Starting at the 8 minute mark, that is my drive to continue trading my trading journey to full time. To become successful at it for my family...for the freedom it will provide for my family.
Most trading videos talk about Forex or Crypto, but I'd recommend looking at commodities (not gold), like Silver, Platinum, Nickel, Zinc, or Palladium. They "follow the rules" a lot more. Less wild stop-hunting moves. That's how I pass prop firms challenges.
The freedom, being more with my kids, provide for them and give them life experiences. Also be a good example for them. That is my motivation. I'm not there yet but I will. The way you spoke about your family is beautiful. Stuff are not important, the moments and memories are.

My why is exactly what you described, it is not the "buy expensive stuff" (which I admit can be attractive and there are certainly some dreams I would love to become reality someday), but it is more "achieve a certain kind of freedom and the ability to bring this kind of freedom to those around me who I value the most".
It's always good to watch these kinds of videos now and then, it gives motivation to continue going on, because it's definitely not easy just starting out in stocks.

And if so, what would you suggest be okay to work with? Would a tablet or a small laptop(eg surface pro) be acceptable? I am looking to invest in the course, and gradually dip my feet in the trading waters... Thanks!
Nice talk: How much time do you spend on trading per week? I have owned a lot of cars including several Mercedes - 2 S, 4 E & 1 C class cars. Without giving too much info I am over 190cm. I have no problem adjusting the seat of the 2010 C class to suit; have they gotten smaller? Just curious. When I am at home, I much prefer the S-class. I know that BMW has stuffed the cockpit so full that even the 7 series is too cramped.
