That's great man. I have the same shocks on my brushed granite and they leak just sitting there so it will be nice to know if this works. It's a real problem so this vid was needed. Thanks 👍
Big B RC mine leaked just sitting too as of right now they are not leaking sitting at my desk but this weekend I'm taking it out so by next week I'll let you know if it worked, I also got a little bigger o-ring for the the body of the shock if it starts to leak from there that I will try next
Great Video! I'm so tired of re-sealing these turds and I want to try your way. What's the exact dimensions of the rings you use if you don't mind telling? Thanks!
it is the 2nd video i just looked it up, for the shaft o-rings I used three 3mm x 2mm and 2 old o-rings, that is in the first video, it goes 1 old o-ring 3new o-rings 1 old o-ring. Then the second video witch is this video I use one 7mm x 2mm o-ring, and the third video shows no leaking. At 10:56 of this video it shows the size on my phone and the brand I used. The brand does not matter just the size
Yeah i find the other video. Only thing is using the good sizes. For example i also find this on arrma forum. "Disassemble your 3S shocks. Open the bottom shock case. Remove the top o-ring, then remove the plastic spacer. The bottom o-ring might come out with the spacer. Insert a total of 5 o-rings (search 2.6mm x 7mm x 2.2mm on Amazon or your preferred vendor) into the case, Green Slime or Super Lube O-Ring Lubricant, and close it back up. Be generous with the lubing. Fill your shocks and reassemble, enjoy leak-free great performing stock 3S shocks" and for the big o-ring 1x10
Every video will have a little different size o rings because all o rings are not the same size so you are better off buying a o ring kit and trying them. I got lucky and got some from my work and they fit
They can't be 3mm O rings? Diameter? The ones that are in it are 8mm wide and the plastic piece is 8mm diameter.. I've put two 7mm and one 6mm instead of the plastic washer 👍
And the
“Got found because everyone love a Typhon” moment.
Good video.

Did it work? Did you also changed the other o-ring (the largest one)?
Yes it work still doesn’t leak and yes in one of those videos I show what o ring I use for the bigger one I can’t remember off the top of my head
