MY TOP 5 FROM 2007: 1. SERBIA - incredibly progressive, beautiful song. Very ahead of its time. A worthy winner. 2. UKRAINE - one of the most iconic songs of the contest. The fact that Eleni brought it back in 2019 attests to that. 3. BELARUS - this one was really overlooked. The staging was magical (no pun intended). 4. GREECE - I prefer this over Turkey as the party anthem of 2007 although Turkey was amazing too. 5. ARMENIA - beautiful ethnic ballad and the staging with the indigenous outfits, the tree of wishes and the bleeding heart elevated this so much. Honorable mentions, Russia and Turkey.
2007 was a great Eurovision year. Lot of great songs (Molitva, Work Your Magic, and of course VERKA) Finland did a great job hosting Eurovision. Next week Eurovision 2000 please. Never seen the full show (after the first hour, the Dutch broadcaster cut off the broadcast because of a big firework disaster, which burned a entire neighbourhood)
Molitva is still, up to now, the best Eurovision winning entry. My top three that year : 1. Molitva (Serbia) - 2. Work Your Magic (Belarus) - 3. Leave Me Alone (Finland)
Actually I've never seen the whole Eurovision 2007 and now I can say it was such a great year (love especially the entries from 🇸🇮 Slovenia, 🇫🇮 Finland, 🇷🇸 Serbia, 🇺🇦 Ukraine, 🇬🇪 Georgia and 🇸🇪 Sweden). And also 🇫🇮 Finland, despite being a small country did such a great job, such a good quality, respect and dedication for the Contest, which proves that small countries can make it so great, the hosts are just so wonderful!! 😍 ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
One of the best Eurovision years for me! Also the first year, when I watched the show! I want Serbia to win so much and I was so happy! My top 10 after 15 years from Hungary: 1. Serbia 2. Bulgaria 3. Georgia 4. Hungary 5. Greece 6. Ukraine 7. Moldova 8. Bosnia & Herczegovina 9. Belarus 10. Finland
Best Eurovision winner ever! I am still awaiting a song that can challenge the first place, but I doubt it will happen. Molitva is too much a masterpiece to be contested.
Here are my personal votes/rankings, i'am from the Netherlands 12 points: Serbia - Marija Serifovic - Molitva 10 points: Spain - D'NASH - I love you mi vida 8 points: Finland - Hanna Pakarinen - Leave me alone 7 points: Armenia - Hayko - Anytime you need 6 points: Moldova - Natalia Barbu - Fight 5 points: Belarus - Dmitry Koldun - Work your magic 4 points: United Kingdom - Scooch - Flying the flag (for you) 3 points: Romania - Todomondo - Liubi, liubi, i love you 2 points: Germany - Roger Cicero - Frauen regier'n die Welt 1 point : Lithuania - 4Fun - Love or leave
Hosting a Eurovision 2007 costed for Finland about 12,3 milion euros which about 3.5 milion paid By EBU and 4 milion paid By state of Finland and the rest By host broadcaster Yleisradio. So it proves that it was Indeed a huge effort for Finland to host the contest. Springs 2006 and 2007 remains now forever in the finnish history books.
One of the best years, I really liked the Apocalyptica show ♥ Life Burns loved that song, my favorite countries in that year: Belarus ♥, Turkey ♥, Serbia ♥, Spain ♥, Ukraine ♥, Moldova ♥, Finland ♥ and Latvia ♥ Kisses from Uruguay

@@dimidrugg9592 I agree with everything you wrote.. Also, to mention Sakis and "Shake it", one of my all time favs..and Kalomira and her secret combination, too:) Ah, can we go back to that great times somehow?...2014 was really that one downfall year.. After that, nothing would ever be as it was before...no more epic, unforgettable songs, like I still have Fairytale on my playlist after more than 10 years, but don't really remember many of the songs in last 5, 6 years.. Only recent ones I still really like are Estonia 2015 (Elina and Stig) and Italy 2015 (Il Volo)...Greetings from Serbia!
@@MsLylals Greetings orthodox brother! You sure deserved the 2007 trophy. I hope you win again soon.
@@dimidrugg9592 thank you, brother! Same goes for you and your 2005 win!😊 P.s. "My number one" is still pretty popular here, even after 15 years!! We love Helena🤗
So happy we get to see the moment marija won in HD! My favourite winner since 2000!
MY TOP 5 FROM 2007:
Bulgaria?
2007 was a great Eurovision year. Lot of great songs (Molitva, Work Your Magic, and of course VERKA) Finland did a great job hosting Eurovision.
Next week Eurovision 2000 please. Never seen the full show (after the first hour, the Dutch broadcaster cut off the broadcast because of a big firework disaster, which burned a entire neighbourhood)
The full show is on RUclips. :-)
The 2000 contest is nothing special. Only the winner was good in my opinion. You'll just waste your time.
@@dimidrugg9592 isreals perfromance tho- iconic
Molitva is still, up to now, the best Eurovision winning entry. My top three that year : 1. Molitva (Serbia) - 2. Work Your Magic (Belarus) - 3. Leave Me Alone (Finland)
The worst for me.
Thanks for 2nd❤ hopefully my country will find their perfect entry in 2021🇧🇾
Actually I've never seen the whole Eurovision 2007 and now I can say it was such a great year (love especially the entries from 🇸🇮 Slovenia, 🇫🇮 Finland, 🇷🇸 Serbia, 🇺🇦 Ukraine, 🇬🇪 Georgia and 🇸🇪 Sweden). And also 🇫🇮 Finland, despite being a small country did such a great job, such a good quality, respect and dedication for the Contest, which proves that small countries can make it so great, the hosts are just so wonderful!! 😍

Marija was so simple and absolutely true. Her performance always makes me crying when I watch it
Eurovision Song Contest 2007 is one of my favorite!
absolutely love the cinematic EPIC OPENING! ⚡️
By far one of the best Eurovisions
Hosting a Eurovision 2007 costed for Finland about 12,3 milion euros which about 3.5 milion paid By EBU and 4 milion paid By state of Finland and the rest By host broadcaster Yleisradio. So it proves that it was Indeed a huge effort for Finland to host the contest. Springs 2006 and 2007 remains now forever in the finnish history books.
One of the best years, I really liked the Apocalyptica show ♥
Life Burns loved that song, my favorite countries in that year: Belarus ♥, Turkey ♥, Serbia ♥, Spain ♥, Ukraine ♥, Moldova ♥, Finland ♥ and Latvia ♥
