Nostalgic recipe... used to be one of the highlights of Parsi lagan nu bhonu. People would beg the server for a boneless large chunk n we children used to giggle. Will definitely try it in my kitchen. Tks Tiny Taster. Reviving fond memories.

Hello, Roxanne from Toronto , thanks for the recipe,l will definitely try it out , never had it before,. Originally from Karachi,so it could be Bombaywali speciality. All the best , take care 🙏🤗
Thank yo so much ! Yes pls def try it out and let me know if you like it. I wonder if there are any Parsi recipes from Karachi that we don't know about. If you think of any please let me know I'd be very interested :)
Hi Roxanne, any particular reason to add garam masala inthe beginning to the ghee & cook prior to onions?? Thought always sprinkle in the end of cooking.
Hehe, so traditionally this is just a mutton dish but I think if you want to add chicken you just cook the chicken ( on the bone ) and get that chicken stock. You don't need to pressure cook it but cook it in water with the same marination for about 45 mins to an hour. Follow the same recipe just replace the mutton with chicken where ever. Full disclosure - I haven't actually tried this but I don't see why it won't work. Good luck and happy cooking :)
