Great job guys! Really enjoye your in depth podcasts. Swayman saved the job of the coach as he continues to underwhelm as a playoff tactician. There were never any adjustments to zone exits or the forechecking strategy. The emphasis on quality shots is maddening especially considering the low talent level of the forwards and that we were often being beat with seeing eye goals. The power play is a mess and the bench is being run like a zoo with all the too many men on the ice penalties

The Bruins did what they could with what they had. They got D but need some O.
Considering the amount of talent they lost goin' into the season they played good Hockey.
But the top scorers unfortunately failed to produce when it mattered most.
Never expected a Cup but luv 'em none the less. Go BRUINS.

Born in 99 and have had many heart breakers over the years. 10, 13, 14, 15, 19, 23 all heartbreakers. This year is simply not one of them and was an expected result. Use cap space to get some scoring punch up front.

Regarding the lack of home ice advantage around the league, up until the 1990's the home team almost always received twice as many power plays as the visiting team. Whether or not that was coming down from the league to ensure better attendance or what who knows?
As for this series, the better team won. If the Bruins had beaten Toronto in five games, maybe they could have practiced more for Florida. We'll never know.

Everyone knows offense in priority NUMBER ONE.. BUT *IF* the bruins do decide to try and acquire a top four d w all the new available cap space. Plus the emergence of Lohrei. It’s absolutely fair to ask where Carlo fits in in that scenario. All that’s being asked here. And honestly when you lack deep playoff runs year after year after year it’s always fair to ask if certain changes could happpen. This year was an admirable effort by Boston but past years early exits play in here too

I would say though that getting rid of Linus 5 million dollar salary could be used for a MUCH NEEDED top 6 Center.... Tough call for a GM cause i still feel you don't want Sway to play 75 % of the regular season and then not have enough ⛽️ in the tank by playoff time...

Florida was clearly the better team and had the better goalie. Doesn’t take a genius to see this, just takes someone that’s able to drop the emotion from the “Home team” favoritism. Still a decent season for Boston. I wouldn’t be too worried about them.

they are the better team but def not a better goalie. Let's keep shit real ok. The panthers sucked for YEARS(LUONGO) they deserve a shot to achieve what the bruins have had since the begin of this league. I really didnt expect SHIT out of this bruins team when we lost 2 of the bst 2 way centers in the league, I also liked cassidy as a coach for this team.

Ullmark is a great goalie, but this is the time, trade him for either a top 6 forward, or 1st-2nd round, lots of teams desperate for a # 1 goalie

Marchand scored 18 goals in 2013 after scoring over 20 the two previous years. Using Brian's logic on DeBrusk, the Bruins should have not re-singed Marchand. I mean, how dare he have an off year? I mean, any winger who scores under 20 goals should be let go, not worth re-signing. Right Brian?

All he said was don’t over pay for him he didn’t say not to resign him if the price was right. Good job putting words or “logic” in his mouth. He legit never said what you’re accusing him of saying or that someone not scoring 20 goals once isn’t worth resigning. Resigning for how much is the point.. And DONT EVER compare Marchand to Debrusk again. Debrusk is a half point per game guy his whole career almost a decade in. You know what it he is, it wasn’t one “off year”. In 2013 Marchand was only an NHL regular for 3 seasons and already proved he was a big time player. JDB is an average middle six guy realistically. Bruins knew Marchand was never going to be just average after 2011

We need a stud center who can create and score and a solid Defender or another winger. We need to get this done no matter what! Please Donny, make us a REAL CUP CONTENDER not a pretender. Weak minded and physically weak this year.

JD wasn't that great in the playoffs and did nothing for most of the season. He also had a few empty netters which boosted his stats. He's been carried by Bergy and Marchy these last few seasons and has shown that he isn't the type of player to lead, create or be any kind of offensive threat. I'd rather see Potrais on the wing and have his money move to a centre
