Then Jake really nailed it when he said he knew he was ready when he realized he would never be really ready. I met someone in the pandemic as well. I had completed almost a year of singleness and working on me/healing. They had been abandoned and asked could we hang as friends but I declined because I didn’t want to mess up what God maybe working on for us both. Then a few months went by and they asked again to go out as friends. I said yes, we really were there for each other so much. They had to move due to circumstances and still had some baggage and my heart hurts. We still speak often, but the distance. Thank you both for sharing your perspectives on intentional dating it’s quite lovely! 🥹🤗
