- The investigation continues into a mass shooting in downtown Sacramento that killed 6 people. Report Velena Jones shows us new video that could help police determine what lead up to the shooting.
This generation of criminals are the dumbest in human history. It’s unbelievable. They’ll throw their own life away for 5 minutes of fame. Absolute Anarchy.

This is a direct effect of hundreds of years of human rights violations and genocide insidiously perpetuated by those in power and backed by the United States Government.
What this state needs is Law and Order, not a bunch of liberal prosecutors that enable this behavior by being light on crime. If part of the culture of being a gang member is getting street Kred by going to jail than being more respected when you get out. The current laws allow for the gang members to commit more heinous crimes and get out allowing for higher amounts of street/ gang violence. Hence Do more/ worse crimes + shorten jail time = More respect on the street and more ( Scarier ) to rival gang members !

They do time, they get the credit and then they might move up in rank or respect or whatever. That would ruin the “plan”. ….. the plan is to take away all our guns but leave the guns in these guys hands (because we all know these guys illegally owned the guns) so we need the people in power to help us all. Leaving us at the mercy of the people in power and they can take advantage of us more than they already are. Think of how much more taxes they could take if we are all fearing for our own lives and no way to protect ourselves. We would need to actually rely on them for protection. Fear provides cash. The more we fear, the more we will pay to feel safe.

@@qolspony Since 2013, there has been over 250 "mass shootings" in California. Which, a mass shooting by the logical data sheets say "4 or more people shot in the same location, at the same time." That could mean Triple Homicide+Suicide, or someone did a drive by and hit 4 random people in the legs/arms with just grazing wounds. Doesnt mean killed, just "injured by firearm projectile", of course.
California is #1, because SoCal is full of urban sprawn with massive gangs. IL is next in line with more than 210 in the same time period. Though, SoCal is probably considered a "safer" place than IL because most all of IL's violence comes from JUST chicago. Where as SoCals is from multiple densely populated mega cities. Actual terror events are extremely rare. Though, the mass shooting statistic used to only be considered when it was a terrorist attack, but they changed the nomenclature within the last 20 years due to increasing pushes for gun control.

The aim of a mass shooter before this new definition was redefine was someone who sought attention for their action. So that's why the media started toning down the publicity of these type of shooting. Its like taking away the reward.
But still, growing up in the 1980s. These type of shootings, no matter how many people died or was shot, was known as Mass shootings.

It was hardly used up until the 2000s, someone did a deep dive and they said in 1980 it was mentioned a whole two times, compared to [2016] that year where it was mentioned over 800 times in the media. The largest media groups are largely left leaning(dems/leftist/progs) and gun control is fairly high on the agenda. In 1995 eric holder did a press conference when talking about a gun initiative bill. He said:
"We have to be repetitive about this. It’s not enough to have a catchy ad on a Monday and then only do it Monday. We need to do this every day of the week, and just really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way."
That wasnt the start of the push for gun control as you probably know, but thats when they turned to using he media. He used the term Brainwashing, which many people find very harsh. Really he was talking about, and they further went ahead and did, social engineering. Like he was saying in his speech, its not something that happens overnight, like cigarettes, over a generation or two of being inundated and training the minds of regular people, you ended up with smokers that kind of "cowering outside of buildings and kind of smoke in private and dont want to admit it." Which was his goal. His speech was for the bill but also for congress or whomever to allow him to use the Government Creative Ad Agencies to do this exact thing. The same ones that did anti smoking ads and such, but also noted that it wasnt something that would be just something done every monday or such, it had to be nonstop in the faces of people.

The first National Firearms Act was drawn up and passed because of a mass shooting, which was the Valenties Day Massacre, where one gang assassinated some memebers of another gang with Thompsons. That made owning unregistered fully auto firearms illegal. Then later in 1986, i forget why, but the second NFA that amended the first was drawn up and passed which made it so no NEW full auto firearms could be purchased, anything made after 1986 is a no buy go straight to jail item... Thats unimportant to the point i guess, but still info that most people dont know.
Mass Shooting has been going up since the mid 90s and specifically since Facebook and Twitter and 500 channels on TV, its gone from something seldom said, to something that had to be actually defined by congress. Before that, it wasnt Mass Shooting, it was Terrorist Attack or something of the same nature if it was such.

What they need is Law and Order, not a bunch of liberal prosecutors that enable this behavior by being light on crime. If part of the culture of being a gang member is getting street Kred by going to jail than being more respected when you get out. The current laws allow for the gang members to commit more heinous crimes and get out allowing for higher amounts of street/ gang violence. Hence Do more/ worse crimes + shorten jail time = More respect on the street and more ( Scarier ) to rival gang members

The police aren’t defunded yet and they don’t seem to ever stop these things. We have one of the largest, most well-equipped police forces in the developed world and have way more crime per capita. Police don’t prevent crimes. There’s no evidence of that. They’re not even particularly good at solving them. Police are good at giving speeding tickets.
