- Here's my quick and easy go-to hairstyle after washing my hair. I like this hairstyle as of lately when I'm taking a break from wigs and feed in braids. This sleek low curly puff makes me excited to trim the last of my relaxed ends.

I felt that when you said, “Can I just be here in this moment “😁 I stopped relaxing because I wasn’t doing anything to my hair. I didn’t just say I’m gonna start transitioning. I have never big chopped. I would clip my ends every month or so because they were straggling. I don’t wear my hair out unless I’m in the house because it’s paper thin. It’s mostly in a ponytail with a phony pony attached. I’ve been like that for nearly 10 years. Just doing me. I love this style, so I may try it and reposition my ponytail for a change. Thanks for sharing. I love these type videos.

I love this look on you destiny. Relaxed or natural it really doesn’t matter, as long as you’re happy with your hair. You don’t have to explain a single thing to anyone.

Yes for the bathroom vids. And I transitioned for a year, so by the time ppl knew I was natural I had a good amount of natural hair. Girl take your time. I had to get comfortable with the fact that my hair was going to be that short (I always had bra length relaxed hair). And that wave is yours girl, ain’t no way around it.

I will definitely be trying this method.👌 I’ve never thought about doing that to put all of my hair into a pony tail. I also let my hair grow out, so I didn’t big chop which was easier for me.

I love how manageable your hair looks and that your hair actually curls, I thought of going natural but I feel like I will not have any curls judging from my new growth and I’m scared that my hair will be REALLY hard to manage, I really don’t have time for all that hair care 😭😭

Sisima13 the new growth can be deceiving! Bc the first part of the new growth is scab hair (no curl pattern)

Sisima13 i transitioned for 8 months then big chopped and i felt like i looked like a chia pet for another 6 months😂 but one day i saw curls... it does take time.
You won't know your true curl pattern until you cut the relaxed ends and reach true moisturization. My curls only started popping last year and I've been natural 6 years. 😩 Don't make the same mistakes I made! Water is your friend and too many oils and butters will block out the moisture and keep your hair frizzy. Deep conditioning with heat is a major key too.

Your Bathroom videos are my favorite I’m natural now and cannot do my natural hair so I wear a lot of protective styles but I want to wear my curls it’s all fun and games til you have thick hair

Another great video!! I’m currently transitioning for almost two years now but I’m big chopping in the next few days. You have the right attitude towards this whole process like do you and what’s best for you and what you want to do for your hair. I honestly cut some relaxed ends of once a month but stopped my last few months so I can say that I had a big chop lol. Cut the ends off once you’re ready and your subscribers will be here no matter what. I can’t wait to see you fully natural but when the timing is right for you boo 💯❤️ Keep up the good work and the great progress with your hair 😇😁

I don’t mind u talking lol and I like that u insert the little snapshots that u do for your thumbnails and I feel u when I transitioned it just happened and everyone was like how did u transition I literally did what u did and chopped little sections just to see my natural length and curls and my regular routine outside of protective styles we be in the moment and life happens and we literally do our buns alike and in completely natural it’s just the hair just gets everywhere and then it helps to make it slick down

Yes that's what happened with me also. I just didn't decide to go natural and transition. It just happened lol I got my last perm in Jan of 2017 and I just kept postponing getting a touch up. Next thing I know it's Jan 2018 and I can see my curl pattern n I decided ok maybe I will decide to transition. I missed my curls tho. I didn't get a perm till I was 14 n I'm 26 now. So I remember how my curls were n all. I did and still am trimming my hair whenever I feel like it. I don't have really any straight pieces anymore tho. I've been rocking my hair down as of lately and everyone is like aww your hair is pretty are yu rodding it and I'm like no lol it was wash day so I just washed it and put my hair butter, defining cream, and oil in. I guess yu could say my curls are popping then lol

I didn't purposely go natural. I just went with the flow then, BAMMMM, I was natural. People was like 'when this happen' and I was like 'ion know.' Lol. I loved my transition though so I was in no rush, kind of like you, snipped when I felt like it. BTW waves on fleek! Curls gone be popping!

Hi Destiny I've been watching you for a few years and LOVE how flat out real you are. I felt bad when you had to almost apologize and explain why you were going natural. Don't worry about the hair police. I've seen so many videos of black women getting rude pistachios nuts saying a bunch of rubbish and making a big deal of say I will now be unsubscribing like that's supposed to make someone jump off the roof or slit their wrist. You have sweet natural hair you can afford to go natural if I did that I would need to comb my hair with a razor its that crazy hard. I grew my hair to my shoulders and was so happy that I treated myself to getting streaks put in 😢😩😲😨😠. I ended up nearly bald as a chicken. I was looking like a black girl Trump combing the long bits to cover the rapidly balding middle. Last week I said dang it I'm done and I got all cut short short and I LOVE it. Now you know it's not always easy for some black women to grow long hair so some folks got real brave to step in my face and ask WHAT did you do I don't like it. They lucky I don't say swear words. But I feel free like a bird. Enjoy your moment to your extent.

I went natural this year in May after a year of transitioning. I only went natural because my daughter was told by a little girl (Caucasian) that her "fro" was ugly and she hated her hair after. I had to show her she as well as her natural hair are gorgeous ... so I decided to go natural for her to lead by example, but take your time it's your hair and your journey.

Omfg Destinyyy this vid couldnt have come at a better time. Id love to wear low bun but I could never get it sleek but I cant wait to try this technique out. And we are pretty much the same stage of our transition. For me its more the top section of my hair with the most straight ends now. But I do like you; if I see a piece I dnt like I just cut it lol
Your hair is transitioning VERY nicely! I'm no hair expert (disclaimer before giving unsolicited hair advice 😜), however, I wouldn't cut the ends just yet because I've seen folks never cut their ends while transitioning and the ends eventually got healthy. I don't know if keeping the ends sucks the life out of the healthy hair, though 🤔. Either way, your hair is looking great! Come through with the beat curls, sis! ❤
