And the internet they use is not heavily controlled. Being on internet is not a sin. You have to use internet in order to survive today.

And btw, where is Shelly Miscavige? I think David Miscavige (the tiny little man - shorter than our 10-year old -- who runs the organization with an iron mini-fist) either murdered her or has her in a dungeon somewhere. Uh, Napoleon Complex anyone? Does law enforcement give a shit about this poor woman? Evidently not.

You are brainwashed and groomed and really aren't given the critical thinking skills and abilities to be able to figure out that it isn't okay and that it isn't legit. Plenty of highly intelligent people believe really screwed up shit. Like geniuses who still believe bronze aged myths about an all good deity who demanded human blood sacrifice in order to forgive them, for instance. How crazy is that? Scary stuff, but millions believe crazy stuff. Mostly because that is what they are raised to believe. Children are vulnerable and they become adults who are ignorant.

      Joshua Leonardo Let me pick apart one point afer another. The history of the world and homo-sapiens is more than 500,000 years old. During most of these time, religion and believing in a diety/gods was killing and sacrificing humans to gods, from the volcano gods to the rain gods. This was done by religious nuts just like these people. The vast swathes of ignorant, insular, intolerant and hate filled people, who force their false ideology of a supernatural deity on others; who say their god is real and all others are false are alI beaten because of human inate instincts for empathy. All those terrible atrocities done in the name of God, public stonings, rape, genital mutilation, honour killings/murder, child brides/paedophilia, inequality, the death sentence for Apostasy, the list is almost endless is done and condone by the bible. Slavery is condone by the Torah, Quran and the New Testament. We have ended slavery from our own moral standard against your made up god. We have advance in Science against the wishes of your popes. We have advance human rights for women, black, gays and atheist by the direct rejection of your fairytale books. Humans at the end of it all triumph against your dictator in the sky that doesn't even fucking exist.

    their exact mission to save the world, has been floundering for awhile now, since no one can come up with any kind of instance of Scientology actually helping anyone, other then themselves, I'm reminded of 9-11 when every camera in the world was turned towards New York, and Tom Cruise showed up with a bunch of e-meters, and a yellow tent, and "treated" exhausted and demoralized, firefighters, with auditing sessions and "touch therapy" a true spectacle of showboating under the guise of "helping. truly disturbing.

      No, because nobody cares when people make money...
      Ethics always go out of the window first whenever money is involved.

    • @mrsquishyboots
      @mrsquishyboots 7 лет назад +2

      Mark R. working at a restaurant is one thing. 12 hours a day working at a customer service call center or as a janitor. the money goes to the church of scientology.

      @foxsux6000 7 лет назад +3

      mrsquishyboots That's a double standard, child labour is child labour.
      None of it is right, but in the end people find work done by their relatives or families as something acceptable. (so nothing gets done)

    Read Leah's book and it was very interesting. I don't see how such intelligent people can be sucked into a cult. It became obvious that this cult is after their member's money. I'm sure there is some legitimacy to some of the practices that can be applied to everyday life but the fact that everything comes at a cost and they want what seems like ownership of their followers with complete loyalty. When you are forced to choose the "religion" over family or friends that in itself should be the biggest red flag! Never make a person your God, real authentic religion would never have you turn your back on your loved ones in favor of the religion! No one who walks this earth is worthy of that power.

      Noe Ruiz - where did Izzy say anything about hate or dislike? She simply she said that she would never watch another Tom Cruise move ever again. If she disagrees with his beliefs then she has a perfect right to boycott his movies. You're the one that needs to grow up and learn how to properly comprehend what you read. Also, telling someone to "shut up" in a forum in which a serious issue is being discussed is seriously inappropriate, obnoxious and undermining to your own credibility.
