It's so true, I work behind the camera and I was mad when I heard directors or else asking stupid things like this.
I couldn't wait to become director myself so I wouldn't ask such things.
However, it's still complicated to get funds because 95% go to men....
I've worked on an all-female crew once and it was amazing, everyone was so meticulous. We need more settings with all-female crews! And more funds as well!!

Nice one to make a point. As long as it's good, people will watch it. Coming from an entertainment upbringing, I can tell you, young guys have to be ever careful. But anyways, as an actor you get treated as dispensable for sure.
