I watched the c4 doc and the main person lives by me. They work in a large local shop. I'm not for this. No idea why some men think being a woman is easy, try working full time while having endometriosis and the docs saying its just period pain for 8 years, whilst raising 2 kids solo. Love you and your outlook.

They think it's easier and honestly being trans alone is difficult. In my humble opinion trans male to female is...idk a word for it. So people like Blaire, like Alexis true transsexuals get it. The problem here lies when they still think and have the "male mentality". As a born woman, I scan the room instinctually for exits, routy behaviors and men. Anything that can harm me without even a thought. All women do within seconds of entering any situation. Unless you have grown up this way or discover by becoming female you just don't get it! Being female is an entire way of life, mentality and vibe. You can totally see the difference between transtrenders,AGPs and true trans folks (speaking mostly on MtF)
I can't tell you how many times I've yelled at my screen, No girl!! Your man is showing! And I mean that entirely on how they act and not passability! I suppose my FtM example would be going to the gym 🏋️‍♂️ and bawling your eyes out at the free weights. I gaurentee the other men would be asking 1 of 2 things... either "Bro you good?" Or "you done with that?" Because again...gender isn't just genitals it's a mindspace. Trans people are trans in order to change the outside with how the inside is. Not to just wear a dress! Personally I think that alot of these tenders are incels who couldn't get laid or find any friends, so now they tack on a new identity and have a whole cult that will show them affection and confirm their delusions. I'm sad to say I believe that makes up about 80% if not more of the insane blue haired, commi leftys right now

“Positives of being a woman: cheaper car insurance and cleaner bathrooms”
Whilst some of the negatives of being a woman: being disproportionately affected by domestic violence, r@pe, lower pay (depending where you are), being catcalled and sexualised even as a child, I could go on.
This is so incredibly fucking offensive to women and genuine trans people. I’m hoping this is a small insane minority that channel 4 have given air time to stir up controversy.

The second one is a bogus perk because I know a lot of women who are not clean at all.
Although there are a lot of perks to being a woman like society caring more for your emotions, easier dating options (transmaxxers think like incels tbh), way more opportunities with DEI always prefering LGBTQIA+ and women over men.
Also people generally don't view as a social threat so interacting is easier (learned this from trans friends who pass)

I think you missed the majority of positives:
      - you don't need to go to army, if war happens you don't need to go there and roulette your life on battlefront -> no you are in majority safe at home
      - you can wear/do whatever the fuck you want. Wanna wear skirts? Sure knock yourself out. Want to have nice nails? no problem. If men do anything feminine, at best you get strange looks, at worst you can get death penalty in some countries. Just think how privileged you are by being allowed to do anything you want and nobody bats an eye about it!
      - female privileges are real, not only those in points above, but you get much better treatment in some cases just by being feminine. Wanna try dating as a man? I dare you. There is a video of one woman, who lived as a man 18 months, got into big depression and died in 2022 with medically helped suicide. Go look it up and be amazed! Also who do you think build houses, roads, electrical grid,...? All pretty dangerous jobs, women do not need to do or be expected to do. Lower wage? Go into STEM and I assure you, that you will have nice salary as engineer. My gf has almost 6 figures. Problem is that a lot of women do not have ANY interest in working in STEM fields. Lately this is slowly changing, but still, majority of hard and dangerous low paid jobs are still done my men. You think it is fun doing low paid job at 40C degrees outside doing physical labour? Without that, you would live in cave. Also women can get sex in matter of minutes, while a lot of men goes without physical contact for years. Look up male loneliness epidemic. If you are a man with low paid job, you have 0.01% chances any woman will date you -> 99% of women do not want to date a man who earns less than them. In history those unmarried men were usually slaves or soldiers (cannon fodder). In modern world, the only thing that is changed is that they do not wear chains.
      - while I agree that women are disproportionately affected by physical violence, men are mainly affected by psychological violence. Suicide rate is 4 times higher in men than in women... dare to think why? :)
You see feminists only fight for equal privileges and rights, but never for equal duties and responsibilities. I say this: "Equal rights - Equal fights".

