If you had seen the Clone Wars which explores Ahoska's and Anakin's relationship, that moment between her and Luke would hit your heart strings.
Yeah, it was a big mistake that she didn't watch any of the animated shows. emme reacts did though, and it's so worth it to see her reactions to stuff like that.
Following the release of the last episode, Māori artist Graham Hoete from Papamoa carved a replica of Boba’s helmet made out of kauri wood and gifted it to Temuera Morrison himself in his hometown Rotorua.
The replica is decorated with etchings and wave-like swirls that honor and represent Temuera’s Māori heritage.
That's the most awesome thing ever. I glad that this is a thing I know happened.
I had no idea I needed to see Ahsoka and Luke together. I absolutely love this episode giving us that, Luke finally having someone who can tell him all about the good man Anakin Skywalker used to be, his triumphs, not just his flaws.
But this episode also ties heavily into "The Last Jedi," showing how Luke modeled his new Jedi on the old. . . and how that ultimately led to the same failure. I like seeing that step in Luke's journey, with the extra information available about the old Order. To make a long story short, the old Star Wars Expanded Universe, now called Legends, started well before the Prequels came out, so no one knew anything about how the Jedi used to be. So Luke's new Jedi Order took on a very different shape, because the authors and the characters had no information to draw upon. Now, with the Prequels showing us what the old Jedi were like, and survivors like Ahsoka to give that information to Luke, he has everything he needs to recreate them. Except he didn't realize that it was precisely because he WASN'T like the old Jedi that he was able to defeat Vader and the Emperor. It adds a layer of tragedy to his story that I really like.
Happy First Contact Day!
Cad Bane's history with Boba Fett (Clone Wars) and Fennec Shand (Bad Batch) goes back a long ways.
This series was pretty cool. It wasn't the greatest, yet it added to character development and world-building.
Great reaction.
Seeing Cad Bane, as a fan in The Clone Wars, is glorious..
Addie, 13:57 That, is Cad Bane.
Rematch between Cad Bane vs Fennec Shand would've been nice to see here as well.
It makes me happy seeing one of the coolest characters in Star Wars.
FYI, if you haven’t seen the clone wars, Cad Bane is the reason Boba Fetts helmet has the dent. (pretty sure it was Clone Wars)
@@michaeldixon3440 we don’t actually see it in the series, it’s in a scene from an unfinished episode. you’re still right though.
Thanks for explaining to her what she already looked up on her own. Don't know what we'd do without you.
Addie It's so adorable how you gush over Grogu and his achievements like a proud mom.
The one major problem I kind of have with Din and Grogu coming back together so quickly is it nullifies the end of season two of Mandalorian. I think it was a really bold choice from a storytelling perspective to have that season end with Grogu leaving with Luke. While on one level I'm happy that they're reunited because I like seeing them together, it does rather remove the stakes if we're just going to immediately undo that choice here. It feels safe, and rather comic-book-y, in that sense that big things can and do happen, but they very rarely stick but things have to be serialized in perpetuity, so maintaining the status quo is very important. Part of me, as someone who adores this franchise and has for decades, likes that, because I like the fact that more can come out of it indefinitely, but at the same time as someone who loves stories in general, I want growth, I want change, and I want real stakes that matter and have lasting consequences. In the end I'm not worried about running out of ways for new stories to be told even with changes that stick because I have confidence that the universe is big enough and robust enough to accommodate that, even if you have to go in different directions. It is what it is, I guess, but I wish they had at least dragged it out for a while longer.
I absolutely love that western theme of Boba Fett, just works so well.
So glad you reacted to this! Great job and thorough analysis! I was glad we even got this chunk for Boba. He’s been a mystery since Empire Strikes Back, and this gave him a richer history than I could have imagined! I think the fact that Tatooine was once an ocean planet was the most fascinating aspect. Hooray for this one and thanks to Star Wars for giving the fans another great show!
For those of us who've seen The Clone Wars and Rebels, Rosario's line "So much like your father" tugged at the hearts of every single one of us lol. Still highly recommend you go through both series if you have the time.
And she would appreciate the Cad Bane scene so much more
The "Tusken Raider Fighting" is actually traditional Maori warfare from here in Aotearoa (New Zealand) which like with me, is the actor Temuera Morrisons heritage. His fighting spear was designed to resemble our spear called a Taiaha. While its clearly no longer an efficient weapon, Taiaha's are still used for performance such as with a haka (the performance at the start of Rugby Matches by our team The All Blacks) or when doing a Pōwhiri (A greeting ceremony such as people of importance visiting the country, or to one of our Marae's (Tribal meeting house).
