its easier than you think for Helldrake symbols look at the highlighted symbols on the wall, match to the ground ones, and BOOM, Helldrake staggered. no order, no pattern needed
Symbols don't have to be pressed in any particular order, so long as you hit the right ones. Also I have seen the tactical with the grenade launcher auspexs and pump and dump the helldrake in one shot. It was amazing, didn't know it could be done.
Did my lethal runs on tactical with plasma + auspex damage build and it was easy the only annoying part was yes the servo skull part but overall not too bad the helldrake fight took 1 phase with auspex less than 30s basically, the symbol order doesn't matter as long as you get them all right Edit: I did all my lethal runs with randoms but sure it would be easier with a full stack on coms
The servitor bit should not be so damn long, the dialogue in it also lasts wayyyyy too long for a repeatable operation. They also need to fix the buggy hitboxes of the helldrake firebreath while hiding behind the supposedly safe pillars
For the symbols, I've never actually done them in any specific order, just whatever one I see first gets grabbed. It's nearest to me then the ones further away and neither have my teammates that I ran with as well for the harder difficulty runs.
The only team up I wouldn't recommend is assault and bulwark, having two of your team with no access to primary weapons can ruin a run against chaos, especially if a helbrute spawns since most people can't duel them well
That damn bridge run is one of the places that you really SHOULD run through. It's a gauntlet. That means that it will keep pounding you till you leave. I don't know how many times I've run out of ammo trying to fight off enemies with teammates that won't freaking MOVE. That seems to me to be another difference between Chaos and Tyrranid missions...you'd think it would be the other way around, but Chaos tends to mob you to death if you aren't careful.
Obelisk and Atreus are similar. You just need to MOVE. It's so infuriating seeing teammates trying to finish off every enemy. Even worse when they don't kill a sorcerer and it just spams more and more rubricae marines.
I normally do not comment on videos but Operation Reliquary is/will/would be an "exception". Wall of text incoming. TLDR: Confidence, Knowledge (map, items placements etc.), Competency and Luck can be one success or downfall. All my Operations game are played with randoms. When Lethal first came out I was carried on this operation. Subsequent attempts to "complete" it was deemed as "not really" due to joining game halfway or a similar situation as before. Had 2 full runs ended in failure due to teammates not really knowing what to do, dying repeatedly and/or giving up. From all these experiences my understanding is that the difference in opinion on HOW to run the Op is the main reason for failure (as seen in Original Poster lamenting spliting up while Yeertski is fine with it depending on situation). My "solution" is kinda a combination of both methods, especially for the bridge section: Stand ground, kill a certain amount of enemies that will result in giving team confidence to advance. Repeat process till the last stretch cause the main priority WILL be to sprint for the cathedral door. If everyone know what to do and is competent (like recognise which button to actually press in boss fight) this operation is doable. Class picks and synergy can of course play a factor in this matter.
During the Heldrake bridge sequence if one player makes it to the two "checkpoints", being the large structure you have to walk around and the large building that has stairs leading up when you leave, the Heldrake will no longer be blazing the previous section. So if your assault or vanguard is a little close, your squaddies are pinned at the bridge, you can trigger the Heldrake to move on and thus allow your teammates to advance.
If you get stuck on the bridge with waves it’s almost GG if you’re with randoms. I’ve tried pings & everything but some players try to fight everything on the bridge regardless
Literally completed it just five minutes ago. So much sweat and there were three times when i was the last one standing with multiple terminus level enemies alive and spawning. Still managed to clutch through💪
problem with chaos missions is there is like no way you get health back after being chipped to death on higher missions for the average player, in quickplay, unless you have a veteran bulwurk, but the bulwurk nerfs themselves a lot as they have not a ton of great answers in their match ups against the range units / sorcerers.
Bro same! Although as a vanguard main, now that I am trying to level up Heavy I have noticed just how important vanguard is when it comes to drawing agro from heavies. I joined a game with a level 15 vanguard that made me pull out my hair lmao, he was literally just ignoring all of the majoris enemies and trying to cut down hordes with a chainsword. Every time I would try to do my job as heavy I would have like 3-4 majors focus me while our vanguard was busy fighting smaller groups of minors. I never realized how important a good vanguard is and how much easier I was making it for my team when I was doing my job.
There are only 2 problems with reliquary. 1. There is no ammo on the bridge on lethal (and sometimes ruthless) 2. The enemies are completely immune to the fire and you have to stand in a small 5 foot space to avoid it, so during the bossfight if the spawns line up you are just stuck getting mowed down by ranged damage with no reliable way to avoid unless you have a sheild, halo, or cloak up. And it happens constantly 😂
It more this level is a casual player death trap. Not because they are bad gamers but because literally everything that can make a player who has no knowledge of the level is going to immediately become a liability for the team. When you play with people who have played it before and don’t have an all range or all melee team it’s not that bad but it’s still the hardest mission besides the elevator one.
it took me probably like, 3 or 4 games to get pass the Reliquary Lethal as an Tactical due to team setup, the difficulties, the bridge and expect the unexpected situation, like you just ran out of nades and they already spawn flying disk birds and Termies (lol) At the last game, me and my teammate managed to cleared the Helldrake, after knock it down quick with my auxpect and nades onto it's head. I was surprised that it blew up it's health bar within 10s that fast lol
yea i hate how ppl keep crying about tac's noobtube like it's infinite ammo. miss a few shot or get unlucky with too many spawns and you're out of ammo. the heavy can just keep spamming plasma next to ammo crate with no issue. it's sad that the devs want to change noobtube. tacs are supposed to be glass cannons with zero defensive skills but the other guns are alot weaker while heavy has 3 s-tier primaries plus various defensive options.
Back when Tight formation was in the game, this mission was a pain. Despite that, people were still trying to split. It's not that bad now, but I can see why.
I got lucky with a good team on Reliquary and got it done after only 3 tries. Terminators aren't as bad when you learn the parry timing for the melee one, but the rocket spam on the other is still really difficult for me to find the dodge timings for. Vox Liberatis actually took the longest for me simply because I couldn't connect to anyone on lethal for it. Either no one was playing it or i was having connection issues. Had to solo it with Heavy.
The symbols all look the same to me cause I have something like dyslexia. All symbols for which I do not know the meaning look like nonsense and I cant differentiate between them. Makes this level 100% unplayable for me. In theory I could rely on somebody else to do it, but in practice relying on other people to do anything at all is a pretty much guaranteed failure.
I feel like you forget that if your teammates run ahead you literally get stuck with the amount of spawns on the bridge. Its crappy even if you know how to handle yourself and it keeps progress from going as long as you are alive, and some people really dont want an incapacitation on their record by the end of the round.
Im probably not the average player when i say this, but i think lethal over all is pretty "easy" on all missions or smooth going at the very least. Its more rare for me to fail than succeed the missions. I think a lot of the time people need to learn the basic of how to keep up the armor at all time without heal, I rarely need heal since i try to always focus on getting armor from the smaller mobs so my health doesn't take dmg. However i agree Reliquary is the hardest one. So what i have done with randoms on the bridge (seem to be the biggest struggle) is always let the heldrake kill/dmg the waves on the bridge first then finish them of the ones that are alive then run to the "check-point"/the big buildings and kill all the enemies there and then let heldrake do its thing again against the waves on the bridge and repeat until u reach the end. Just stay together and wipe each check-point and it should be fine. I have succeeded this mission on lethal with both Maxed out Tac with Scan+Nade launcher as well with example lvl4 vanguard. I think its more about knowing how to keep ur armor up than actually just killing.
Did all my runs on lethal random and I abandoned any Amory data unless it randomly came across it . But ngl was super fun doing lethal. Only one that was a pain was the hive tyranid one I got eliminated at the beginning of the fight and my assault and sniper fighter for there lives till the assault had its final down n down n sniper went to rush to pick up until snipe got down literally at that same moment the assault player left immediately when we should have ended and the bot assault picked up the sniper player and my man clutch a 1v1 with boss and finished it with a cost of a sacrifice loweky was a stressful moment but glad I finally got my survivors helm
I do hate when people run way too far though on the bridge when we just got in a space and all the mobs are already there tho. Like clear the mobs a bit and keep moving not just run while being ripped apart. See that happen way too much
A group of randoms and I cleared it easy first time ever on lethal. I was running vanguard with a tactical and heavy. I hate chaos missions but I always play way better against them. Inferno is my issue on lethal for whatever reason 🥴
Inferno can be pretty rough at the open section after finding the codes. Soooo many ranged Warriors spawn, especially snipers. The defense sequence can also get hectic if you get bogged down and don't get them off the generators. I legit didn't even know you could fail that section until the other day.
Tacticals please PLEASE stop noob tubing all the Majoris so we can get some armor and health back. Kill like one maybe two but when you guys wipe the ENTIRE group of Majoris there aren't any left for armor or heals for the team/banner.
that's my post! I'm u/Brungala! Thanks for making a video about this!
About the helldrake fight. There isnt an order to which you have to press the buttons. Just so long as they are highlighted.
Exactly 💯, what is he talking about top bottom left to right. Just hit the correct symbols.
Wait.....are there people who think they have to be hit in a specific order?!?!?
This is by far the hardest operation, the enemies respawn almost 20 seconds everytime plus the horde. 😢
its easier than you think for Helldrake symbols
look at the highlighted symbols on the wall, match to the ground ones, and BOOM, Helldrake staggered. no order, no pattern needed

