If you have ever owned a modern Chrysler or Jeep - a Camry is like manna from heaven in terms of consistently working and not having to worry about being stuck at the side of the road, only to then deal with the world's worst customer service and dealer service shops!
A camry and a corrola winning most boring car is actually a good compliment for it always works and doesn't interfere with your life it gets you from a to b
I drove one as a company car for about a year back around 2008-9, lovely vehicle, especially when kitted out with a few luxo options. Did a fair few kilometres in it, no issues at all.
Thanks for a great year - by necessity I became a viewer (3 used cars bought) but I keep watching because it's so entertaining. Wishing you a great 2025.
My 2012 Giulietta QV, which I've owned for 7 years has only required a set of brake pads and a battery, still drives like a dream, and runs flawlessly, hoping to trade it in on a Gulia soon.
@@100brsta Why? Its got decent range, can carry a decent load, will not look like crap after a few years of use due to scratched, dents and rust, performs well, cheap to operate etc. There is even some construction companies starting to use them to tow their heavy loads, since they only need to be towed short distances and for that the Cybertruck, according to them, is unbeatable. It does not lack power and saves them a fortune on diesel that they use to spent towing the same loads. So far the only downside I have heard of is that if you want to tow heavy stuff long distance it is not the truck you should use.
I thought the 250 Prado would be on the list for disappointment. A brand new , ground up car with a 20 year old engine up front, then they forgot to give any useful cargo space in the back. Then just for shits and giggles charge nearly 100k for it.
@@kylehocking420what engine ? They’re all pretty good in that year model 1gr would sludge up easily and loose compression at higher km 1kd will crack pistons when overloaded Both those can be prevented. Sounds like it’s more on the owner than anything
The entire Land Cruiser lineup at this point is taking the piss. A model that hasn't changed much since the 1980s(the 70 series, every single model from that range, even the rather "unpopular" Troopy model) still sells for the same sticker price as the new Prado. Ludicrous. You shouldn't be paying a house deposit for a SUV as old as that even if it has a good reputation.
@@MikoyanGurevichMiG21 the new landcrusiers are even worse, your paying 6 figures for hilux that looks even worse. i know with old landcruisers its kind of hard because they are among the best off roaders ever made but the price is a joke, they cost next to nothing to build from the factor as there is nothing to them
I’ve got a 2020 Camry hybrid and I love it (my 18 year old son calls it the Camborghini and I have a feeling that it gets driven in a fairly spirited way in his hands :) Quiet, handles better than you think it should and rolling acceleration is actually eye opening (took it on a trip to Goondiwindi and passing road trains was a breeze). 4 years and 100,000ks in and not a single issue, rattle or squeak, drives like the same day I drove it off the dealers lot.
Redriven is the best vehicle show anywhere, I love it and the humour is brill, please don't change. Have great new year lads...you deserve the best and I'll see you next year for sure.
😂😂😂 I have just watched yr clip on the worst cars made me laugh and the fact that we have people that spend thousands on a shit box have more money than brains!!! You guys are definitely the top gear of Australia!
I reckon that you were a bit harsh on the Mazda cx30, i like cars to be pleasing to the eye, with regards their proportions...and the cx30 does that for me, the cx3, and cx5 look ungainly. CX30 is a reliable Porsche Macan, in my opinion at least.
I want to show appreciation for this channel, the content is fantastic. Doesn't matter what car they're reviewing, it gives a good rounded view on what makes and models of cars are any good so you can share with friends and family looking to change over their cars.
Totally agree the Camry is not a boring car , Sure Dynamically it might not tickle the tonsils but it is not a boring looking car relative to the average new car . 10 years ago it was a standout winner of boring on all fronts , not now .