There's a RUclips video of a military haka performed at a funeral. It was heart wrending.
This episode (6) is some of my favorite Luke Skywalker = Jedi Master content. It reminds me so much of my experiences reading the novels of the E.U. with Luke and his Jedi Academy.
Fun fact. Cad Bane is also responsible for the scar in bobas helmet (is it called scar? i dont know). The had a duel at the end of the clone wars, where Boba was still a teenager, which is why they know each other
Indentation or impact.
Ahsoka is getting her own spin-off show later this year
I'm excited for it! I've heard some rebels characters are gonna be in it and hopefully rex will be too
Just FYI, this isn't Star Wars. It's called Star Wars, but it definitely isn't Star Wars.
@@kitsunetrask wut ?
@C-MC Official allow me to clarify. Star Wars used to be a template for the teachings of Joseph Campbell's the Hero's Journey. This was the culmination of the stories told through all religions, leaving a seed for us to surpass this physical realm and obtain higher forms of perception.
Star Wars now has become a battleground for woke ideologues, and narcissists determined to destroy the original message of George Lucas, Joseph Campbell, and philosophers of the ancient world. Whatever original message that remains is hidden under many layers of pop culture pandering and greed led cash grabs. The story that resonated at a spiritual level for so many is now tossed on the gnawed bone pile the machine known as Disney gorges itself and through slitted eyes, licks its obese lips at the remaining stories of humanity.
😀 have a nice day
The day Rosario Dawson showed up on set to shoot scenes for episode 6, her script said she would be meeting with a Jedi named Plo Koon, Dave Filoni’s personal favorite Jedi from the prequels. In actuality, she got to work with the one and only Mark Hamill, who acted the shots of Luke before being de-aged for the episode. There’s an adorable shot in the behind the scenes of her seeing Mark reading his script in the bamboo forest and turning back to camera with a huge smile on her face.
The little "that's what she said" was perfect. :D
I think this might have been the first reaction I've seen where the mystery gunfighter was not known. I appreciate seeing the scene from another's angle. For Addie, a sinister mouth up close was "scary". For those of us who knew "The Clone Wars", a distant glimpse of a flat-brimmed hat and a duster's corner had us begging for Cob's life to be spared.
So true. I recognized Cad the first time his silhouette was shown, and I immediately thought, "Oh, Cob's in trouble."
Cad Bane was a great surprise to see. He was also the one to put the dent in Boba Fett's helmet.
The bounty hunter Cad Bane (the blue one with the red eyes of the Hat) appeared in the 2008 "clone wars" series and later in the "bad batch" series.
Why is everybody so determined to tell her what she'd already looked up on her own??? People are so determined to prove they know something.
Thanks, Addie! 🌟 That blue gunslinger was 'Cad Bane'. He was introduced in THE CLONE WARS. He was also seen in THE BAD BATCH and REBELS. This was his first appearance in live-action. #AddieCounts #StarWars #TheBookOfBobaFett
Thanks, you're really helpful after people have already done the research on their own.
The 6th episode of Book of Boba Fett was what made me watch The Clone Wars cartoon series. I knew Ahsoka and Bo-Katan were from that series, and when I saw Cad Bane in an epic western standoff with Cobb Vanth and then Boba Fett, I wanted to learn more about their origins.
I did not regret it, Clone Wars is some of the best SW content out there, even if it is a cartoon. It can be fun, serious, tragic, tearful, epic, all at the same time.
13:15 that is another mind melting "blast from the past" for us long time fans. His name is Cad Bane, the badest gunslinger in the galaxy and a mercenary that made life sour for about everyone back during the clone wars. He also happens to have trained Boba Fett when he was growing up. He shows up in the animated show Clone Wars
Hahaha! "What She Said!" inserted! 🤣 Basically *Archer* saying, "Phrasing!"
15:17 Fun Fact: This Jedi temple is the same one we see in "The Last Jedi" when Luke has his flashback about Ben Solo (Kylo Ren).
Addie: She would know.
Me: You know who Ahsoka is???
