Hi friends! We've got a different type of video for y'all today that we hope you enjoy! We have always loved going on road trips and plan to take more over this spring and summer, so we figured we would revamp our old travel channel to feature more of our current adventures! There's also a little bonus video up there of our first day exploring the city - it was so sunny and beautiful!
We had a blast documenting our weekend in historic Mineral Wells, Texas and enjoyed taking you all along with us!

Yes, totally agree about keeping sweet Bones safe, contained in safe place, with windows shut, doors shut. ❤
I went to New York years ago and there were people who rode motorcyles not high speed ones and they had baskets on the front and the cats travelled in the baskets. And I was completely stressed but the cats just did it. Part of their lives. And New York was completely horrific traffic. They are keeping good tabs on him. He is their world. hugs

I have a senior black feral kitty and she Loves traveling in the car with me!! The looks I get whenever she decides to settle up on the dashboard!!!
Just be Very careful he doesn't decide he wants to get out of you stop for breaks somewhere... or maybe harness train him and be sure he's on a leash whenever you stop and open doors!!!
Agree. Cats are individual thinkers. If they really want to do something. They will. Love your Bones. Remember Bones needs to be safely contained at all times. Bones has his cat independent personality. Cats are also very curious naturally. Wanting to be where the action is. Sharing this because I care about Bones. Such a beautiful cat.❤

This was an amazing scenic view of the town and back roads. Beautiful old buildings so many abandoned ones. Please keep safe and stay dry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Isn't it great that these historic buildings are coming back to life! I remember when it was vacant and broken. I prayed they wouldn't tear it down. Most of these small towns have the courthouse right in the middle of town, and you actually have to drive around it to get from one side of town to the other. I love these small towns. ❤

Oh my goodness.. I was listening and I hear sounded like a pickup truck , Dooley Rack in its pipes off it was kind of loud and I kept thinking.. I was thinking is that truck ever going to pass.. and I kept listening and I was like oh ...WHAT that's Bones purring so loud that was funny..😂😂😂🐱😜. Mr Bones living his best life touring mineral wells sparkling crazy water.. couldn't contain himself.. thanks thanks for the trip to Mineral Wells very informative and makes me want to go ...so happy they're renovating the hotel...
Thank you for such a fascinating tour of Mineral Wells. Very poignant to see all the empty businesses, too. I live in what was once a lovely small market town in middle England. Where we once had farms, we now have housing estates. We also have many empty shops. It is so good to see them renovating that hotel. I wonder if it will resemble its former glory. Little Bones was amazingly well-behaved. He really seemed to love all the new sights and smells. Let's hope the Baker Hotel will revitalise the town. 💗💗👵🏴🌹🌹
Oh my gosh so love seeing videos like this. So cool they are renovating that huge abandoned building. Wow would be so tragic to leave it just sitting. SO cool yes! So nice for Bones to go on tour with you. Hes just enjoying it getting all the sites in. Love it. Very sad aboandoned buildings but so awesome to see them. Those vines in that building are incredible. Mineral Wells is a very mystical place. And yes Bones knows his name :) Black cats that I have owned are incredibly smart. Looking forward to the new channel. hugs

So cool!..I've always wanted to go inside the Baker. Been watching documentaries, haunted history, shows etc for over 25 yrs. Hope to get inside after they open it!...bonesy did great on his trip. Love the backpack!!

I loved this video ! I love all your videos but this one was great, thank you for sharing about the Baker hotel. I love old buildings and i always wonder why more of them are not saved. Grateful to those who can and do save the oldies, buildings were just so much prettier back in the day.

I kept thinking you were going to dumpster dive there! There's a wonderful little park outside of Mineral Wells; I went there with one of my twins and picked up handfuls of fossils.

Thanks for taking us along on your trip! I love learning about new places, and Mineral Wells, TX, is a place I never knew about. I'd love to try some of that Crazy water and the sparkling water. Bones looked like he had a good time, too. Being a cat person, my big question is: Did Bones get to have his own sandwich, too? 😅 There is no need to answer. He just had that look in his eyes like “You're having sandwiches??? Do I get a sandwich, too???” 🤣 Bones is such cool looking cat!! I'm going to look up Mineral Wells online!! 😃 I will definitely subscribe to your new channel!!! 👍

In 1969, the old hospital was closed and the hospital was in the Crazy Water Hotel. My son was born there.

This video was great! It was like visiting my self❤ The town looks deserted. I didn't see one other person there.
If you go back again, Haunted Hill House (as shown on Ghost Adventures) is on NE 1st St. On top of the hill, was the old WELCOME sign fashioned after the old HOLLYWOOD sign since celebrities came here in the old days. In the 60's, we lived in a house with the driveway just to the right of the house and halfway up the hill. LOTS of steps going up to it. All gone now. Before that, we lived at Walters Village where Camp Walters military families lived. Behind our duplex, were the barracks where helicopter pilots trained before going to Viet Nam. A lot of the boat people who came to the US were housed here and literally tore up a lot and they were torn down.
They need you two to greet the guests.

Thanks for taking me along. I am a armchair tourist, so this is a perfect way to see the sights where you two visit. I worry about your kitty getting away from you when the truck door is open. I think I'd attach a leash to his collar, giving you an advantage in case he did get away.

Thanks for the trip to Mineral Wells. I wish I had know more about it when I lived in TX. I lived in the tiny town of Celest and rode to Mineral Wells once.

If you're going to be traveling with Bones please get him a carrier that can be belted in. He's your furbaby and you want him properly protected if you have an accident.

My family are the Tisdales from Midland/Odessa area. Would love to see you guys go there. The Tisdale farm was in Midland and they struck oil!! But, my mom's generation were the last to get checks.😮
I wonder if y’all would consider doing a video of just some of the old courthouses in Texas, starting right at home. I remember as a child hearing about a “horney toad” that lived forever under the Eastland Courthouse. I was a kid a very long time ago.
Great idea! There are so many beautiful courthouses in Texas. We went to another city last week with a unique French style one. That will be up on the vlog soon!
