There is 3 bolts holding the alternator, the 2 you removed and 1 on the right of the alternator braket. It is 12mm. That bracket is holding wires harness..becareful not to break.
Question: I replaced the alternator and ut shiws to be charging with a volt meter but the indicator light on the dash still shows ut to have a charging issue. What could that be? Thanks.
I’m thinking that the first time the alternator was replaced, the original bracket with the third bolt wasn’t transferred from the factory alternator to alternator removed here.

Should be charging at least 13.5 volts running , if not make sure you have battery volts at the main wire at alt if not maxi fuse blown
@@richierock1300 ok. Thanks. When the alternator went out it got really hot first so it might have blowed that maxi fuse.
@@richierock1300 just checked voltage at the alternator and it is charging 14.1 volts at startup.
Gauge fuse #26 under hood possibly
Can you job weld brass sink drain pipe inside the bad rad. Pipe?
Don’t recommend
OMG, WTF all that for the alternator.
yeah, it's a pretty hard work to change an alternator.
Yours didn’t have that small screw that’s by the dipstick