That trans counselor has a very misogynistic view of "natural" women. I am a 53 year old biological woman and mother of 3 biologically male children. I have a history of PCOS, so I have weight issues, thinning hair, etc. I don't wear makeup and I dress in jeans and t-shirts. I have been married to the same man for almost 27 years. Never once did I attempt to attract a man because he was rich. I know it happens, just like there are men looking for a trophy wife. I don't think that's the norm, however, and shouldn't be someone's goal. Most of us are just doing the best we can and want to be happy and comfortable in our own skin. I think it's sad and morally wrong to encourage people, especially minors, to make permanent changes to their bodies to get some sort of perks that would be temporary at best, and as you pointed out, would ultimately cause gender dysphoria that would be harder to manage because of the permanent changes caused by the hormone replacement. You are wonderful, and entitled to your feelings and opinions, so don't apologize for them❤

Julia frustrated me. I'm a woman and I don't go out hunting men who have lots of money just to be financially secure - that sounds like something incels say. Absolutely none of my friends in long term relationships/married picked a man for money. In some cases they actually earn more. I also don't put on a bunch of makeup every day with the goal of attracting a man. In fact, it's so rare I wear any makeup (and given my favourite choice of clothes is jeans, a tshirt and hoodie I don't go out of my way to look "girly" and attractive all the time) that if I do need some for a wedding or whatever I have to buy new stuff as the old stuff is dried up. If someone doesn't like me for who I am then that's their problem - I'm not spending loads of money and taking massive amounts of time every day just to impress a man and fit some men's stereotype of what a woman should be. The whole thing reeks of incel thoughts to me.

The stereotypes go on and on and it’s revolting. Female women have been set back 60 years in the last 5 years. They’re not moving away from stereotypes, they’re leaning into them as hard as possible. And I can’t help but notice that it’s female women experiencing the brunt of that treatment. And side note: I loved being pregnant and modern medicine makes child birth as easy as it can possibly be. My greatest accomplishment and purpose has been raising my daughter. To be fair, some women do. It's not uncommon. It's not exactly classy...but not everyone is classy. If you really understand how to take advantage of womanhood and if you look fit enough, it can be very powerful. I've met some young women who "get it", and they managed to weasel their way into pretty amazing situations. High powered people, money, exclusive locations, all free, that kind of thing. I think the secret is that they figured out quite a lot about mens' feelings towards beautiful women, and were able to exploit that. They "played the role".

    • @sparagmos4748
      @sparagmos4748 7 месяцев назад

@@geometerfpv2804 of course it happens, but I would imagine it's not particularly common. The price is that it's essentially prostitution - those women will be expected to f those rich men they glom on to.
The problem with this 'transmaxxing' is similar to a lot of transing in that it is playing up to sex stereotypes and assumptions.
I saw this documentary and this man seemed a very mundane personality, essentially harmless, but the attitude really just reinforces the idea that women are dependent on men and use their sexuality to maintain men's continued goodwill🫤

Since the whole trans debate started making waves in 2018-2019(?), I've been of the mindset that the ones that are going run away with this, causing the most problems/harm, are those men that are claiming this disorder for their own personal gain. Most especially for those sick predators out there trying to have a presumed justified excuse to be in private women's spaces. Because they want immediate, uninhibited access to women.
I genuinely feel sorry and have compassion for those who have the true diagnosed disorder, such as Alexis, Blair, and Buck. This can't be an easy thing to come to terms with and how to go about your life, and I so appreciate hearing from them for their takes on these situations, as they all have displayed truth and rationality.
Those that obviously DON'T actually have GD have proven to be misogynists that are the epitome of toxic masculinity and narcissism. Which is clearly demonstrated by their high aggression levels, deflection, lies, and gaslighting.
There are plenty of others who have been infected with this trans mentality as a social contagion cause. Social media and twisted "influencers" make all this look cool, amazing, and fun to the point that kids will claim they are something else just to be a part of the group. They don't want to be socially isolated by their peers. In the 90's and 2000s, the D.A.R.E campaign was against peer pressure to do drugs. This is the peer pressure campaign challenge for this decade. Don't fall victim to the sirens song.

Transitioning for the perks that females receive instead of the gender you truly feel you identity with I find very problematic. As women there are reasons we have our own spaces and I guess “perks?” (I don’t like that word) because we are biologically different. Most trans women understand that because they identity as women and respect it. And as women we know it’s not always better or easier to be women financially, medically, dating etc. so I’m not sure where these thoughts are coming from. I find it very telling if you just to transition because want perks you claim women have and the society just accepts it…. Yes it is harmful to the trans community and to women as a whole…ugh… but I love how honest and open you are, you are always the voice of reason and I really appreciate your thoughts and views! Your eye lashes and hair look amazing today btw! 😊❤ ❤

Then along came the NB's and gender fluid who said my gender is whatever I say it is on any given day or moment in time. Then you have the neo pronouns who identify as animals, faeries, aliens, demons, clowns-whatever they dream up. Now the transmaxxers further undermine the argument of this is just who we are, we don't choose it, by not even having any dysphoria, they DO choose it. So I have to agree when they ask "who is it hurting?" , it hurts the legitimacy of the community at large in the court of public opinion.

