    I love your tutorials. They've given me so much inspiration for my transitioning hair. I was able to achieve a bomb twist out last week without the usual excessive amount of tangling I usually encounter by watching your video beforehand. I even recommended your channel to my sister. I'll definitely be trying to duplicate this braid out really soon. Your results came out beautiful. I love the shine your hair had.

    After I washed my hair last night. I used only As I Am products, for my braid out, the leave in, double butter, and curling jelly. I also, put the rods on the ends. I haven't taken out the braids, but the ends look fabulous! Great video.

    Finger curling like an inch or inch 1/2 helps eliminate that frizz as well!

      And putting your hair in a pineapple for an hour or so after taking it down adds volume and frames the face well.

    Michelle -- this braid out turned out superb! (And btw you gave me the best tip for natural hair -- pre-poo! thx!!). Here's the question -- I love braid-outs, but how do you maintain the look without frizz by Day 3. I can't seem to get them to last. Using eco-styler gel - olive oil as the styler. Day 1 looks great, after that it's debatable.

    Beautiful braid out results! I'm still working on my braid outs and what products might work for them. My mom usually cornrow braids my hair since I can't do that yet. She uses Kinky Curly Knot Today or SheaMoisture Extra-Moisture Detangler, SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie or EDEN BodyWorks Curl Defining Crème, and Design Essentials Curl Enhancing Mousse for my cornrow braids.

    I had to sub this video gave me life *_* I'm looking to experiment with my hair and this seems like a really safe style to with. I am also transitioning from relaxed to natural hair because I can't even remember what my natural hair looks like, and just in general I've never done any kind of style with my hair. So thank you so much for such an easy to follow tutorial. I'm hoping as I do this style more often it gets easier to do and not feel like I'm messing or having uneven sections (or worse thinking I braided to the end to rap and in truth it wasn't far enough x,x). Thank you again!

    Very nice!! I'm a fan of your videos. Our hair is actually quite similar. Is your hair damp when you braid it? I have tried wet and dry. Dry, I feel like doesn't really give definition and wet, takes forever to dry. Any suggestions?

    • @MichelleBvideos
      @MichelleBvideos  9 лет назад

      +Rachel Berry-Delapenha Yes, my hair is damp. You won't get as much definition on dry hair unless you spray it with water but you will get stretched hair.

    I have texlaxed hair, and really want to try this. But my hair is SOOO porous my hair would never be dry in 1 day. Could I sit under a hooded dryer? And also...how long does the braid-out last? How do you refresh it?

    • @mirajiastaten9678
      @mirajiastaten9678 8 лет назад +1

      You can sit under a dryer. I do because I hate sleeping with wet hair. Just make sure your hair is completely dry otherwise it won't be as defined when you take the braids down. How long it last depends on how you keep up with it. Some people could go a week without having to re do it, others, like myself, can't stretch it past 3 days. It really all depends on you & your hair. To refresh, i usually just grab a spray bottle with water, lightly spritz once in the morning & once before bed.

    • @dayjahbenoir3674
      @dayjahbenoir3674 8 лет назад

      ty so much for responding. I think I will try it and sit under a dryer like you suggested. I like that you simply refresh with water, i see so many adding all sorts of different products to their refresh spray, it seems their might be some buildup. I'm going to try it and see how it goes :) ty!
