I remember the 80/20 rule, I first heard about it in a movie with Jill Scott Janet Jackson and other wonderful characters in that movie, can I just say you two are so relatable and down-to-earth much respect.🤗😉
I first heard of the 80/20 rule from “why did I get married” movie and it made a lot of sense to me, it’s nice that you both are applying it to your relationship and you are absolutely right society likes to spotlight Toxic things I think it’s time we spotlight Positive relationships and positive things in general. I think the world would be much better off if we did that more 😊
80/20 rule comes from the Tyler Perry's movie with Jill Scout and Janet Jackson where long term friends/couples do their annual getaway where they love each other and are full disclosure with each other because they're actually FAMILY. I believe it's WHY DID I GET MARRIED.
"Not trying to prove who is right or wrong", wow, that hit me hard. From now on,will try to apply that rule in my life.Stay blesses and keep loving ❤ each other.🥰
I just wanted to let you guys know I admire your relationship. Keep the love ❤️ going for one another. There's nothing like a healthy lifestyle loving relationship.
Hi TT and Jake. I heard the 80/20 from why did I get married movie but the context was different in the movie. I like the approach of the 80/20 the way you described it. I think it's important to communicate with your mate.
TT and Jake I love your honesty, your patience with each other and willingness to let the other have their time to chill. Your ability to talk TO and LISTEN Is essential!! I Love you two cause you keep it real👍🏾😊. By the way I tried a couple of vegetarian dishes...........not for me. 😊. TT those fries sure looked delicious, I haven't had them in over 3yrs. 🤔 maybe I will try some. 😃❤❤❤👵
I think more people need to know about the 80/20 rule, might be more helpful to newly married couples too. Thanks so much for sharing, have a great night!
Thank you for sharing the positive effect of the 80/20 rule in your relationship. I think it’s wonderful that effective communication has brought you two lovebirds even closer. I admire your desire to be of benefit to others by sharing those things that are working for you. I enjoyed l the sit down session immensely. Looking forward to the next one. Gild Bless.
The 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, originated with Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto in 1896 or 1897. Pareto observed that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population, and that 20% of the peapods in his garden contained 80% of the peas. He later observed the same phenomenon in other countries and with other things, such as wealth distribution and plant productivity.
With you TT 💯 on GSW. Now here in SE Michigan Chik-fil-a lines are as long as Jake described for Raising Cane. I also first heard of the 80/20 rule in a Tyler Perry movie. It was used to explain that relationships are never 50/50. Just as you say, one or the other partner would give/do more based on circumstances, without feeling put upon or resentful. I do enjoy your Mukbang videos‼️💞🥰
Hi TT and Jake, thanks for sharing the great communication tips. Yes TT, I am interested in hearing what life was like for y'all in your 20"s. Stay blessed.! 🤗
I’m 36, married with 3 kids and y’all really help people . My husband has horrible communication but I commend you guys. I think adding children to the mix makes it hard especially when you have a party we who doesn’t communicate. I feel 100 % of the weight mentally and emotionally most of the time so thank you.
Hey guys long time. Raising canes I like and the sweet tea.. and when you mentioned Ike’s I was thinking if my favorites 1. Fall’in for Ike’s and 2. Maya Angelou.. so yummy and filling. Glad to see y’all doing well! Stay blessed and have a good week 🤗.
Absolutely beautiful. I so enjoy watching the both of you. Still waiting for the exciting news you have to share. Keep making each other happy. Stay safe and happy!
I love how you apply the 80/20 rule...quite interesting! For me, I always thought it only applies to character/qualities in terms of strengths and weaknesses one will tolerate in a relationship etc! Just a quick question to both TT & Jake... If possible, I will love to see videos where you are also cooking or making your own meals😜! How much are you spending on take away food?
The 80/20 rule has come to mean different things in different areas of life - however, it is originally a business term: The 80-20 rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, is a familiar saying that asserts that 80% of outcomes (or outputs) result from 20% of all causes (or inputs) for any given event. In business, a goal of the 80-20 rule is to identify inputs that are potentially the most productive and make them the priority. ---------- in my business it means that 20% of the people are usually leadership and 80%...; in my church life it means 20% of the people do most of the work and 80% has less responsibility...
well, well, well okay welcome backkkkkk TT AND JAKE seems like ya"ll have been gone 4everrrrrr and we miss you guys we love ya"ll videos no matter what they are about 😏🤎🤍👍👍!
Thanks guys for sharing the 80/20 rule and also you talking about the communication.... For sure that's a step ahead in any relationship to build a strong bond.... Sometimes work schedules and procedures at place of work can ruin your mood at work and at home... But as you have said... Work moods should be left at work and once you're back home embress the joy you do share with your family or your partner...... Thank you ... Be blessed... Jah bless your relationship
TT & Jake...I Love How You Make Healthy Relationships Dope!!! I support implementing the 80/20 Rule because like you both said... It's unspoken rule which says I need a little more Help without having to say so. It"s code for "You Already Know" Because sometimes the best way we can express our feelings is simple as "Meh". You Both Love, Respect and Your Personalities & Sense of Humor Clicks!!! Shows Us That It Can & Will Work If You Work It!!!!
It’s called the Pareto Principle and initially referred to the growth of pea pods, but has since been Realized that it can cover many aspects of human life
I’m very familiar with this; however I gave 98 and he gave 2, so that’s some jacked up math that gets exhausting. Now with my sons, this worked pretty well most of the time. And now that they’re grown we have wonderful adult relationships, which I love!
Is it just me or does Jake look a lot like Joel Kinnaman? On another note their relationship seems so strong and I love the respect they share for each other.
Suggestion I would like to see you two spend a few days I. New Orlean for a food tasting experience where you can eat some GOOD FOOD. You both enjoy the dinning experience and New Orleans would be the perfect food venue for y'all. Hope you consider dining in NO.
So I haven't heard of the 80 20 rule in this context. I've only heard of it in healthy eating terms where you eat 80% healthy foods and 20% junk cause sometimes you just need that piece of cake or a cookie but having 80 20 in terms of a relationship is great. I will use it in my next relationship.
How you know that? Are you living with them? If not how would u know that they aren't affectionate with each other. They don't have to show or prove their love to people on RUclips.
@@wilmaflinstone7650 See here's the problem with trying to interact with social media, I think I was trying to communicate with the owners of this social media site and not a passerby. By the way Tt and Jake thank you for the holding hands on your newest video, loved it and it made me smile.❤️ It also lets us know you're reading our comments. Love you guys 💓
Pause 6:25. Completely off topic, but I got side track by how big that chicken sandwich looked. 😂The Chick- fil- A in VA where I live make those sandwiches small. I feel robbed😂.
Just a reference point of info: I think you guys are supportive of the LGBTQIA community. If you are, you will NEVER eat from Chick fil la again! They are terrible to our community. Just saying! Of course you can eat from wherever you want, BUT you Guys seem SO chill and kul I thought I would share this info! I still luv ya' As always greetings from The Chi!!! Keep doin you!!!

The Pareto principle is also known as the 80/20 rule. It's named after the Italian economist of the same name, hope that helps.

Something I realized, neither of you are affectionate towards each other. There's never any hugs, kisses or touching between the 2 of you.