I completely agree with your comments on EV vs ICE cars. I have a Polestar 2 LRDM as a daily driver and a Porsche 981 Boxster S for the enjoyment of driving it, and I love them both for different reasons. The PS2 is the perfect daily driver for us, as we can charge it at home off solar (over 90% of it's energy has come from the sun) and we very rarely drive long distances (over 300km in a day), and it's a great car for someone who enjoys the experience of driving but wants the practicality and minimal costs of an EV. Meanwhile the Porsche has that amazing naturally aspirated flat 6 sound and power delivery, with a manual transmission so you can enjoy changing your own gears, and it's such a lovely experience at public road speeds. There are places for both types of cars. For a decent percentage of the population, EV's are just not a good choice. If you don't have access to home charging, and you drive long distances regularly (especially if you want to tow over those distances), then EV's are just frustrating and inadequate when compared to ICE cars. However if you can charge at home (especially if you have solar) and most of your driving is less than 300km in a day, then EV's are so much more effective as a daily driver that the comparison is just laughable.
Good point, my daughter & her husband in Perth have a Tesla to drive back and forth to work, and charge it with Solar and the Tesla house battery. They also have a jacked up Ford Ranger 4x4 with a snorkel etc to go exploring. Both suit their lifestyle and both fulfill different purposes.
This is what being a motoring enthusiast will become as time goes on. If you love cars and driving, you'll have an EV for commuting and a weekend ICE toy under a special registration or something like that. It's unfortunate in that it will simply be unaffordable for many people but hey, this is the world we've built, better get used to it.
Couple of things on Mazda & German Cars: the CX3, should have been called the CX2, because it's a jacked up Mazda 2, not a Mazda 3. The 3 is much better, and that's what the CX30 is based on. Second thing: German cars. I lived in Dubai for over a decade and owned a collection of great cars with some friends. Mercedes were the least reliable cars of the bunch, followed by Audis and BMW. With MB, all the cars had electrical & mechanical issues from the start. With BMW, after about two years in the Dubai heat, all the plastic engine bits cracked and failed. They also had lots of electrical issues. The higher up the model line with BMW, the more electrical issues you got. Audis had a lot of engine and transmission issues, as well as electrical. Only Porsche were reliable. Land Rovers weren't bad mechanically, but my God their electrical systems were horrific, and they had endless squeaks and rattles, even when new. Aside from Porsche, I lost all respect for German cars. The only other cars from Europe that we had almost no issues with were Alfas. They just seemed mechanically sound, and well built, with very few electrical issues. Maseratis also had few issues surprisingly, but their interiors fell apart and every switch and button got sticky. Their infotainment systems were terrible. Our Mitsubishi Pajeros, Nissan Patrols and Toyota Land Cruisers were all super reliable, no issues at all. One of the Mercedes AMG models we had, we terminated the lease early because it spent more time in the shop waiting for parts, than on the road. Every European car we had, we leased them only while on warranty, then got rid of them. The only cars any of us bought personally after the leases were over, were the Japanese.
Yeah, I too have been late on the uptake, re. CX3 and CX30... The CX3 was/is indeed based on the 2. This model was supposed to be the taller, tougher, more practical 2 - but has _less_ boot space due to swapping from dead axle rear suspension, to McPh strut IRS. The CX30 isn't a refreshed, or replacement of, the CX3. It's a legitimately(?) independent model, just with a stupidly similar name. It _is_ based on the 3. Either way, the CX3 is a niche-marketed joke, and the CX30 is a slightly larger niche-marketed joke.
@@assininecomment1630 this isn't true either. CX-3 has a torsion beam rear, same as the 2 it is based on, it has *more* boot space but *less* rear seat space.
As the guys said, it's the modern day queen of the "looks like it will be quite sporty and dynamic to drive but can't back it up on the road" niche. Combined with the poor reliability and depreciation... yeah nah.
