The full stream has a 1,5-2 hour part in it, from around the 2 hour mark, where the four participants, also four of the biggest English-speaking Football Manager youtubers/streamers, speak about the state and future of FM in great detail. If you like you can just listen to it as a "podcast" basically. It was a really great, serious conversation. I will post an exact timestamp in the full stream video comments section. Edit: timestamp is around 2 hours 12 minutes in the full stream video. You can hear parts of it from around 19-20 minutes in this video.
Kev’s solution is absolutely right, just have the option to hide all attributes and make scout reports/data analysis the only way to evaluate player quality. That would be realistic but not too hard. As it is, when you can see exactly how good any player is at every aspect of the game within 3 weeks of scouting, there is basically no way to fail. I’d also completely hide potential ability from scout reports, but that’s probably too far for most people.
@@joshlinnett2997 Yeah, I agree. With the same caveat that WTS brought in, that it should be optional, configurable. Because (as Zealand said), for new players FM is overwhelming enough. It should be a choice that you make, if you want that challenge. One thing not mentioned that much is that FM might be "easy" is because for some (many?) people it also provides a sense of satisfaction to achieve certain milestones, and the game kind of provides that, especially if you know how to do it. But then you can set yourself challenges, for example with such options that you mention.
@@thargoff 100%, although I honestly think hiding attributes might make the game less overwhelming. Less information to worry about, just trust your scouts/coaches. Right now you’ve got all these individual numbers and nobody (even the pros) quite understands what they mean and how they work. I also think hiding attributes makes data analysis a much more interesting part of the game, whereas right now it’s kind of useless fluff. No need for it when you already know exactly how good every player is. Data can lie, attributes can’t.
VOD channel update: Yeah, 2 uploads day! 2+3 streams behind. The World Cup 2022 simulation is yet missing, I think that will be its separate thing. 1x WC2022 simulation part1 (Wednesday, 13th April) - the group stage with Clive commentary (not based on IRL, as qualifying was also simulated.) 1x WC2022 simulation part2 (Friday, 15th April) - finishing the groups and complete knock-out stage 1x FAC (Tuesday, 19th April) * 1x FAC (Wednesday, 20th April) * 1x Network Game (Thursday, 21th April) Today's stream will be Dorfers again. *All FAC streams can include Austria national team games.
I'd love more of a focus on UX. The overall navigation of the game is decent, but simple things like fixing the column adjustments in views, showing more options in the columns you can add, etc. would be amazing. I work in software and sadly these quality of life features never get as much attention as more marketable features.
Next year may be the real Italian focus but bringing up an former big boy like Bari would be fun, especially under stipulations. Also Monopoli could be fun just because of the name.
Zealand, how much does my boy Vitinha ( ST from Braga) cost? Go buy him, he's amazing at ST, or give Scamacca a look, from Sassuolo. Just an opinion, both are amazing and play very well for me in my saves.
Is this a different Vitinha to the one he already has? The thing to think about is that he now needs players who are better than his current squad, basically Premier League winning, Champions League semi final, final, winner level. Those are hard to find and/or are very expensive. He needs players that elevate him to a new level.
@@thargoff it is, bro i bought the ST Vitinha from Braga, and he is amazing, i bought him to Barcelona and he scores 15+ goals a season, believe me, i dont give players to people that are bad, both Vitinha and Scamacca are amazing strikers.
@@JacintoBpc12 15+ goals a season is that good at the highest levels...... Probably looking at mid 20s for a starting striker at the least for a ucl/prem winning team
@@joehunt390 I have Mbappe by his side bro, he is like 15 goals and 11+ assists, he is a pressing/poacher forward for me. Mbappe scores 35+ goals. Never tried Vitinha or Scamacca alone upfront brother.
One thing I would love to see in 5 years for FM is to make a big push to console while obviously keeping their main focus on PC . A lot of people, including myself, simply don't have the computer with the ability to effectively run a game like FM but have consoles with a lot of power to them. I know theres a game on XBOX already but I'd love to see FM on all consoles as well as making the console game as immersive as possible
Why doesn't anyone ever check players that are interested in joining their team as part of their search? You'd be surprised the calibre of players you could see there

I just picked up Onana on a free in my first season with West Ham 😁
Haven’t been able to play much lately but so excited to get to use him

Would be nice if they could sit down and expand on their talk about the future of FM in a podcast later

I can't imagine how awful it would be to navigate all the menus on a controller.
Every time Jack complains about Boris I assume he's making a political statement

I hope they get the defense and GKs sorted out. They are pretty poor now. I have no desire to play multiplayer
Hi RUclips hope you have a great day!
Why do you add and remove a sell on clause before you offer? Am I missing a bug?
To avoid the AI team to put it in and later "lose" money when the player is possibly sold on.
amazing
