Autumn has arrived and with it the desire to make new projects for this beautiful season. The colours reds, oranges, and browns come to our mind when we see the trees turn into these beautiful colours, so inspired by this I chose 3 colours for our basket.
Now, for this basket, I used a transparent plastic base, which not only looks great but also saves us some time to make the base 😉
At first, I used a smaller crochet hook so I could thread the T-shirt yarn through the holes in the plastic base. Be patient, it’s a little time-consuming, but it can be done! Start by single crocheting through each of the holes.
Once we have finished the first single crochet row, we are going to make the knit stitch, which will give us this beautiful look as if it were knitted and not crocheted.
To make this stitch, the only difference is that instead of inserting our hook where we are used to, we are going to insert it in the middle of the v formed in our previous row. Here is a little video where you can see the process.
Change colours as many times as you want, and make it as tall or short as you want. It’s perfect to put candy and decorate your spaces.