And I love getting a live action Cad Bane, too. ❤
Considering she already saw Mandalorian Season 2 (the season that introduced Ahsoka to live action, it only makes sense Addie would know who she is at this point.
@@austingillum4807 Knowing Ahsoka in Mandalorian S2, and knowing Ahsoka, are completely different things. The Mandalorian is about 1/100th of who Ahsoka is.
For fans of The Clone Wars, seeing Cad Bane in live action was as great as seeing his return in The Bad Batch after so many years. He was the best bounty hunter in the galaxy during the Clone Wars, going toe-to-toe with the best of the Jedi and winning. He's also the one who put the dent in Boba's helmet. In short, he is not someone you want to mess with.
Fun Fact, Cad Bane is the reason Boba has a dent in his helmet and Boba is the reason Cad has a plate on his head. In a duel, their speed was so equal, it ended in a draw but both survived.
I’m sure the comments told you already, but Cad Bane is a character from the animated Clone Wars series. And he is one of the absolute ruthless, cold hearted, quick on the draw, and coolest bounty hunter in the history of Star Wars! He once was hired by Palpatine to steal Force sensitive children for his arcane experiments!
I refuse to believe Cad Bane and Cob Vanth are dead. Cob looked like he got hit in the shoulder and was playing possum. They wouldn't bring an iconic character like Cad Bane in just to kill him off that quickly. Also, I don't understand why Grogu couldn't have both the armor and the lightsaber. Why did he have to pick?
When I saw Cad Bane’s silhouette in the distance, I jumped up and don’t think I blinked for that entire scene. He’s a badass bounty hunter from the Clone Wars series who appeared several times, standing toe to toe with the likes of Obi-Wan and Anakin. In an unreleased episode of the Clone Wars, we see that Cad Bane took a young Boba Fett on as a protégé, but after a disagreement they had a standoff where they basically shot each other. Cad ended up with the metal plate on his head, Boba Fett got the dent on his helmet.
So Cad Bane (the blue cowboy villain) was a character from the Clone Wars show. Top bounty hunter who even fought Anakin and Obi-Wan.
In the show, Bane is young Boba’s mentor. He essentially taught Boba until he was good on his own. They had a falling out over Bane’s brutal tactics and had a western standoff.
The actually both shot each other. Boba’s helmet dent, and Bane’s metal plate under his hat. So their standoff in the finale was a big rematch and a nice gift to Clone Wars fans
33:37 Right? My husband would be Grogu in this instance lol. And I'm the rancor of course.
Happy "First Contact Day"! 🖖
LIVE ACTION CAD BANE!! I About freaked when I saw that silihouette in the distance.. he is from clone wars animated series
Fun Fact: Cad Bane is responsible for the dent in Boba’s helmet
I WISH they had made that episode. It explains the plate on Cad's head as well.
Trading headshots would've been cool to see.
I was freaking crying when seeing Luke and Grogu
That "scary blue" cad was the bane of Boba Fett's existence, so he used his Tusken training to raise a din, and it was quite jarring.
@Addie Counts that bounty hunter with the big red eyes and blue skin is cad bane he is one of the greatest bounty hunters in the star wars universe. He was actually one of Boba fett's old bounty hunting mentors and was Jango fett's rival/friend.
He is the reason why Boba Fett has that dent on his helmet.
If you want to see more of him and ahsoka you should check out star wars the clone wars. That's where they both made their first appearances.
5:55 Just for some Context, if you think back to Revenge of the Sith or look at Reva from Obi-Wan Kenobi with Order 66 (the attack on the Jedi and Jedi temple), that was the flashback of Grogu. So he was at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant when Anakin and his forces attacked.
Also they did an incredible job with Luke. The team behind him recruited a RUclipsr known for doing insanely good deep fakes, and they got hours of archival footage of young Mark Hamill to train it on to recreate him so well. They also trained a voice algorithm AI with young Mark Hamills voice from the movies, interviews, etc..., and synthesized a young Luke Skywalkers voice. It's insane what they can do these days.
The blue guy was bounty hunter Cad Bane. A badass character from the Clone Wars animated series.
I like it when Boba arrives riding the Rancor. This whole final episode is pretty good. I like the fact that even Grogu gets to help out a bit by using the Force. I like the fact that Grogu, the smallest person there, stops the Rancor, the biggest creature there, by putting him to sleep then Grogu curls op next to the Rancor a to take a nap. lol Grogu doesn't have to be a Jedi nor Sith in order to have/use the Force. The benefit of becoming a Jedi would be the training.