I bought a 2015 mk7 golf R and the only well two things really the first one is it needs a new waterpump because 9 out of 10 VW cars have a shit water pump and also these cars love oil they actually use it so make sure you top up your oil every 4 months. I asked my mechanic about the oil and he said yeh that’s normal he checked over the motor and compression was good it’s not blowing smoke no visible oil leaks so we are getting a new waterpump and a new PCV valve for the oil issue he said I won’t have another problem and that almost all the mk7s will need a new waterpump
I recently went to Perth and borrowed my cousin 2010 Toyota Camry. What a great car! Manual Sportivo 290 thousand kms on the ODO this drives smooth as and great take off power. For a 14 years old car it was a dream to drive. I have a 2015 Toyota Yaris Ascent and need to upgrade this year and the Camry has given me good for thought ~ I will take reliability over exciting/stylish any days!! 👍🏽🤗
I LOVE my CX-30 I have the turbo and it is a joy to drive. It cost a tiny fraction of what some of the other cars in the video cost. It's great for 2 people... I paid just over 30K (In the USA) for it, thrilled with it...
I am on my way to pick up a 2018 Jaguar e-pace with a leaking radiator and take it back to the dealership. I'm sure all 12 of them that they sold in that year probably have had many problems by now, what a terrible car. It blows my mind that a 6 or 7-year-old car as a leaking radiator. I just preemptively replaced the radiator in my 29 year old 80 series LandCruiser because it was on the verge of leaking.
I'm glad I came across your channel We're currently looking for a second car for a second car/new daughter [P] plate driver, and your content has been incredibly helpful.
Never been on your channel before, but you guys are great! I had never seen nor heard of an RCZ before, maybe because I am in the USA. What I found amusing was that it looks just like a 4th gen Mitsubishi Eclipse, which was also a complete donkey. Happy New Year!
Exactly. They are like twin brothers)) even in driving experience - similar. Except the rcz feels more light and better material quality. The eclipse though is much more reliable. That 2.4 4g64 is bulletproof
@pffyespff they're not that far off tbh. I've got a C63s and the interior quality is a bit lacking. But then again,it's not my priority. I only care for how it looks and how it makes me feel driving it. Everyone here craps on about how much better the Lexus LC500 or their RCF. Yet their sales figures said otherwise.
@paultasker7788 the new one is very quick. I test drove one but it just doesn't have the sparks of you know what I mean? I've seen 2 C63se so far since release, one was the one on my test drive and one in the wild. That's it. I don't think they're selling well. I'm waiting to see if the CLE63s will be a V8.
@hellothere4342 the V8 was kind of the USP for the C63 though wasn't it. The M3/4 was the more sensible accomplished car and the C63 more brutal and exciting. The soundtrack thrilling. I can see why they needed to meet emissions and electrify. But 4 cylinders? A 6 might have been an acceptable drop but 4 might be too far? Most 4s especially turbos are pretty soulless. Then there is the weight
There is a background buzz sound that comes through on all your videos. This one especially! You really hear it on a TV sound system. Love the content!!
I just bought a 2024 Subaru Forester, so old school, so outdated but I know it will work, I know it is supported, and I know it will still be worth something in 5 years.
Just make sure you get the trans fluids done periodically, because I think Subaru used to say that was a “lifetime fluid” (which was BS). If you do get that done, those Subaru CVTs are actually decent and quite smooth. If you don’t, they just fall apart.
Best RUclips channel in 2024 for me, glad I found this channel. Keep up the good work gents and when I need some new wipers this year they’ll be Wipertech and I’ll use your link, help support the channel.
I was told recently by a Mazda dealer they're canning the Mazda 3 and 5 and moving to the 5"0" type Euro models. I have a Mazda 3 2012- love it. I only paid new batteries, tyres and wiper blades in all that time
Recently drove a Merc GLC 250D and for 3 months around the surf coast of Vic (Great Ocean Road etc) nothing on the engine went but anything electric was crap. Excellent speed in sport mode 💪😂 and hugged the road wickedly on tight corners but glad I didn't have to maintain the thing. House-sitting is bomb

Happy new year to the likeable blokes at redriven..and lets give Jim some more love going forward in the 2025 reviews, I reckon he deserves a way better intro at the segue 😃
I am in the UK and you have managed to echo my feelings completely, not only about your used choices but the new as well. Just goes to show how globally many of the manufacturers have lost their way and produce thier cars from the marketing department and not the engineering department. Do any of them know what their consumers actually want any more?