Alexis, I 'm not trans, but I wanted to be. I have been dealing with dysphoria for many years now, but I manage it the best I can. I'm well into my 40's and I'm unlikely to be able to transition due to money and the fact that my friends, parents and brother would never accept it if I told them. I certainly don't feel how Sammy does! Transitioning; as you said is about aleaviating dysphoria, not gaining any "benefits".As I understand it, being a trans woman is hard, not easy. Recently I was thinking how so many other trans women youtubers have talked about how transitioning works; having to go talk to a pyschologist for a year, and having to dress as woman for a year, having to take estrogen for the rest of their lives, and getting breast implants, if fat transfer isn't an option and getting the "bottom" surgery.
I wonder if I could make it as a trans woman, and I'm not sure I could. I have cross dressed in public, but I always wore a dress I bought at a Goodwill, and put make up that I bought at dollar store. It's hard to LOOK feminine! I can only imagine how it is to be a trans woman everyday and get insults and snide remarks. You said it; as a trans woman you can lose your friendships, and your relationships with your parents and any siblings. Sammy Is trying to "benefit" from transitioning because she didn't feel or look "masculine". I never felt or looked all that masculine when I was younger, but it wasn't totally about how I felt about how I looked, but identifying with women and wanting to one. It wasn't about "I'm not masculine enough to get a girlfriend, so I'll transition and try to attract guys". That thought process is very dumb and juvenile. Sammy is transitioning for the wrong reasons.

People will turn to illegal or more unsafe methods of transitioning if the proper care is not there. Waiting lists for an intake can be years, and psychological evaluations can be incredibly invasive and extensive. There is a gatekeeping problem. But any best treatment should always be discussed between a patient and their doctor, maybe even with a second opinion. And of course a psychological evaluation sounds like a good idea, but if you are 30 years old, it doesn't do the therapist any good to know how you felt when you were 5 years old and have them tell you your entire life's story. These conversations can be a lot more directed and less time-consuming than that...

@@jeffafa3096 what I mean by gatekeeping is that this is a permanent solution to what could be a temporary problem it needs to be strict. The waiting lists are so long because of people seeking procedures they don't need.

Thanks for your view. It's people like you, I fought for since childhood to be accepted and not bullied or physically attacked. And seeing your view, keeps me continuing. I struggled a lot seeing all this aggressive, delusional, activists and started to feel hate towards trans in general because of them and had to fight against that upcoming generalising feeling because I knew deep down, it's not the genuine transsexuals who feel and act this way. And this is exactly what JK Rowling meant with her first tweet. JK Rowling knows this activists protected by politics not only hurt women but also the genuine transsexuals. Same applies to Graham Linehan. Seeing the bullying, threads, cancellation, hatred towards people like these two, who just speak out the obvious facts is devastating. Also the genuine transpeople receiving hate, bullying, threats etc. For calling these activists out is absolutely disgusting and utterly concerning. I, for my part, am once more, thanks to your view, hopeful, convinced and savvy to do the right thing when standing for real trans rights, as well as homosexuals. But it needs the genuine trans community, gays, lesbians and Bis to call this inacceptable behaviour and trend out. Otherwise it could start getting back to the past when this community was chased by authorities and arrested for just feeling different. The public is already fed up with, especially because of all the bills governments passed to protect those aggressors, not much is needed anymore to get the generalised hatred back into people's heads and all the good for over decades was for nothing. It really needs the combined force of the genuine trans community, gays, lesbians, Bis, and heterosexuals to call them out and out and put an end to it. These people have utterly concerning psychological disorders that need to be treated with behavioural and other therapies. But it's not a gender related issue. By the way, your someone I would address to as she/her, woman the moment interacting with, because if you wouldn't tell me, I wouldn't know you were a man. Even after knowing, I'd keep addressing you with she/her/Ms. Woman. So that's that when it comes to pronouns. I'm sure JK Rowling would do so too. YES! The reverse gender dysphoria is EXACTLY what I have been pointing out to people. I always thought it should be about the body. When we refer to "gender" as a concept outside of sex, we might as well be referring to gender stereotypes. How you align with those stereotypes is your "gender expression". If gender and sex are seperate, which I think they are, someone can be a feminine man and a masculine woman and NOT be trans. The difference is the dysphoria, which clinically sounds like a type of body dysmorphia. However, the clinical description, though it mentions the mismatch, doesn't specify that this dysphoria has to be dysmorphic. Due to that lack of clinical distinction, people are saying that you can be a guy that's 100% okay with your body physically but mentally feel "like a woman" and therefore transition. In reality, since he lacks the body dysmorphia, he's probably just an efiminate gay man, which is 100% okay. Look at Jeffery Star- perfect example of someone who likes woman's fashion and is 100% comfortable with the fact that he's a dude. When you put a gay man or lesbian woman on hormones, they begin to experience dysmorphia/dysphoria, and that triggers them to detransition.
If you happen to catch this comment, what do you think about it?