The Marshall is in another show that you might like called Justified. Seeing Timothy Olyphant playing a marshall again with the same demeaner is great.
(Cad Bane arrives) "Who is this?"
and just like that, my Clone Wars loving heart broke.
29:51 you missed a chance for another "That's what she said " 😂
The CG of Luke is pretty impressive, considerably better than the Luke from The Mandalorian.
They hired the guy that did the Deepfake effect. They saw his video.
So ready for you to start Mando season three. I've been holding back because I wanted to watch it along with you.
Cad Bane has a loong history in Clone Wars and The Bad Batch.
I personally really liked this series. We got to see some storytelling on Fett and see some emotional depth in his character. I personally don't mind the slower pace (a lot of shows and movies lately seem to want to push through content just to get somewhere) so I really like the slower pace, builds the story, the environment, and shows various moments that may happen off screen that we may not ever see. I just wish we could have got more episodes of this series. I do think Fett needs a Season 2, so they can explore more of him ruling and the many challenges that come with that.
The only thing I wasn't a fan of, was Grogu and Mando getting reunited here. I think Grogu being offered the decision would have made for a good final scene to leave off on and build up for Mando S3, because I personally wanted to see Mando go a few episodes without Grogu to show how different he felt before being reunited again.
Overall, the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett have personally been some of my favorite Star Wars content, excited to see where they go from here. Great video!
6:08
"...hello there."
I'll settle for being in the top 100 of likes on a brand new Addie upload 👍🏿👍🏿 #proudADDIEaddict #memberoftheAteam
Cad Bane almost certainly survived. If you knew more about him, you would know that his life support was activated and it sent out a call. He has a little droid companion that likely came to rescue him. Now Bane and Boba Fett have each beaten each other once.
- A series staring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, called "Ahsoka", is in post production for release later this year.
- Season 4 of the Mandalorian has finished filming and is in the effects stage for release in 2024.
- A series featuring Katee Sackhoff as Bo Katan is in development.
- I think that you would enjoy the series "Andor" about Cassian Andor before the events of "Rogue One". Diego Luna returns as Cassian, and Andy Serkis appears a recurring character. The first half is slow, but the second half is great.
It's been a 2 year gap in universe since mando has seen grogu.
My summation for TBOBF, for anyone who couldn't understand Boba's transformation, is that it is hagiography. A story of redemption. The tale of how a sinner became a saint; how a loner became a leader. It's Biblical. The fact that the whole thing takes place in a desert can't be a coincidence. Anyway, to Hell with the haters, TBOBF is a masterful series, I've really enjoyed your reaction videos, and I can't wait for Season 2. I wonder if Boba Fett will show up in Season 4 of The Mandalorian?
The flashbacks are great. I really enjoyed them. I just wish the series would have stuck to them.
Did you watch the Clone Wars? You'd understand the relationship of R2D2 with Ahsoka. ^^ Of course he would call her!
I'd like to point out that I don't belive Bane is dead. He's just to loved by fans
The clone wars is a huge part in this. That's where the bounty hunter Cad Bane comes form as well as Ahsoka
SHE KNOWS!!!!
Gotta love Cobb Vanth, of Vanth Refrigeration.
The blue alien is Cad Bane. He was very important in the Clone Wars series.
Cad Bane is also of the Clone Wars.
Oh man, she is absolutely going to lose it over Grogu in this one.
Please watch the Clone Wars Series. It adds so much to the Star Wars universe. Everyone who watched it knew who the blue guy with the scary red eyes is. It is also a large part of Ahsoka's backstory. Really a must watch.
“Boba Fett isn’t as cool” -nerds that don’t know what character development is. This show made him feel more human, therefore, everything he does is even more impressive.
4:57 ,,Most impressive" Darth Vader to Luke Empire Strikes back.
Cad bane is a bad ass bounty hunter from the clone wars. And hes the one who put the dent in bobas helmet hes the one who shot the marshal
This show is full of surprises, I wouldn't be surprise if BOBA FETT would made a cameo someday..
He did season 2 Mando
@@josearroyo8008
I'm pretty sure he meant in THIS show since he went about an episode and a half without being the main character.