This doesn’t make sense. You expect engineers to know or care about customer preferences? Nope. Marketing should be most in touch with what customers want, because they have to sell the thing after it comes off the production line. So either they are horrendously bad at their jobs or the decisions are being made higher up. I bet it’s the latter.
I think the Accountants are getting the most say, because the reliability of modern cars seems to be going to shit, with almost every major brand having some sort of catastrophic engine or transmission issue in recent years. After more than a hundred years they know how to build a reliable engines and transmissions, the only reason they can't would appear to be down to cost cutting in design, materials and endurance testing,.
@@SaintKimbo Was gonna say, it's someone in Finance who is demanding touchscreens instead of physical controls because a screen is cheaper than a set of buttons (and then you have Dacia, who use buttons for HVAC at under 15,000GBP while a Ferrari at 20x the price doesn't).
Car magazines/reviews were written by professional drivers back in the day. Today, they are being written by IT people. The day a phone tech YT reviewer started "testing" cars, I knew that the industry is going down. Any chimp can drive and review and EV, since they are essentially smartphones with wheels now.
CX30 is a great car. Upgraded from a 5 yr old 3. If you watch their video on the cx30 and read the comments, it seems the majority think they got it wrong.
CX30 is one of the best .its higher to avoid gutter scraping ,has all the modern add ons ,suites couples that require easy access.looks superb and comfortable. Japanese build quality is excellent . Ideal for retired couples .cx5 is too big .mazda 3 too low . Ideal for long distance travelling .motors are proven reliability .dont know what car they tested but doesn’t make sense in my reality.
From what I can tell, Mazda CX30 owners are mostly looking for a boring NPC-mobile that just happens to look very chic and stylish, whereas many Mazda 3 owners are enthusiasts looking for a fun, affordable compact daily to add to the garage. So even though both are basically the same underneath, perhaps they attract different types of buyers with differing mindsets on maintenance/servicing, and that can skew/bias the data these guys are seeing for the CX30?
XC40 (PHEV) owner here... I agree that it's not dynamically exciting but as a city run-around 95% of the time on battery and 5% of the time interstate mile eater - it does both jobs boringly, really well. I wouldn't own a petrol or diesel version though, the PHEV suited our needs 4 years ago when we bought it and it hasn't let us down at all.
Do you have the one with that bizarre Google connect system where everything works through a Google interface? I have a friend who bought one recently and he's trying to sell it now because it's driving him nuts.
I would agree with the Golf mk7. My dad had one, thought it was great, was fuel efficient and had no problems even at 150K. Bought one at 101ks, ended up spending several thousands more just to make sure i could still commute. Ended up selling it after being told it needed an engine rebuild
See! This is the absolute best episode! Tells us normal people what we wanna know. We're NOT big on handling top speed, 6.2 to 100kmh. We don't care! Reliability, spare parts cost . A good warranty. That's it. great episode!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My partner has just purchased a Mazda CX-30. We did an exhaustive review of her needs for a new car and decided that she needed a compact SUV. We shortlisted 5 brands - Hyundai Kona, Mitsubishi ASX, Honda HRV (then ZVR as HRV does not have 3rd seat belt in the rear), Toyota Yaris Xover, Mazda CX-30 & Lexus LBX. Mitsubihsi ASX discounted due to the age of the platform and is likely up for a complete refresh shortly. Toyota Yaris too cheap fishish with hard. scratchy plastics. Honda HRV does not have electric drivers seat and not 3rd seat belt in rear. Honda ZRV felt sloppy in the steering and overall driving dynamics were not great. Hyundai Kon again felt a bit cheap and lacked the more luxury feel of the Mazda and Lexus. So short, shortlist came down to Lexus LBX and Mazda CX-30. Heart said Lexus for its premium feel, options, sound system and overall driving characteristics. BUT, partner unable to find a comfortable seating position. seat squad simply not long enough. So she went with the CX-30. The G20 version is pretty gutless and the auto just didn't work well in this config. Also noticed on two separate demo cars (G20) a whine from the transmission. We tested the G25 and what a difference. Certainly has more the Zoom Zoom. BTW, she is stepping out of a Mazda 3 MY2007 she has had since new. The CX-30 G25 Astina has all the goodies, drives well and feels premium. Not as premium as the Lexuis LBX but good all the same.
