I think a lot of adults forget just how messed up teenagers can be with each other, especially if they’ve been traumatized and/or been exposed to sexual things prematurely. The brain is generally still developing until one’s late 20s and is particularly vulnerable during the teen years so they’re not going to think about things the way adults do. I kind of wish there was better language to describe the specific ways that teenagers harm each other because using certain terminology suggests that comes from the same places and has the same impacts as when adults engage in those behaviors.

As someone who works in customer service I don’t care if you bring a dog indoors, service dog or not, just keep it away from the self service salad bar. I’ve seen people hover their dogs over it and it’s so gross 😭 as long as it doesn’t bark or go to the bathroom on the floor I could care less.