@Karl Matrix who cares man. Din went two episodes of his own show being a side character (i.e. Ahsoka and Boba Fett), at the end of the day it’s Star Wars. It’s always just going to be Star Wars. Every one of these shows are building to a major event before ‘force awakens’ in the timeline, Favreau came right out and said it. It’s all one story, let’s just treat it that way
@Karl Matrix that’s the most tired excuse to nitpick shit in these shows. Why does having a particular character in an episode outweigh the desire to tell a good story? If you truly wanted a show focused only on Boba, it would have been 5 episodes and they probably wouldn’t have had Din, or Cad Bane at all. That probably wouldn’t have been very good.
Such a tedious take. Haters gotta hate I guess.
Heyyy, it’s Billy and I am hoping you are enjoying the Book of the Manda.. um, Boba Fett
As you’re finishing this, I’m even more excited to see you start the 3rd season of The Mandalorian!! Then, when you’re all caught up, later in the year we get a huge treat…
AHSOKA!!!
Seeing Grogu train as a Padawan was something all of us wanted to witness. Training with THE Jedi!
On to the next adventures of The Mandalorian and Grogu!!
💚 This Is The Way 💚
Take care, Addie!!
You kinda should have seen the animated Star Wars Series "The Clone Wars" first
lots of the stuf in the series will hit so much harder.
the references and callbacks.... so amazing
Dave Filoni who made this show made The Clone Wars previously
I believe you would enjoy the various animated star wars content clone wars movie, clone wars series, rebels, bad batch and tales of the Jedi all give great stories more characters and more background to the universe
If you want to know more about that blue guy with the red eyes, watch the animated series "The Clone Wars." IIRC he first shows up in Season 2 Episode 1.
Cad Bane was possibly the most badass villain in The Clone Wars, so it was amazing to see him in live action. I thought they did a damn good job of showing who he is and how menacing he is.
Also, the reason Luke looked better in this than in The Mandalorian is because a RUclipsr called Shamook did a better version of deepfake Luke as a critique of the scenes in The Mandalorian. High-ups at Industrial Light & Magic saw it, and they hired him.
Grogu was apparently training with Luke for about 2 years. They just condensed it for the show.
Can people please stop spreading this. Jon Favreau literally confirmed in an interview like 2 days later that he meant 2 years for the viewers, from our pov, not in-universe.
@gbozzi_ This is what he said to Vanity Fair when they asking him about the two-year statement:
‘The Mandalorian’ Reveals Season 3 Trailer &...
How long was Grogu with Luke Skywalker?
Season 2 of The Mandalorian ends with Luke Skywalker taking Grogu from Mando in order to train him. On The Book of Boba Fett, the two are reunited after Grogu decides to abandon his training to be with his protector.
Following recent comments from Mandalorian co-creator Jon Favreau about the show's timeline, many fans were confused.

SOURCE: DISNEY+
Article continues below advertisement
In his initial comments, Jon said that Grogu was training with Luke for about two years before he was reunited with Mando. That comment sent fans into a tizzy, as it didn't seem to comport with how long the story of The Book of Boba Fett was. Thankfully, Jon eventually clarified his comments during an interview with Variety at the red-carpet event for the third season.
"I don't know if I said many years, its probably about the real-time that we've experienced it," Jon said during the interview. "So it was the end of Season 2 when they said goodbye, we checked in in The Book of Boba Fett about a year ago when they parted company again, and then he rejoined the Mandalorian. So now, I think somewhere in there, more than one and less than, you know, somewhere between zero and two years."
So if we are going by real-time, Mando S2E8 premiered December 2020 and Boba Fett Episode 8 premiered in February 2022. Which is about one year and two months. But Favreau says about a year from when they parted company until they check back in, and then more time between when Mando left the shirt and when Grogu left. So while his final words are that it was "between zero and two years," it makes sense that it is closer to the two year mark than the one year mark. So we round up to two year.
@@TheNotoriousCheeto he literally said in the Variety interview "no, not that much" when talking about the 2 years. Plus that makes zero sense.
Why would Grogu start to learn basic lessons only after 2 years, plus Luke waiting 2 years to start building a little temple on a place he was training a youngling? Why would Ahsoka wait 2 years to go after Ezra after finding out where he is by Morgan Elsbeth? Why would it take 2 whole years for Moff Gideon to be taken to trial when they just found out he escaped (and it's clearly recent)? Why would Boba have waited 2 years between finding Fennec and his ship and going after his armor? And did Mando just randomly spent 2 years bounty hunting without talking to the Armorer? Because it's pretty clear that all that happened was recent considering they were just talking about Moff Gideon and the beskar spear.