@@racingbrownsocks CX-3 was too small and is smaller than the CX-30. CX-5 is bigger than what my partner was seeking. So CX-30 was pretty much the sweet spot - carry capacity, hatch/boot space, G25 offers reasonable performance and works well with transmission.
I loved volvo growing up as our family car, we'd rag on it hard and it'd take it in its stride with the old redblock. Then ford bought it, and we bought the first flagship as an ex-demo, the S80 T6, and it was a huge financial mistake, and eventually sold it for $2000. I see volvo as dying in the 90s, and a doppelganger taking its place
Thanks for another informative unbiased review Adam and Jim I appreciate the effort that you both put in to these videos and it’s great to hear to hear about soulless vehicles plenty of em exist but are rarely exposed via RUclips
Thanks for yet another full year of automotive coverage! Imagine the boon it would be to cover a reliable and interesting car for 2025 such as an Alfa Romeo GTV!
Mercedes, BMW & Audi are 3 HUUUGE disappointments! Reason? Plastics, plastics everywhere, and still some more to find!!! Expensive trash is SOOO disappointing!!! On the other hand, KIA/Hyundai have improved sooo much, quality-reliability-wise!!!!!!!!!
Never been Volvo fan but it's sad to see what Volvo is nowadays with quality. It's basically Chinese Geely just Volvo badge on it. Long gone are the days of quality real Swedish Volvo's. Another thing about Stellantis I hope Alfa Romeo would keep making bangers such a Giulia.
I think that's underselling it. We've owned countless Volvos and while we haven't had a Geely-era one yet, they're still fully Swedish-engineered (and mainly built there) through and through. My indie mechanic says the problem with the SPA-platform cars isn't Chinese ownership-the real problem is that Volvo has been pushed as a more 'upmarket' brand that focuses now more on gimmicks and 'tech' than longevity and reliability. The new engines are every bit as Volvo as they've always been, but parts are now far more expensive than they used to be and failure points are more numerous with the number of computers and driveline components. Ironic then isn't it, that new Volvos are selling better than ever. The general public just wants 'tech' and flashiness, so the brands simply respond in kind. The Chinese brands are even better at that, regardless of where the cars will be in ten years.
Our BYD Seal, the quality of the materials used, the stitching, panelling and style is better than the Mercedes shown in this video, so much better than the Japanese as well. Resale value well all cars depreciate. Fact of life @@yslee1401
Love your work guys, especially Jim's "What goes wrong" segment which has influenced and informed my used car buying decision recently for sure. Looking forward to your videos in 2025 👍
When researching Mazda 3, could you give us more information about Skyactiv-x reliability. To me it seems that this spark controlled compression ignition tech is pointless. It's way more complicated than something like Toyota's Atkinson cycle engines and doesn't give that great efficiency boost. I wonder how much more expensive servicing this engine is.
Hi Adam and Jim! Love your videos as always ! I brought a new rav4 cruiser awd in august. Boring as batshit but Japanese reliability and build quality. Also thanks for the heads up about Liverpool Mazda and their window wiper extorting racket. I will keep a wide berth of Liverpool Mazda if I’m ever stuck in that locale and needed new wipers !
As usual great best/worst videos! As an Audi owner I’m severely disappointed that Audi was so poorly represented in the “worst cars” video, just a passing reference to the A8. But as an optimist maybe Team Audi will have a better showing in 2025! 🤣 Happy New Year everyone!