I'm with you. I saw this the other day and wasn't sure how widespread it is, but there are tons of RUclips videos on transmaxxing. It is not easier being a woman, just different. And we have difficult things including our lack of physical strength against a man if assaulted, and there's that thing where the men only talk to each other in our presence. It's fine, I know they ones who think I should go make them a sandwich, but what a shallow view to take as justification for transitioning.

I watched this documentary a week or two ago, and after calming down from laughing myself into tears at the thought of men transitioning to the 'second' sex for the 'benefits' I honestly just ended up feeling bad for our poor, misled protagonist. I honestly think they have serious mental health issues that may or may not include gender dysphoria. I believe as a male they hated what they viewed as the male ideal of masculinity and that morphed into them hating their male form. I don't think that is rooted in gender dysphoria, but I think it is a gender issue. I think they hated the type of male they perceived themself to be and found some internet ideology that spoke to them. But I also wonder what if they really genuinely has gender dysphoria but it's easier for them to use this ridiculous ideology than explain gender dysphoria to people? What if this whole 'transmaxing' is being used as a veil to hide behind as to some it is easier to say they are doing it for 'perks' and not because of gender dysphoria? But overall it just has the reek of incel ideology behind it and personally I'd rather them dress up like girls claiming to be trans than going on killing sprees that target women.

Now I don't see why people couldn't transition just to be the best athlete in the women's section. It could benefit your life, recognition can give you fame, fame can give you sponsors and money and you could even go pro in your chosen sport.
I hate that people are doing these things and making it harder for actual trans individuals like yourself and women who can lose opportunities and their safety.

An example of transmaxxing, I've heard is from a podcast called GirlDad Girls and one interview on there that stuck out like a sore thumb is Episode 12. Basically this was a father who was cross dressing at young age had no signs of gender dysphoria, but decided to come out his wife while married that he was trans and his wife was heartbroken felt she was stabbed in the heart after I was listening to the whole thing. Yes, he transition, but still has a guy voice and his kids still call him dad dad to this very day. It's truly sad in my opinion and I felt more for the wife since she was probably truly hurt and no empathy from her husband and he went into depression etc, but still has that emotional scar to this day.

Ok so 6 mins in & just had to side the video.
So, I am a Biological woman (yes biological not cis) & I am absolutely just lost for words.
This is honestly just diabolically wrong on so many levels. This is going to put genuine Trans people in so much danger it’s crazy.
People that do this need to be charged with a crime. This needs to be stopped ASAP and made criminal.
There are already so many ‘Genuine’ Trans people that deal with backlash from people who either don’t understand the Trans Community, Don’t want to understand the TC or just straight up can’t stand the TC.
So now there are people like this, opening admitting they are only doing it for ‘The Perks’ it is going to put genuine Trans people in so much danger because the people who just hate the TC are going to just use this as an excuse to be able to call all Trans people they encounter fake, frauds etc etc.
ugh, why do so many people have to be so selfish and entitled. I’m genuinely scared for the effect this is going to have on the actual Trans Community and actual Trans people.
This is just so f***ing wrong and needs to be stopped before it gets out of hand.
Seriously, is happening to this world.
This is really scary because I can just see how it will get used as (a weapon) an excuse to be able to stop Trans Women from using the female spaces by saying the Trans person is not really Trans and are just pretending they are Trans so they can get in female spaces an probably get to young girls etc etc.
I hope I am making sense in my comment. As I’m just really annoyed at this so not sure if I’m actually explaining myself well enough or just rambling an not making much sense lol. So I hope if you are reading this you can at least get what I am trying to say.
I maybe should have waited to wrote this but just felt I wanted to write this comment now.
Ok, back to Alexis now. Like I say I only got 6mins in when I started writing this. 😐
To all the genuine Trans people who may read my comment, I just want to say I’m sorry that people like the ones Alexis is showing in her video even exist as I believe this is Turing you all in more danger than you’re ready in.
I know the whole world seems to be divided on one thing or another as it is. But we all need to just come together and support each other.
I’ve never understood why we are all so divided anyways. We all have loved ones we care about, we all bleed blood if we get cut and we all cry tears when we are hurt or happy.
We’ve let ourselves get divided and are happy to just fight amongst ourselves and I just wish we could see that we would be so much better off if we all just came together to help support one another rather than fight each other and tear each other down.
Ok, ok. I’ll get off my emotional ‘Soap Box’ now an get back to watching Alexis’ video.
Stay safe everyone. And I wish you all nothing but happiness and good health. 🫶🏼💖

