    I agree with you.
    Prices are insane these days.
I get that Spotify and streaming in general is a big issue for musicians but ripping fans off aint the solution.

If people are daft enough to pay that kind of money for that experience, you can't blame Priest. Ultimately, people need to carry out their due diligence to know exactly what they are getting.

For $250 + tax and fees, I felt like I got ripped off. The morning of the show I was emailed and I was told to bring something to be autographed. That didn't happen. Band doesn't show..."Delayed Flight "1-2 minutes from Rob would have made it worth it.
To make things worse after we were scanned in, we were told we could not leave the building and come back in...My friends ticket was on my phone! I had to buy another ticket to get back in with my friend 😡😡 Still pissed from 3 days ago.

Do meet your heroes! I've been lucky enough to meet Rob 5 or 6 times, coming out of some of the smaller venues and chatting to the fans super nice guy!
Seen KK'S Priest 4 times too Fantastic! (Great guys again) wish they'd do this Accept tour here in the U.K. 🤘

I was close into doing the backstage experience but then I was like £230? Money's tight as it is and if I ain't meeting the band... no thank you. To try on the jackets and get on the bike would have been cool but that's all I would be interested in. Not worth £230 in my honest opinion.

I think that JP are doing this to supplement their income. With almost every band and/or artist NOT making much money from album/CD sales, they’ve got to make up for the loss somehow. This whole meet and greet thing is just how they do it. Personally, l wouldn’t spring for it for almost all the bands/artists l love. (Rare exceptions, perhaps, included.)
I agree with the fact that $450 is WAY TOO HIGH if you’re not even going to show up! At least meet a small number of fans for a few minutes. Luckily, I met some of the band, a few times, on the Painkiller tour many moons ago. I consider myself lucky to have met Rob, Glenn and KK in the early 1990s. One thing l recall is that Halford had a handshake that was “Hard As Iron!” (Sorry, couldn’t resist the pun.) But seriously, what a strong, vice-like grip The Metal God had. (And I’m sure still does.)
    Interesting show, Jack.
    Cheers from The Big Apple.
    Rock Out and Prog On!

Hey Davey, I met them once as well. There was a meet and greet at the Hard Rock in Times Square on the day that Redeemer of Souls was released, and it only cost me the price of the album. It was very brief and no photography, but I did meet Rob, Glenn, and Ritchie. Glenn wasn't very nice, the guy who said "don't meet your heroes" was right, lol. And why do you say "Disappearing", lol?

I Saw The Show In Bangor Maine. I Passed On The Backstage Experience. Was Too Pricey For Me.
The Show Was Great. Sound Could've Been Mixed Better. Sabaton Gave Them A Run For Their Money. I Am A Fan Of Both Bands. Priest Since '83. Sabaton Since The Pandemic. Well Worth The Ticket Price And Parking Fee.

@@johndiamond4088 hey, we all hear things differently. For me Invincible Shield is a very mixed bag; 3 songs that I absolutely love, 2 that I do not like, and a bunch where it seems like they stole their own riffs from other songs earlier in their catalog. How is it that Uriah Heep came out with completely new songs on their last album that really kicked ass?

All 11 tracks on Invincible Shield kick ass and it tops every album since 84s Defenders Of The Faith in my opinion out of 19 studio albums Invincible Shield is #9 which is outstanding. To each his own but DEFINITELY over 90% of Judas Priest's fan base would absolutely agree with me over you just stating the obvious