Great episode, fellas. 🙌 Production quality and presentation is consistently high these days. Nice work! Volvo? To me, that XC40 interior looks kinda like a 2021 Hyundai iSumfink... 🫤 CX30 ? _Totally_ agree with Adam, on Mazda's likely strategy with this product: To even _partly_ considered car buyers, it's 🤨 wtf. To Mazda, it's purely 🤑. When SUV used to kinda-sorta mean some higher clearance, and some gravel road capability, some wider or chunkier rubber, it was also when matte plastic arch extensions _slightly_ made sense. But on the CX30..? No. Nope with jingle bells on it. Nopedy nope-nope-nope! It's a friggin' Mazda 3 - but a 3 for all those times you want to chuck coupla bikes on top, and head up the ranges for a day riding through on national park tracks. Yep - never. Also, 'never' is how often a CX30 will traverse _anything_ rougher than a Westfield speedbump, on 'shares dividend credit day'. 😒
I’ve got a 2020 C63 non S saloon. It’s a great car and can explore the performance within the speed limit on UK roads. It’s mighty fast, I can’t see the point in anything faster with a sub 4sec 0-60/100kph and 0-100mph in sub 10 seconds. I agree that the cabin materials are on the cheap side and appear to have been recycled at least once. I’ve had no mechanical issues as ide from the start/stop battery dying which was covered under warranty. I’ve had it for 20 months and.its worth 95% of what I paid in April 2022.
The Audi S8 of that generation facelift is my favourite car ever made. The A8 almost has the same engine... so it can be tuned to 800-900 HP. The LS can't touch that. That's how it's better. Than and looks of the A8/S8 are so much better than the LS. I have a 500 hp Audi A6 and an ES350 Fsport2 as my daily drivers, so that felt super familiar. :D

Yes, when I was young I always had aspirations of owning a sporting Merc or a BMW, but the Hoons have completely shot that down. I've never seen a vehicle go from being seen as cool, to a joke in such a short timeframe. It was literally about 60 days.
@@Fluffy65 I have not heard of anyone that thinks its a joke, except for those that was anti Cybertruck\EV from the start.
@@JJSmith1100i am not anti EV. Cybertruck is a joke.
Nice to see a show that deals with cars available in Australia. Usually these type of shows deal with US cars, and mean nothing to me.

I reckon that you were a bit harsh on the Mazda cx30, i like cars to be pleasing to the eye, with regards their proportions...and the cx30 does that for me, the cx3, and cx5 look ungainly. CX30 is a reliable Porsche Macan, in my opinion at least.
I have a CX-30 turbo and I LOVE IT! Such a joy to drive and a small fraction of the cost of other cars in the video..

Totally agree the Camry is not a boring car , Sure Dynamically it might not tickle the tonsils but it is not a boring looking car relative to the average new car . 10 years ago it was a standout winner of boring on all fronts , not now .
Sorry, but it just is. The Camry excels at reliability, which is great. But as an emotive vehicle, it has nothing to offer.
Emotive HA HA, people that buy euro crap are trying to fill a void in their life most likely self esteem issues or status.
You've got the Mazdas the wrong way around, mate. CX-3 is based on the current generation Mazda 2, CX-30 is based on the current generation Mazda 3.
The CX30 isn’t based on the 2.
I don’t know where you got that info.
The CX30 is based on the 3.
In addition, Mazda 3 uses torsion beam on the rear suspension setup which to me is a massive disaster
Can't argue with any of those - but I do still love the look of the RCZ. Thanks.
My son had one for a short time. The unreliable reputation is well earned.
As the guys said, it's the modern day queen of the "looks like it will be quite sporty and dynamic to drive but can't back it up on the road" niche. Combined with the poor reliability and depreciation... yeah nah.
Only French car I'd take a chance on is a Traction Avant, H van or a Bugatti (because I can totally afford that lol).
