Mine will be here on Monday. In the comics I don’t think that venom head exists.. the Anti Venom Symbiot doesn’t have a mind of its own… well, it didn’t but I guess in one of the recent runs it “woke up.” Low key wish we would have gotten a Flash head instead, but I am not gonna complain about a free head. Don’t really read the comics anymore but that’s what a friend of mine said. But it’s really, really cool that they basically made an original figure of their own haha.

I don't see any reason to pay 100$ or whatever it is for the official when the ko looks great and is just as good at least it appears to be. Only a small size difference.

How can you tell the ko from the original by box

man, the ct i bought was different than yours, mine did have a ball jointed peter parker head that was better aligned like the original, the paint on the angry spidey face looks closer to the original one, having those mcfarlane lines and not being as far away as yours, and i don't know why, maybe i bought another version that resembled the original more, or i bought the bootleg of a bootleg, or maybe ct fixed some mistakes on the actual bootleg, i don't know. i bought it because i'm way too broke to buy the original mafex lmao.

Yes , my bootleg Venom’s left hand snapped off as I took it out of the plastic. I gently touched its left hand to pose the hand… and “pop”! Right off. Not coming off from the peg, but broken off with the peg inside of it. I tried to fix it with fire, with super glue… but nothing… SO, I had to permanently super glue the hand I thought was best. And therefore all of the extra left hands are useless… And yes, all of the joints are sooooooo tight, they feel they will break… when I tried to swap heads, the whole ball joint came off with the head. And I can’t get it out. So I have to leave the original head on it… I’m too afraid to ruin the figure. I get why we pay more for the original… because of quality control. I never opened a marvel legends figure and was afraid to pose it. I feel with this one you have to order like 3 in hopes of getting a good one, but then it’s around$60. Why not then just buy the original? so be careful when opening it. It’s upsetting… Im literally afraid to pose mine lol…

The 2099 is amazing for a bootleg, even better than the original imo. There's also a Spider Gwen bootleg that's not from CT and her neck is super long lol

I am a big fan of this ML Venom release. The size of the Mafex is so small that it ruins the figure. The Mafex head is excellent but the body size makes it look wrong next to any other 1:12 figures.

I am so on the fence with these CT Toys, the fact they are smaller defo Bugs me but obviously the cost is pretty low. I think Iam just gonna class all CT's as there own private scale.

i though it was just mispaint from pics is saw, but the lenses are actually thinner for whatever reason its actually smaller than the CT symbiote. disapointing

How do I fix tight figure joints, can I use any at home oils? Or do I have to purchase a joint fix made for figures? Is there any diy ways to fix tight joints?

Okay, the CT toys can make a great Ultimate Spider-Man with a little bit of paint. It's a little strange that it's smaller, the other bootlegs on AliExpress we're actually taller than the original.

Thank you for the review! Came in handy. Yea,man, I'm so conflicted right now whether to buy it or not. Symbiote spider man was shorter rhan original,sure, but i was ok with that. There's no doubt that ct 185 would have great quality and the size was my only concern. You can actually see that he's tiny bit smaller than symbiote ct release (considering the hight of the shoulders an upper traps). Not mad, not complaining, just not fit for my displays. Sure it would be a great fit as ultimate spider man. Tempted to buy the original rn😂