For anyone that is confused about the Symbols... the order doesn't matter. Only that they are the CORRECT symbols.

I didn’t have to much trouble with this one on lethal, but the newest chaos operation they’ve added has been the bane of my existence
The order of the symbols don't matter, just gotta hit the right ones. Problem is people panic and don't look carefully enough

It was the last one I managed to do on lethal and I've not touched the map since.

For me I thought I’d get destroyed but I was vanguard and my teammates where cohesive

You also get kicked for help people as well you carry the gene seed they quit or kick you out 4000 plus exp
Been spending most of my time being maxed out on lower difficulties teaching the neophytes and showing them the ropes.

I’m just happy I completed the HellDrake operation before they added the UFO chaos enemy

U can do it solo wit tac gl, not too hard if yk how to upkeep grenades
Either I’m just the emperors chosen or the five has blessed my las fusil… this was a blitz, I found fall of Atreus to be the hardest

Tip 1: Ditch Assault for Lethal Reliquary. Idk how I did it. But god never again. (Without skipping the bridge)
I beat it with my buddy, I was a vanguard and he was a bulwark. The random that joined us was alright. I think he was assault.

for me the second mission was a pain as the boss second life does more damage
It can be done the one who picks up the cup is the one to mark the path as i do team work brother s
dont know played sniper while tight formation was still there git it 1. row with randoms las gun is kinda strong
never touched it again since then
