Andy, I hope you're enjoying producing the podcast. As an avid tennis fan for 35 years, I've seen and heard all that the tennis world has to offer. You are taking it to the next level and the timing couldn't be better. It seems there is an opportunity to grow our sport at the moment; we need you at the helm. Thank you for staying involved with this and your work on TC.

I found this podcast on twitter, have listened to them all on spotify, and seen them all here. Roddick, you were my guy on tour, and I hope making this podcast makes you happy-i know we all enjoy it! I still remember watching Wimbledon final against Fed and you being mad at Roger for saying “I know what it feels like Andy” and you replying “You had already won like 5 times” 😂😂

Hi Andy. I used to play as you in Top Spin 4 against my friend and I could never win, though it was always close and I could tell you were really trying your utmost on every point. It was a pleasure to play as you and I feel like that bonded us like brothers. It's so cool to see you started a podcast! Excited to hear you nerd out about all things tennis.
I would love it if you issued me an apology for the losses live on the pod. It was humiliating and I'm still not fully over it. My therapist says I need closure.

What could the umpire do the match was over and he couldn't control the crowd anyway.

You better open that dictionary and read the meaning of the word " dominate" instead of using it as a coaster for your too many pints because, obviously, you were drunk when you watched the match. Tsitsipas was losing, playing his best tennis, while Sinner was winning before he had cramps not even playing his best match. Tsitsipas would have been in Athens eating tzatziki and watching the final on TV if that helpless blonde idiot on the chair had done what she was paid for. Most importantly, Tsitsipas was down 1-3 in the 3 set and 30-40, and he made a double fault ...now speaking about dominating, that is evidence that he doesn't even dominate his own demons.

Agree with most things, especially on players being allowed to express themselves and be human when the crowd is goading them. But you mocking Kyrgios on your podcast last week was so bad. You referenced an exchange between him and Ruud that happened FIVE years ago in 2019 in Rome. Kyrgios was goaded by the crowd and finally dq'd for throwing a chair onto an empty court. Ruud crowed and beat his chest in delight (he was young). followed this up with a media conference calling Kyrgios a crazy idiot who should be banned for a year. Kyrgios was in shock from the dq - had shaken the hands of the umpire, opponent and supervisor, knowing it was fair. Then that comment. Of course he was defensive. Give it context bro. And give a date. Neither had sniffed a slam final in 2019.

Andy laughing and wailing during the knockout story was kind of sickening. love the podcast, but wth... professionalism much? it's not a locker room bro fest. it was a raw and real story about conflict and low points in one's life. which part of that was supposed to be funny? worse yet is the lack of follow-up or deeper discussion. all we got was Andy laughing his ass off.

I've been on the receiving end of an Andy Roddick serve. Did I play him? F no! I was watching him practice his serve back when Los Angeles had a goddamn tourney ...I'm sitting with my step-son watching, the chain-link fence a foot from us, and Andy's hitting towards us. One minute and I'm pointing out how he hits it on the rise and then BAM!!! A serve shoots right through the fence (as it can do) and smacks me square in the forehead, ending up rolling at my feet. I'm so dazed, hold up the ball and he says, "It hit you? You ok?" I give a thumbs up, he barely misses a step, hits the next one. As I'm sitting there giggling my kid holding the ball, this douche next to me tells his kid, "It didn't come through ...he just dropped it and said it did." ---- sure, buddy. Anyway, kept that ball for a while.
