I would want him to retire and say goodbye at Roland Garros! It should be a grand and spectacular one...he deserves it!!

Whenever I see Andy talk about Rafa, my mind goes back to the Davis Cup tie in 2004 Seville where an 18 year old Rafa beat Andy on clay. What a career!

Nadal retiring at 37, is not nearly the tragedy that was Bjorn Borg retiring at 26. I was just out of high school when he retired, and the entire tennis world really fell apart at that point. Of course, the game is bigger than one player...but it was all about McEnroe vs Borg at that point, and it was tragic to 99% of us that breathed the game like Rafa/Djoko/Federer fans did over the last 20 years. We've had 20 years of these guys!! No tragedy IMO.

Pity about some of your remarks on the podcast immediately post-final, regarding Ruud. They've been taken up by a few malicious online tabloids and misused for sensationalism. So what's new...I'm sure you didn't intend that to happen. Good luck getting Kyrgios back on the channel now.

I'm surprised both tennis analysts (whom I respect a lot) didn't mention the fact 2024 has the Olympics at Roland Garros grounds.. Rafa should/could retire at the Slam or the Olympics. Missing both is going to be a real sad thing for tennis fans and Rafa.

They discussed this before. He has to be invited to play the Olympics and the odds are remote.

Keep it up Andy, been watching since the start. Your analysis kind of called it, but why not literally just keep going as far as you can if you are Rafa? Who cares if you just withdraw when you're done but keep entering?

Rafa should just appear in RG with no expectation of winning, but just for a proper send off...he can't catch up to Novak anyway, even If he wins in RG he's still short of one slam..its not a perfect world, but he can still put a good final exclamation point on his Wonderfull career.

Talking about athletes not being able to go out on their terms, what about Ash Barty? World #1, winner on all 3 surfaces at GS level. And retired because she wants to start a family. What an awesome story, and I could not be happier for her.

Hey guys, like others have said, at the time of making this video public, this topic is yesterday's news or more like last week's news. Tsitsipas won the tournament, so you are expected to post a video discussing the winner of the tournament. Don't get me wrong , I still love this series.

Tragedy? Really? These are people. Mortals. Yet you guys want them to play at the top peak forever. Roddick, you disappoint me by joining this other guy with utter nonsense. Why can't we just savor all that these tennis greats have provided us with over so many years? Anyway, who am I?

What’s stopping Rafa from just resting this whole year and just waiting till he’s back to full health next year and then play RG? Instead of trying to rush and make it back for RG this year?

Roddick, Who’s the GOAT? Jordan or LeFraudb or Kareem?
(Correct answer: MJ, but Kareem and MJ but not Fraudovic I mean LeFraud is an acceptable answer 😂)
    Second question
Who’s the GOAT? GOATdal, Federer, or Weakvak?
(Correct answer: GOATdal, but Federer and GOATdal is acceptable but not weakvak 😂)
