CT Toys is killing it. I hope that they do a Mafex Brown suit Wolverine. Even if Mafex does a re-release on their official version.. I’d get both lol. I feel with CT scaling a bit smaller that would even help their version of a Wolverine because as much as I love my Mafex Wolverine.. I feel he could be a tad shorter
So I understand the CT toys verison is a bit smaller in comparison to the official version by Mafex, but I’m curious if the mafex head and neck can fit on the body of the CT Toys version. I’m asking because I’m hoping I can use custom headsculpts meant for the Mafex on the CT Toys.
Honestly im surprised by how tall the KO still is. I expected something like their black suit Tobey or the how short mafex Venom KOs are. If i didnt take one of fhose Venoms and make it a Spiderman I'd have waited for this one to release
@@venomouscollectoridk what they were thinking. Cause its only some parts that are white plastic. The heads,neck, shoulders,biceps and forearms. Important places where parts can paint rub. The rest is black plastic
@@bladerj that would only make sense if it’s a primarily white design. A primarily black design with black plastic allows the paint chipping to only exist on lesser areas like the logo and eyes.
@@22B112 its easier to paint black over white, and its easier to cover white over black. but when it comes to cleaning, its easier to do dark colors, so painting black over white is always prefered, like the eyes and torso.

This CT Toys release has been really exciting!! I hope they do the Scarlet Spider and Sensational/Amazing Spider-Man figures too, they've already shown off prototypes of a Miles Morale 092 Bootleg
mafex has always had a bad paint aplication, you should see the complaints on the evangelion series, i got lucky with mine, even the tiny entry plug was well painted.
i dont understand why these bootlegs are smaller then the original,also why are they using a custom head thing. that looks like what you see in buck figures
@datdude158 they are illegal, that doesnt matter, its like the body is shrinked 15% and they have no way of knowing wich mold it came from,it seems they have the 3d tooling, rather than physical copy.
A question i have is the height,in some videos i see that he is really short,but yours is almost the same height as the original. Did you make some mods or did it cone out like that?

If the butterfly wasn't so disjointed looking (pun intended) I can't really see any reason to get the original. Even the Peter head is great on the KO

Apparently its also fully black plastic. Which is wayyy better than the white plastic on mafex
