary, she blew some fresh air into the whole thing, but with air speed like a thunderstorm 🤣

Only confusing thing is the sudden switch of the "Avenger". Originally, the "Avenger" for Moa´s birthday celebration is Kano Fujihira (and she got some screen time, too!), but the compilation was made using "Legend M" and "Legend Metal Galaxy" footage. Guess who was the "Avenger" at "Legend Metal Galaxy" for that song 😄

I think the reason both Momobanger and Moabanger are so emotional for me is that I've watched all of these ladies gorw up (even Momo, who was only 14 or 15 when she started as an Avenger in 2018), and it feels like this is the moment they were reaching for all those years (even though Moa has multiple Moabanger versions from Legend 1999 and Legend M, as well as the Black Babymetal songs that were just Moa and Yui, wiich gave Su a break, in the old days). If you haven't already seen them, the four Black Babymetal songs are "Onedari Daisakusen," "Four No Uta" (aka Song 4), "G.J.," and "Sis Anger." Four No Uta (Song 4) is so named because it is inspired by the Japanese superstitions about the number 4, which is considered unlucky.
4 is unlucky in Japan?! Interesting! I guess in USA the equivalent number would be 13.

Great reaction to a great BabyMetal performance. Momo took the baton and showed us what she can do. There is also a Moametal version of this song, which is also incredible. Like Momo, Moa really goes for glory after Queen Su passes her the baton. The Moametal 20th birthday version is not a compilation at all, it is a quality production of a single performance for Moa's 20th birthday at Babymetal Arises - Beyond The Moon - Legend M, which I believe was in Moa's hometown of Nagoya in 2019. Moa looks stunningly beautiful in this version, and her performance is absolutely awesome. The audience response is also amazing.

Glad to see you were able to get the straight video (no compilation). From a Babymetal interview they stated that Momometal's growls now give them some Fangs and they hope to incorporate that onto some of the music.
So with all the stops and the copyright break, you were still getting blocked. Then you had to add the sped up version. Wow. They really make it difficult. I'm thinking of doing some reactions as well. Trying to learn.
Even though that's what I had to do, still try to upload with minimal edits. I don't know how others get away with it but I can't. My first attempt with nothing, blocked. Second attempt was just watermark over the video, blocked. Third attempt i added significantly lowering the volume of the music, blocked. Fourth attempt, added the copyright break, partial block but I couldn't accept this because it was blocked in JPN. Fifth attempt was everything I mentioned PLUS I had to speed up the audio. It's so hard and quite the headache. But I love BM and this is my favorite reaction so far, I had to figure it out. But it took me a week and I got in trouble for deleting and reuploading the same video over and over so just be careful. Good luck with your reactions!

For the fox god uploader includes the first part of this headbanger which has momo coming down on a small platform from the top of the stadium with pink lights, of course. Momo is a word also used for pink in Japan.
You need to see the meta taro from the same uploader as momo does the lead on this song after coming down on the same platform on the second day of this concert.
At the end of the concert Su-metal wishes momo happy birthday and Moa blows momo kisses across the stage. Again look for the acadia upload from the same uploader.

They only sped it up about 3% to get past copyright. It's barely noticeable tbh. Thus why a lot of people choose this version to react to. The musical genre of 'Nightcore' (Sped up normal audio) is VERY popular in japan, and Japanese companies allow it way more than react content from RUclipsrs, so a fix some people use is to edit live concerts JUST to the point where it evades copyright. Around 2-3%
I think it'd be fine to go listen to a non-copyright friendly version for personal enjoyment but this was more than fine lol. She even got the legendary descension.

I wanted to make sure it wasn't just some weird trick my ears were playing on me so I went back to the "original" on the Fox gods channel to be sure. Went back and forth between the two versions. Honestly wildly different. For me I can understand any visual stuff for copyright but when the sound gets messed with you're really scrambling the soul of music. I'll use the analogy of going to a fine restaurant and adding a mere 3% more spicing to a dish. It's not much but it changes everything on a fundamental level. But again thanks.

Much better. ForTheFoxGod is a good channel. They will go back and fix any issues if something isn't right or off. Good job on your copywrite battle and improving the reaction quality, some reactors just never figure it out. Talking over the video is ok if it is short and simple like "Oh, Cute" or "Here we go" but dont babble over the video, IMHO. BabyMetal did need an on-stage growler and not always put it on the backtracks. They must have trained her to do it right cuz if a female does it wrong it will destroy their voice, it has happed a few times with other bands. They all play their roles, Su is the Goddess, Moa shows the Love, and Momo has her Fangs as you said.

@@Abigirl_Reacts well that’s good. Everything you do for copy rights is good. This might be just me but since I’m obsessed with babymetal atm, but I did not enjoy the sped up song. I love to listen to their songs as they are and love for people to listen to them as they are as well (I don’t like compilations either lol) I saw in your comments people are still ok with it tho so that’s good. Instead of the copy right break I would have rather you stay on camera and make a comment and talk for a minute while at the same time taking the video off screen where it’s just you on screen talking. Like that it’s a copy right break but we still see the face we came to see. Idk how other RUclipsrs do that but just a suggestion. The abi-girl reacts spinning on the vid I’m good with (although consider putting AbiMetal reacts for babymetal vids lol) and the back 5 to 10 secs is good too. Thank you and it's not at all your fault about that compilation. A lot of really dumb people push it and promote it and you had no idea you were going to watch garbage, as you do your best to do a blind reaction. So thanks for the reupload and continue to enjoy Babymetal.
