#4 needs an update - the biggest one. After studying engineering, if cups were like tubes, they'd fall out of our hands easily. Imagine a cup with condensation and trying to grip it. We'd drop our drinks quite often.
I actually played around one day with my AirPods and found out those black holes that have a think layer of plastic over them is really to tell the AriPod to turn off the music when you take it out, when you put it back in, the sensors tell the earphones to start playing again
They're infrared. Point your front facing phone camera and you will see them glow purple like a remote control IR signal. They're technically proximity sensors
Regarding the buttons, I remember reading that men's jackets also buttoned left over right so their man servants could dress them, but due to gentlemen wanting easy access to their swords, they changed to right over left for their right hand to slide easily under the jacket to get to the sword on the left. And it just caught on.
About number 5, button up: Actually the story is that most men are right handed, and because of that their sword was placed on the left side of the belt. The shirt that the men wear needed to have the left side over the right side in order for the sword to slide easily out, and not to get stuck in the shirt. People got used to this method of dressing, and because the rich women had someone else to dress them, their buttons were placed the other way around, so it will be easy for another person to dress them.
I AM GLAD YOU FINALLY ANSWERED THAT QUESTION AT THE END because I really did think I had small rodents scavenging my ear canals for tree fruit. I'm glad you cleared that up that it's not them making all that ruckus at right.
#18, as a tech (mechanic) working at a dealership, your car may be compatible with some customization such as window open/close, illuminated entry, etc. Usually it's free to have it customized. Just ask the service advisor to have the tech enable these feature and teach you how to use it 👍 #9 those "tire bumps" are the wear indicator. It's usually 2/32, when it reached the tire's end of life on tread. For your safety and others, have it replaced. Also, usually when your tire is about 6 years old, they start to dry rot. Separation of rubber is occurring. The date of production can be found by the last 4 digit of the DOT stamped on the tire (i.e. "DOT U2LL LMLR4219" = "4219" = "42" --> 42nd week of "19" -> year, 2019). If there's no last 4 digit on the tire, check the other side of it, the sidewall facing inside
About tires: when I was struggling financially, I would try to get every last mile out of my tires. I learned to get real good at determining how long I could go before noticing wear & the steel belts showing. One time I went too long, went over some rail road tracks & got a blow out. Turns out, the tire was wearing more on the inside!

Cups' conical shape also has another function: removability from the mold. Whether it's a paper or plastic cup, it needs a mold/mandrel, and the shape gives the cup body positive draft, meaning it can be removed from the mold/mandrel easily without breaking the mold, or much difficulty.
Or the waffle ice cream cone. A vendor was hawking his new confectionary treat, ice cream, at the World's Fair around 1900; and, ran out of bowls. A nearby vendor was selling waffles, about the size of Eggo waffles; so, he bought like 100 of them, rolled them & put a scoop of ice cream on top. Wa-la! People loved the new 'ice cream cone.' Or, the potato chip. When steamship voyages were new, only the wealthy could afford; and, it was considered impolite to eat with ones hands. One ship's diner sent his potatoes back to the kitchen, claiming they were undercooked. Out of spite, the chef decided to cook them so crispy he'd have no choice but to eat them with his hands. People loved them & started requesting them!

Logic dictates that if we can't use that reason and intellect (combined with myriad technological/medical, etc., advances) we so heavily pride ourselves for, to get it under control?
You better believe 'Mother Earth' is going to.
The pandemic is a 'cleansing'; it doesn't Care about our empathy, our 'feelings' and it doesn't matter what we do: people are going to succumb to it.
WE did this. Humans.
Do we ACTIVELY Care much less notice the many species WE EXTINCT EACH DAY much less drive out of their ecosystem? Most people are oblivious to this fact!
In the 50's we had HALF of the people we do TODAY. HALF. In LESS than a century we've added over 3 BILLION humans to a more bursting planet.
If people want to delusionally keep believing a mask is going to help, great! Good for them. If that was the case we all would've been BORN with a flap of flesh on our face. (Honestly? It's our F-ING HANDS that spread the s$it, smh🙄. It's what we TOUCH. Medical GLOVES would actually work BETTER, but I digress...)
No one is guaranteed any set time on this Earth; there will always be disease (comically, deadly STD's STILL don't warrant the attention this crap is getting so we're doomed anyhow- it's like 'Idiocracy' IRL-people really are dimwitted!) Natural disasters and bad people hurting others (SIMPLE MATH: MORE PEOPLE = MORE BAD PEOPLE).
I'll be 44 in a few short months; I'm sick. I have a brain tumor and myriad other aliments (though I don't look it) but also have daughters and GRANDkids and even I'm capable of logic understanding; attacking others BC they state facts about a 'scary' situation doesn't change those facts.
@@FallnAngL-dg7gx Oh my God this is gonna take a while, hold up. Love your name, by the way.

This video litterally changed the way I look at some of these things lol
yeeeeeeeeeees!
I'm surprised!
thanks for the information!
for the dollar bill, instead at looking at the letter and looking up where its from you can just READ right under it to find out where its from lol
#12. The red stripes where originally bloodstripes.
The bandages which were soaked with blood and hung on a large pole to dry.
They would wind around the poles because of the wind.
This left red stripes on the poles.

The fast food server never ever pushes those tabs in on the fast food drink lids. Probably because they don't even know what they're for.
I must admit, I was practically a young adult before they started doing that; or, writing on the lids what drink it was.
@@phlushphish793
Yes I think I have seen more writing on the lids than anything
Wish I had known about the key fob opening windows sooner. Learned something new today!
I’m a girl and I have a button up shirt I’m left-handed so that is awesome :D
Do you like to touch yourself there?
UHM my favorite shirt is a button up and I never knew that they were originally designed this way so I thought that was awesome and also considering that I am one of the only left hands in my family other than one of my cousins. ONE.and my cousin is younger than me so I was one of the first left handed people in our family IN LIKE 20 YEARS
thanks @BE AMAZED I've learnt a lot.
I'm left handed, I'M SPECIAL!!!

I liked because you saved my life.
The lock button for cars just proves that people do not read their car manuals
Especially when you buy a car second-hand and it doesn't come with a manual.
Very informative
There are also light sensors in AirPods that tell them when they are in your ear/case

What an unbelievably nice RUclips recommended video. A great way to learn how to know whether you're an idiot for wasting your time watching this or complete idiot for wasting your time, but still learn something.