I’ve just re-read my comment, yeah it’s not worded the best, so sorry about that. And also, there are a few words that are wrong but it’s because I use swipe to text on my phone. I can normally catch it when it puts a word I didn’t actually mean but because I was writing a, let’s call it a ‘passionate’ comment, I didn’t even check it before I posted it. I just wrote it and pressed send. lol
Soo yeah, just wanted to explain why some words are wrong but I’m sure you know what the words are meant to be so you can still read it anyway.

I'm actually starting to see this more and more across all perceived discriminated classes. For example, someone I've known since we were teens has recently declared herself as autistic. This is someone who has navigated through society just fine for half a century, so even if she has some autism traits (Incidentally she has less than my family members do) they haven't affected her to such an extent that she has struggled with what society demands of us. However, she seems to believe that she can claim extra assistance (and likely extra sympathy) or at least use it as an excuse not to do anything about her own issues if she can blame someone or something else instead.
I find this kind of thing abhorrent because it makes a mockery of those who are genuinely in need of this support and those genuine people don't seek to be in that position.

If you don't love yourself how do you expect others to love you. If this person wanted to look manly, why didn't he do bodybuilding, grow a beard etc, don't need to transition for that.

I get why they would do this with preferential treatment in hiring practices and all the identity politics junk, but it's more a disservice and slap in the face to people with gender dysphoria. This is why self identification is running rampant and can cause harm for those who go through proper systems with therapy. People say gatekeeping is bad, but the way I see it, it's keeping the people who actually need it safe.

It is not like changing jobs. I would be a recipe for emotional disaster for someone who is not transgender. They, if they really exist, are not part of the trans community. This does hurt and makes our journey harder. I wish I wasn't this way, I wish I didn't have to go through all of this. It is not a joke; it is our lives. Stories like this make me sick. I think it would bring such a calming and more sensitive view of all of the issues surrounding the trans community. You bring people together with sense and dignity and really if people like you could be the focal point, there would be so much more understanding and respect for the trans community in these highly contentious discussions. You're the best, and as always you look beautiful in every video.

She seems to be very angry from what I see in that few minutes. As a woman I’m angry for you and all the genuine trans women who have gone through such a hard journey to finally be who they are for her to say the maxing is the same as what you n others went through. 1. Love your natural hair and think it looks good how you styled it. 2. This is what makes "cis" women mad, and honestly, more so should be. 3. Each sex has pros and cons. Pretending to be a woman for the perks denies all of the inherent struggles each woman has faced since the beginning of time. And it makes "woman" a costume. 4. You're absolutely right about loving yourself first. People can sense insecurity and desperation and negativity. So if you want a healthy, loving relationship, you need to work on yourself first. 5. People with true dysphoria should be outraged at this as well, since it's playing into the narrative that you're just playing "dress up". 6. There's a lyric in a song I like that says, "True friends will stab you in the face." Meaning, true friends will tell you the truth even if it hurts. "Support" does NOT mean always agreeing and affirming someone.

Honestly, seems like a lot of hoops to jump through for a "benefit", and the benefits are severely outweighed by the drawbacks as any trans person can attest to. This is likely just a justification to make transitioning easier to accept. Internalized transphobia is a hell of a thing. Ceicocat has a wonderful video discussing the "Incel to Trans Pipeline".

To each thier own, but as a trans woman and a counsellor as well, I cant understand how this wouldnt CAUSE dysphoria. For such a long time, even after tramsition, I was scared to use womans spaces, so to 'transmaxx' just to get onto bathrooms I feel enforces rhe stereotype that transwomen only want to get i to bathroom and sports etc. Very confused by this, but as a counsellor, would love to talk to a transmaxxer to pick their brain to get a better understanding

Some people really do not understand women at all. I'm sure there are some women who are looking for men to take care of them financially. But, I think the majority of women work outside the home (at least in North America, where I live). Even in cases where a couple decides that one person will stay at home, likely to take care of children, there is still a shared workload. That is, there is value in the work done at home and value in the work done outside the home. Seems to me that 'transmaxxing' is thinking that 'the grass is greener on the other side of the fence'.
