I've literally been watching Carrie Fisher videos all day. RIP.
Carrie was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, which causes you to have weird mood swings. She's a VERY sweet person and she's very lively and bubbly. If you watched her biography Wishful Drinking, she explains that she'll have her mood swings where she's being weird or depressed. She's still the same Carrie you guys. :)
Thank you for posting this. I just wish I hadn't read the comments. Always missing Carrie. I love listening to her old interviews. No matter where she was or who was interviewing her she would always make me laugh and give an insight.

Watch other interviews she gives. This is just her personality. She isn't the crisp, elegant princess from Star Wars because she was....wait for it....acting. Harrison Ford is cool and loveable as Han, but you will only be disappointed if you think Ford is like that in real life. I like seeing the real side of these human beings.

+thepunkster90x I wouldn't either if I was bugged all the time for reviews, and bugged all the time additionally by B-movie developers begging him to be in their movies...even though Ford has been in a lot of great movies since StarWars, but he's been in a few crappier ones too, he's around so much I think he would value private time, whereas Fisher and Hammil have only done a few things memorable since, namely Mark Hammil being the voice of the animated Joker, which is my favorite role of his next to Luke.

With Carrie it's not really her age..its all the crap she put her body through with Drinking and Drug abuse. Look at her mother when she was Carries age...or Look at Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) who about 5 years older than FIsher and is still highly attractive. Jamie Lee Curtis as well is only a year or two younger than Fisher and is still attractive. It's all in how you take care of yourself..age comes for us all..but you don't have to speed it along.
She's adorable, inspirational too. Some of you are just too shallow not looking past age.

Because of her attitude of dealing with her bipolar disorder, addictions and everything. She's always been very open about it all and always sees the funny side.

Some of you can be so mean in your comments only because you know no one can get to you and so you talk trash about her and or anyone else to be witty. Carrie Fisher is Bi-polar and it's a difficult thing to manage an interview let alone a conversation as one could image a regular person at 20 or 30 years old. The medication she on and possibly the tempo of being out there mixed with fatigue can affect her thinking or thought process. You talk shit but remember your life is as normal and flawed like you and I. She is to be commended for even accepting to revisit this role for the franchise.
As glad as I am in seeing Carrie Fisher back, I'm kind of sad at how her years of drug addiction has taken such a toll on her.

When I saw slave Leia on that movie screen, I was *dismayed*. There was my proud, pure, badass princess, turned into...that. I may be a strange guy, but that was how I felt. Years before that, when we had just seen A New Hope, my sister was teasing me about having a crush and fantasies about Leia, but that made me *mad* -- for anyone to think that I'd have thoughts like that about Leia! Just not true, and not fair! (Though, years later in my college years, I finally did "get it" about the sexy outfit.)

I feel bad for Carrie, she was barely 60. Every interview I saw her in during her last few years, she always had a can of coke with her. I assume it was coke, but someone should have told her that all that sugar is not good for you.
