Hello Everyone! CHINATOWN 4K has finally been announced by Paramount! This long-awaited title is finally on the way, but will it be as good as we all hope it will? Paramount Presents is including THE TWO JAKE'S, where as ZAVVI is including some art cards and a poster.
Will there be a better, more definitive edition down the line, or is this the best the fans are going to get?

I used to think that The Shining was Nicholson's best movie until I watched Chinatown. Definitely a must buy.

Paramount Presents releases are pretty cool, flip-out cover preferable to a poster, and both films... a win win!

I'm stoked for the Paramount Presents version with Two Jakes. Normally I'm a purist for the cover, but we do get the fold out original poster.

I'm probably going to go the extra $10 and get the UK box set. I don't need no Jakes but I'm a sucker for a sweet box set for great films.

The problem is once the Paramount Presents goes OOP, Paramount will most likley release a standard with the original art on the slip. Then I'll be forced to buy that and sell off the PP. Same is gonna happen with .. Once Upon a Time in the West 4K.

I ordered the UK release because it is coming with separately theatrical poster !

I'm still undecided... I prefer the Zaavi one, but the price difference has me leaning towards Paramount...
If Zaavi's did OG artwork, I would have spent more without question.
