Thanks for the review, I was going to buy the cheap kit version but I won't bother now.
This was a great video and great explanation, just too bad I didnt see your video before I ordered one of these units myself. Like you I wanted something simple and basic to use for repairing amplifiers. Also was hoping the unit had capability of smaller voltage amplitude for audio work.

Nice video, KainkaLabs! The "undershoot" in the waveform at 15:47 suggests that this is due to an antialiasing-filter on the soundcard (probably oversampled and then s/w-AA then downsampled) - probably the same for the triangle. btw - Have you tried the RedPitaya by chance?
I tried different sample-rates with the (onboard) audio-chip.
It always looked the same.
Red Pitaya is not suitable for my purpose: Battery operated standalone device + fast manual settings of frequency and amplitude.
Debouncing the inputs is simple. Insert a small cap in parallel to each button. To get rid of any dc, try a cap in series to the output.
Why should I do that (and not the "engineers" who designed it)?
It´s just junk with a useability near zero