It's pretty clear just couple of weeks passed. Dave Filoni already said he "doesn't think we're in 10 ABY yet".
It's Raylan Givens in Space!
Addie is Beauitful
You can say that again pal.
Is The Office the reason why people started saying parkour when seeing it in action?
I always wondered what triggered that.
36:34 The terminology you're looking for is "modifications" or "mods".
It's crazy how far CG de-aging technology can come in such a short space of time. I thought Luke looked fine at the end of season 2, but maybe I was just overwhelmed in that moment. Then within days a fan had combined that footage with some deepfake technology to make the scene look even better on RUclips. I think he got scouted from those videos to help work on future Star Wars projects. Then in less than a year we have this version of CG Luke that imo looks 10x better, he's in bright natural daylight which should make it even harder to look right, but he looks so great now that when I rewatch the Season 2 finale he definitely looks jank...
I'm sure the technology can come even further though, I bet in 5 years I'll look at Luke in Book of Boba and he'll look the same way to me that a bad PS2 era cutscenes looks to me now.
4:22
my favorite hero luke skywalker
You seen the Ashoka trailer released today 🔥
Just think of all the shows in Star Wars universe as Star Wars now.. where they go on different adventures with different characters its similar to the clone wars were they dont just Focus on one character... And yes Ahsoka has her own show coming this year , still no exact release date But I'm sure we'll know by May 4..
The 2 best BOBF episodes had nothing to do with Fett. Tells you everything you need to know about the series. And I agree with the sentiment by many that reuniting Grogu and Mando in BOBF hurt the Mando series. It completely undermined the entire build-up and finale of S2 of Mando. And confused a lot of viewers of S3 who hadn't seen BOBF who were left wondering how and why they were already back together again.
Editor Addie is becoming my favorite instead of Reactor Addie. 🤣
Cad Bane in this is so watered down compared to Clone Wars, you definitely need to get round to the animated shows before Ashoka comes out
Just a heads up for season 3 of Mando...have patience lol first like 3 episodes are kinda slow and meh lol. Idk if it's just because we've already had 2 seasons so it's a lot to live up to, but it doesn't really start getting good until episode 4. Not that it's bad! But it might seem a little underwhelming the first 3 episodes, but have patience, it is good!
I get why they people call this Mando 2.5, but in their defense, they clearly wanted to do a Boba Fett storyline, but it would have been too many episodes to take up a Mando season, so they had to have Mando fill it in
Adding Din to the show isn't a problem. But they shouldn't have added Grogu or any of that storyline to this season.
@@BryanFritchie They had to. They didn't want to eat up two or three episodes of season three getting the kid back. So they took limited content for each and combined them, It was fine.
@@BryanFritchie Apparently that was the higher ups mandated, not the writers/directors
Yeah this show and especially the episode is much more enjoyable if you watch Clone Wars.
Bane is a truely iconic character. He's like the Apex predator among headhunters. It was so amazing to see him in live action even if he looked a little uncanny. Also his death was unnecessary and a bit cheap.
Tano telling Luke he's much like his father really made me tear up because of the backstory of her and Anakin.
Clone wars has lots of filler episodes and the first seasons are poorly animated and childish, but the later seasons and the overall story are pretty damn good.
Maybe you could watch Transformers (2007) some day. Love the videos!
According to the show runners Grogu spent two years training with Luke before going back to the Mandalorian.
Huh. I never heard that

I am unfortunately in the minority that Grogu should’ve stayed with Luke. I love how Mando and Grogu have a great relationship, but it makes the whole quest of Season 2 and its finale feel kind of pointless. I’m definitely biased because Luke and the Jedi mean a lot to me more than Mando, and I think they tried to write out Grogu too soon or maybe Favreau and Filoni got their backs bent by Disney to write Grogu back in just to sell the show.
The thing is if grogu stayed with Luke then that was it, he was destined to die and that would ve the end for the character, but by returning with mando we can see new developments in the character and in his relantionship with mando and the mandalorian culture, i find that more interesting and a better development for the character
The showrunners confirmed that Grogu had been training with Luke for two years.
