@@ICEMAN330824 The STL files are available at Titandynamics so yes you can print and build your own. Or anybody with a 3D printer would be able to print it for you.
Was the entire model printed in ABS (text comment at 25 second point of the video) ? The build manual suggests light weight PLA for everything except the motor mounts, and I find that makes for a rather fragile model. If the whole thing can be printed in ABS (or maybe PETG) then although heavier it would probably be a lot stronger.
Yes whole plane printed with Polylite ABS, single wall 4% infill. Slightly heavier but much more durable. Most importantly it can sit under the sun without deforming.
I have my timer set for 10 minutes but it can go longer depending on how much hovering you're doing. At full throttle forward flight it only pulls 20 amps.
Hi!! I am printing one of those and I already have the Matek F405 VTOL board. I tried to download the parameter from the the drive link you have in the description but never could. Could you help me please? Regards from Spain
It can easily go past 10 minutes but I always land before that. Range is limited by DJI FPV video which is rated for 10km. RC is on Crossfire link so it can go way beyond that.
@@YeRo2323 Happy new year to you as well! The camera is just stuffed into the front opening which is part of the fuselage design. Vista VTX is just held in place with double sided tape right behind the camera. There are added vents in the canopy for cooling.
So cool! I am an FPV pilot but these look really fun.
I intent to fly this with FPV as well. Vista already installed in the nose.
Are these for sale or just custom builds?@@hobbyconcept

Currently building the hornet too.. nice stable flight..
Very cool. Do you plan to fly FPV? Would love to see that view. 👍
Yes the Vista is already installed. Couldn't fly this weekend due to swapmeet. Next weekend for sure. Come join us!

Thanks. I hadn't heard of that material before. Does it "foam" like lightweigth PLA ?@@hobbyconcept
@@SmallScaleSteam No it's just a marketting name for standard ABS.
how much is the Avionics Power?
They look to have a really nice tune - pity you cant buy a PNP version (would be first on my list)
It's not too difficult to build if you have access to a 3D printer.
What flight times are you getting with this setup? I'm thinking about buying the files for printing.

You print all the plane in abs? Would it be enough place for an old pixhawk 2.4.8?
Yes all in ABS except the carbon tailboom and spars. There are plenty space inside for pixahawk. I could fit 2x 6s-5000 lipo pack if I wanted to.
@hobbyconcept can it run 4s
@@jimmytheriot8978 you'd probably have to use higher KV motors like 1500 or 1700kv. Have not tried it myself.

Hi again,
I wonder why didn't you put the tail as VTOL? Do you have any reason or just because you prefer it.
Thanks for your help!!
Urko
tail? Do you mean motor? I just perfer to have less motor/ESC for weight reduction.
How much does the fuselage you printed using ABS weigh? What is the takeoff weight of the aircraft in your video, in kilograms
Around 1500g without battery.

Well done guys.
excellent work.
What flight time did you get on the hornet and the viper
My timer is set for 6 mins just so I have plenty reserve to come in for hover. It can easily go 10 minutes with the 6s-5000mah pack.
very nice!😍

Have a Caddx Vista with DJI cam currently. Plenty space for O3 airunit.