C63s getting shat on. Feeling attacked but the boys aren't wrong. It's a shit car but the highlight is the engine.
All the other reviewers say 4 out of 5 stars. These guys here are outliers.
Not the new one. The old one with it's growling V8 yes. But the new one is quicker but soulless
I am in the UK and you have managed to echo my feelings completely, not only about your used choices but the new as well. Just goes to show how globally many of the manufacturers have lost their way and produce thier cars from the marketing department and not the engineering department. Do any of them know what their consumers actually want any more?
I think Jaguar is a case in point! Marketing. Says it all.
You're saying this like every company doesn't heavily invest in crossovers and SUVs that sell like hotcakes.
The reason why they have someone jumping on the Toyota commercial is because they have parked their Toyota and got out of the uncomfortable seat

I agree that it's not dynamically exciting but as a city run-around 95% of the time on battery and 5% of the time interstate mile eater - it does both jobs boringly, really well.
My experience exactly. I'm not sure that I can agree with the assessments of the Mazda CX30
Out of curiosity, why not just a Mazda 3?
@@racingbrownsocks CX-3 was too small and is smaller than the CX-30. CX-5 is bigger than what my partner was seeking. So CX-30 was pretty much the sweet spot - carry capacity, hatch/boot space, G25 offers reasonable performance and works well with transmission.

Yeap, anything Chinese will be of poor quality and super low resale value

When researching Mazda 3, could you give us more information about Skyactiv-x reliability. To me it seems that this spark controlled compression ignition tech is pointless. I agree that the cabin materials are on the cheap side and appear to have been recycled at least once.
I’ve had no mechanical issues as ide from the start/stop battery dying which was covered under warranty. I’ve had it for 20 months and.its worth 95% of what I paid in April 2022.
I really enjoy driving the Corolla Hatch 6mt after a few upgrades to the suspension and shifter. The aftermarket is pretty strong.
Ads, the Roland TD-12 you sold me 18 years ago is still strong as is my Merc C200. You win some and you lose some brother. Wishing you and yours a huge safe and prosperous New Year, hope to catch up soon
Interesting about the Mk8 Fiesta ST r.e the wet belt, they seem to be reliable overall regardless of the engine spec.
The people buying c63s are the same people who used to buy v8 holdens, theyve just migrated to whats available
Yes, when I was young I always had aspirations of owning a sporting Merc or a BMW, but the Hoons have completely shot that down.
I'd be too embarrassed to own on now, they have ruined their reputations for classy elegance and now seem to be driven by arrogant rude Jerks who just want to show off.
That CL63 in the video, bronze color with yellow 'go fast' stripes, just vomit inducing !
Not exactly
Nah the national boganmobile is now the ranger. V8 Commodores and HSVs both ute or sedan (and even wagon) arr considered cool now that the bogans have moved on from them
@@eugenewang4650 Don't forget the lift kit so they can hit your rear view mirror with the lights mounted to an aftermarket bullbar while they're .0000002mm from you rear bumper.
FK no chance. Merc are putrid and no way would I buy one or either would my mates who own VF SS Redline's..
Congrats on 300k subscribers 🎉
Love the brutal honesty, there are so many crap cars being spewed into the market - still!
I am from Québec Canada… love your comments!
regarding how bad the depreciation is for the T Cross is, brand new they're like 46k, 1 that's 4 years old is like 21k. Its lost 25k in 4 years ???
Gents I bought a Merc GLC250 diesel in January 2016. One of the most underwhelming vehicles I’ve ever owned. I think I dodged a bullet! 😅 Ph & regards EV’s, when they prove they have longevity without issues, I’ll get onboard. We have the worst infrastructure & complete lack of reliable, accessible recharging. Let alone the so called backup power support. No way on earth can we rely just on renewables! What a woke joke! But thanks for 2024 Adam & Jim!🍾👏🏼😎👍🏼
When they review the Mazda 3 in couple of weeks, I hope they do the 2.5 manual and not a 2.0 wankymatic
