Your kids are very cute and helpful. It’s amazing that your youngest one can eat so well on her own. I see a lot of toddlers are still being fed at that age (including mine back back then 😅)

I commented before that my Korean mother had 5 children (I am second eldest). We are all very close in age. Oldest was 7 when youngest was born. Many people maybe think it is very brave to have so many children, but they don’t realize how special it is. When close in age, they all play together, as I did, and as your children do. Brothers and sisters are a support system for one another, also. And, when parents get older, they will have many children to care for them. Today, my mother has 4 daughters to care for her (my brother passed away 2 years ago). Your children/family is adorable ❤❤❤
아이가 도와주는것이 좋을것 같아도 실제로는 어른인 엄마가 하는게 빠르고 간단한데, 늘 차분하게 아이들을 기다리시는게 굉장하다고 생각합니다.😊
My children left for college this year, but until recently we made a concerted effort to not only eat meals as a family, but we also involved the children in meal planning, shopping, and cooking in age appropriate ways. It did make more of a mess and took longer when they helped, but it was worth it when we saw how proud they were of that salad they helped make, and it came with an added bonus of them wanting to eat what they made.
Her meals are so delicious looking, and yes my children would fight over sashimi too, absolutely. She balances good nutrition with what she knows her children will eat.

UK Supermarket they promote too many buy one get one free offers.

You made such a wonderful meal; I'm trying to find shiso leaves in Ontario 🇨🇦 but no store carries them. I can buy daikon radish and lotus root, but shiso leaves apparently don't travel well. I wish I could grow my own. 😊
Wonder if there are seeds to be found on the internet somewhere? I’m in the USA. I’m going to look (update: I found ships seeds on eBay. 434 seeds for $1.79 us)

Das erinnert mich an meine Kindheit. Wir waren 5 Kinder und die schönste Zeit war wenn wir zusammen gegessen haben. Meine Mutter hat mich immer mithelfen lassen und ich konnte schon mit 12 Jahren gut kochen. Später als wir größer waren haben wir abends zusammen am Tisch soviel gelacht und getröstet. Ihre Kinder werden ihre Videos sehen und stolz sagen, dass ist meine Mutter ❤
