Toughest gun laws in the country are in California. Elected leaders say tougher gun laws are needed. That way, we can empower the Mexican cartels with a new black market to enrich themselves upon. Surly the shooters in this case had legal registered firearms. As the bullets were leaving the chamber, all they could be concerned about was the legality of their actions.

Used to live in Sacramento during the 90s it wasn't a safe place to be downtown after midnight hours there is so much crazy stuff happening near the capitol building I moved 2 years afterwards.

You have overlooked the issue of the easy availability of guns by almost anyone. If there weren't so many of them, we wouldn't have as much gun violence, it's simple math.

Sue gun manufacturers for people's individual actions. Yeah, that sounds about right. CA legislature has lost its mind. Can we also start sueing fast food restaurants for making people obese and eventually killing them? Since the number one killer in this country is heart disease and obesity doesn't that make sense then? There are laws in place that work well for firearm purchasing if the stores follow them which everyone I shop at does. As a 39 year old, I can't imagine still going to clubs. It has probably been 12-14 years since I've gone to one.

A stolen gun was recovered, Now I don't care for guns at all I think they are made to kill someone or thing. But maybe we should concentrate on gangs and those weapons first instead of people that have them legally. Making it harder for them to get is only going to affect law-abiding people, not criminals. About the only law I see that would help and should be passed are gun safes if you own a gun.

So despite being in the state with the toughest gun laws in the nation and already having virtually all the proposed laws in place to prevent this from happening, it still happened. What about the shooters? Was it targeted? Victims of gang violence? Were the guns obtained illegally? We need this information before we do something that ultimately doesn’t help the situation. Focusing on why these things happen are just as important, if not more than what’s used to make this happen. Because saying guns are the sole issue here is only a small fragment of the larger picture here.

So sad, he has a wife and four kids. This makes me so sad. I always have nightmares of someone shooting into a crowd that I’m in and it’s the scariest thing ever. I rarely go out because just eating at a mall food court gives me bad anxiety, too many people moving, talking just too much going on for me. They need to stop letting these violent inmates out on parole because I keep seeing it end bad. Bless this man and his cousin and heal his family, along with the other 4 victims. ❤️

Terrible law against the manufacturers. Since criminals are not the focus, the legitimate people are easier for them to blame. Sad. My mom was murdered by a physician in malpractice; negligence. We couldn’t sue him. What about that?
