You could get another 10% spell and missile resistance by adding scylla to the army. The Bloodspeaker would add 20 % weapon damage, 15 % speed, 2 flat AP, Strider and also 15 % upkeep reduction, so he would be arguably better than Arbaal because let's be real, they won't break. But all that is just pushing numbers, really. Also melee attacks, missile and spell resist and armor can be increased by ressources and upkeep can also be further reduces in the same way.
I heard that you get a new seed for AR when you equip items. This would explain why it went back down to phyrric after cultist also equipped the glorious charge.

I did this too 1 day, it proofed to be unstopable army, i also had scyla for Extra missile resist. But this is 1 of the strongest and eaziest doomstacks out there imo.
While hella strong I think the wrathmongers should be this terrifying (in battle) lore-wise considering they're meant to be the pinnacle of the god of murder's infantry and already have the damn chosen dw to compete with. That being said though, I think it's undeniable that they are WAYYY too easy to recruit and unlock in the campaign. One turn recruitment, affordable even in early-mid game, unlockable at TIER FOUR, and able to have their upkeep slashed by a bloodspeaker skill unlocked at (I believe) level five. They're my favourite unit in the game, but in campaign they need a huge price and recruitment hike
They are tier 5 unit, for the melee God they need a small nerf not the CA-Special.(poor tauraux) For god sakes look at aspiring champions, chosen, rattling guns, poison wind mortar, sister of twilight, storm rocket batteries, minotaurs...etc. They are supposed to be a doomstack material. And thats fine. This like saying: "why are steam tanks so OP? ", they are the peak of the empire engennering. Or "why is archaeon so OP?" He is the everchosen. He shouldn't be balanced around freaking tretch-kraven tail, LOL.
ya this is fantasy, they could just make AI build stronger late game armies, I just did my first campaign in very hard without playing in months and I had to check every other turn it was not on easy mode. It is so easy to steamroll everything late game.

I don't see this unit as a problem. Maybe the 1 turn recruitment might be a bit much. But Khorne has no ranged nor magic. They make up for it with very good anti infantry. CA need to stop with the goddamn nerfs.
It's normal in an Arbaal campaign. I haven't tried a wrathmonger stack with Arbaal leading it, but it's pretty easy to get a stack of all chosen that is completely free

I think the wrathmongers are strongest in a bloodspeaker army since the bloodspeaker gives them more speed, lower cost and 15% more weapon strength.

I think they can, aspiring champions have worse melee stats and mainly non armor piercing damage.
This is a real scary unit in the hands of the ai.
