If you want to see someone more skilled than me using the same class item to solo 2-phase Raneiks watch this video right here: ruclips.net/video/ipsXmg8lkAc/видео.htmlsi=VKXQVjnE_IiKwOrq
Thanks so much for linking my video! Great to see Foe/StarEater working well at Puppeteer, I'll have to try that when I'm running in a team (but going for Inmost/Cyrtarachne currently for solo survival strats)
Decent, down-to-earth, well explained video. Refreshing to see something lead off with realistic expectations and a breakdown on an alternative without resorting to a click bait title.
Great vid. I run two foe/cyrt builds, one stasis focussed (similar to yours) and one void focussed (weaken, devour and overshield + 4x damage). Enough flexibility between them to cover so many activities
@WStormborn Outside of the dungeon I was mixing dark and light weapons and abilities for quicker Transcendence. Void and Stasis mix is my favorite. The Slammer and a duskfield, with Choir and a smoke for example. So fun. Especially with Gyrfalcon. Liars is also good. I imagine synthos would be too but I dont have that roll yet.
Same for me. On stasis/duskfield I swapped out Slammer for Ill Omen with enhanced cold steel / attrition orbs - the caster range and close-quarters and radiolaria is very strong and prints orbs. For light damage, i double up a caster Ergo Sum (arc conductor) or choir of one or aberrant action (heal and demo or incandescent) or a decent pulse/scout. So many options
Came to this video after watching Glacier's video. I'm currently tweaking both his and your builds to my preferences as well as trying to make a hybrid build for the whole dungeon. What would you recommend as a good stat split as with 100 resilience and discipline I'm not sure if I should prioritise mobility or strength as I'll be using marksman's dodge for insta reloads during damage. I've tried a balanced setup with 50 in both but idk if I need to prioritise mobility and use my shuriken less often, prioritise strength and just make sure I have a dodge ready or maybe stick with what I have and let transcendence do the ability energy for me. I've also considered dropping facet of mending for hope for faster dodges and going all in on strength. What do you think?
@@marcant6223 I think due to the fact that it's such a long damage phase it's better to go with Gamblers for more radiant procs. Reloading manually gives you time to breathe and re-situate anyways and you can always use the Concussive reload tonic for auto-reloading everything anyways. That said, the 70 mobility I have here is plenty for gamblers when needed which is pretty rare anyways because we got 2 shurikens and Transcendence to make stats & ability uptime irrelevant. Protection, Purpose are key to survive and Ruin and Dawn are key for damage so that really only leaves 1 free fragment. I went Awakening but if I went Goldie I'd use Courage instead, but if you are really interested in supplementing automafic reloads go Facet of Command instead. Free reloads on freezes, and shards for melee energy (plus class with the artifact mod that I cant remember the name of).
@@stonemason83 Hadn't thought about it that way, thank you. I'll give it a go. Would you consider gamblers dodge plus high mobility the better option for the 1st boss too or do you think I should stick with the setup in Glacier's video in which case I'd keep the reload dodge.
@@marcant6223 I used this same build for Raneiks with Dimensional Hypotrochoid with Envious Assassin. If EA wasn't bugging out right now I don't think you would ever need to reload but because it's not overflowing like it did before, a Marksman's Dodge would probably be better there - but still, Mobility isn't gonna matter because you just need to save yourself 1 dodge. I think as long you got tier 5-7 mobility you will be fine on any dodge. The stats are only marginally beneficial and more so for neutral gameplay than damage phases. Facet of Hope is an incredible fragment on something like Gifted Conviction with Marksman's dodge for literally permanent amplified, but outside of that it's not going to be the catalyst that makes or breaks a build such as this one - if that makes any sense.
@@stonemason83 So take the higher mobility but without sacrificing too much strength just in case and swap between marksman's and gamblers dodge depending on the situation? I think I like the sound of that. I'll consider swapping the flex fragment out per your suggestion and go with what I feel is best. Thank you.
Thank god I didn’t dismantle that cloak that was one of the first rolls I got on my cloak and I knew it was busted it’s just that it came out when still hunt golden gun was at its peak

This! I have been thinking about this build for the past week since I got the vs chill and bungie disabled teather
I can’t believe tether is *still* disabled. Feels bad.
Nice explanation on the buff rotations, thank you!
perfect dark music
Didn’t even know I had this cloak lol, gonna have to try this out
People sleep so hard on spirit of the foetracer. I used that and cyrtarachne last season and abused it to hundreds of GM clears.
If I wasn't too busy getting GMs over with on Consecration slams last season I would have given it a shot there. Makes a ton of sense.
For GMs I use smoke bomb and a void energy slot weapon. Same idea. But what you have - full stasis - makes total sense for dungeon boss damage.

I literally just got spirit of the foetracer/star eater class item to drop just now. Man, what a drop lol
I’ve got a foetracer/star eater on me just for when I’m about to enter damage phase
Does time dilation extend your timer?
@@Jaydizzzle I havent tested it myself but I don't believe so since it doesn't interac with armor charge in any way.
@stonemason83 dang that would be awesome if it could. 😭
@@Jaydizzzle yeah 10 seconds is really short. thats why stasis is so good for it though, the damage over time stasis abilities keep refreshing it.
That’s weird I always run silkstrike on the puppeteer
Whats the 56 percent in the thumbnail have to do with it?
foe tracer and radiant (1.25 X 1.25)

This would be dope to run if I could get a Chill Inhibitor to drop 😂😂😂 literally stay getting double armor 😅
by the time you get one maybe Bungie will have fixed the perk weighting as well and you can actually get the illusive god roll of envious/bait
What’ve you got in you Chill Inhibitor? Beast gameplay.
Edit: nvm I saw.
No one is talking about this but Foetracer does not work on solar.
@@DarkGasPack The OG Foetracer on Gunslinger? Or do you mean the Spirit version on prismatic with solar abilities?
