@@nasirriaz2409 Metal Gear 2 seems fine. WipeOut Fusion, THPS, Tekken. So far all good. A few slight stutters with Destruction Derby Arenas but nowhere near as bad as Retroarch.

Out of the box question that you or your viewers may know but Final Fantasy X has a weird ghosting in battles when anything is at a distance and im newer to emulation. Any idea what setting this can be. Its the only title that does this and i havent strayed away from any setting you guided thru.

10:57 for me when I do what you said I don’t get a directory like you I just get two files S and Q. S file is Program Files\windows apps and the Q file is Users\UserMgr0\AppData\Local\Packages. I can only chose the two and nothing takes me to the usb drive.

I had the same problem, you have to go to your usb folders and add some permissions, the process is something like this: right click on the folder that contains your emulator stuff, then in properties, security, advanced, add, select security entity, advanced, search, all application packages, then ok, ok, apply. Then it can read the BIOS, now my only problem is that memory card is not detected, maybe I have to add write permissions. Edit: For memory card I just leave the default folder instead of the USB one.
a pendrive can cause problems vs a hdd? various games perfect in the videos and menus but the gameplay have fps drops, could it help using xbox device portal ?

Not sure if you can help me; some of my ROMs refuse to show cover art. I’ve tried downloading new ROMs, new cover art, I uninstalled XBSX2 and reinstalled, wiped all the XBSX2 folders from my drive and set everything up from scratch. The thing is - it’s the same 5 games that refuse to show cover art. They were showing it before; issue started when I decided to put higher quality images in the Covers folder. But there are higher quality images of the same file type in the folder which show fine for other games. I feel like I’m going insane

I have the same exact issue. PCXS2 works "fine" on my laptop. The computer is old so it's not ideal for running it, but it shows it can work. It cuts out the same way as you.

Great tutorial and fan of most if not all of these guides! Maybe one thing for future vids or something there is a solution known...but i was not able to find it. Issue: When playing jak and daxter there is a shadow bug. This also happens in the native pcsx2 emu, however the fix known there i cannot apply to xbsx2! Any idea?

I'm not sure if this question has been asked yet but I currently have my XBSX emulator running smoothly (thru my Xbox sign-in) however my wife would also like to play some of these games. My question is, is there a way to add her as a guest (with her Xbox sign in) so that she can also use the emulator??? Or will she need to purchase a separate Dev Mode under her sign in to play emulator??? If there is a way to add her as a guest, will HER in-game saves affect my current in-game saves??? the bios you got did you unzip them first then move them to the bios file inside XBSX2.0 folders in video one being called bios they need to be extracted first

So, everything worked out well on my flashdrive, but it's only 8 gigs, so It can only hold one game at a time, so I found out how to reformat an Xbox Seagate external HDD for PC and then I copied all of the files from the flash drive over to that HDD. Unfortunately, when I get to the BIOS selection stage, it doesn't let me select any of the specific BIOS. Do you think it's just an HDD thing?
@@ArchadesGames The permission look good. I did change the HDDs letter to D from G. I did this because my flashdrive was D and I thought it would keep it the HDD from acting strange, seeing as I moved all of the flashdrive files to the HDD. Would that be the issue?
I have Enable Per-Game Settings turned on but Game Properties does nothing in the game menu when i click on it. Do you know what i have to do? I cant figure it out.
I came here for this issue, everything was working great yesterday, now when I come into my menu game properties will not open and I don't know what happened.
@@kaazer I found you have to go to games list, and press RB till it hits one of the thumbnails, click on that and an option allows you to det the folder location of your games. It only allows game Properties from ingame when you have them in the list, and not where you're just manually loading the game from its folder
Great thank you that fixed the issue, while my main hard drive was hooked up to the computer getting more games I put one of the games on a flash drive to play in the meantime, I didn't have it in the game list and yes you're right it wouldn't work. Thank you
When I try to use a memory card in a game it says it’s not enough space on it, I did everything you said on the memory card part, any ways you could recommend fixing it??
I hope its not too late to ask this but I can play more than 4 players on it for some reason. I connected 5 xbox controllers to test the multitap function and it only "recognizes" 4 inputs or controllers. Any help? Love the videos man
Whenever I boot a game I always get a message saying that the game disc location is on a removable drive… and some games just won’t start and crash the app. I never had that issue with the old xbsx2

What’s the difference between this emulator and pcsx2 through retroarch? Would it be a substantial upgrade?
Yes a big upgrade and more features are compatible if I'm correct.

I just ended downloading the AetherSX2 version. XBSX2 didn’t want to read bios as well

In the video he tells you to select a folder in your usb disk for the memory card in the settings, I just left the default one

Did you figure it out? On duckstation I had to upload them through Xbox portal and name them EXACTLY what the game title is and it worked perfect

Did you setup the USB drive with proper security permissions?

Just use your account. Saves aren't account specific they are handled like on original platforms.

Make sure that you follow ALL of these steps when granting security permission. It has to be enabled for ALL_PACKAGES specifically
when i attempt to use the chud converter it just boots up and immediately closes...any suggestions?
So, everything worked out well on my flashdrive, but it's only 8 gigs, so It can only hold one game at a time, so I found out how to reformat an Xbox Seagate external HDD for PC and then I copied all of the files from the flash drive over to that HDD. Unfortunately, when I get to the BIOS selection stage, it doesn't let me select any of the specific BIOS. Do you think it's just an HDD thing?
Did you give it proper security permissions
@@ArchadesGames The permission look good. I did change the HDDs letter to D from G. I did this because my flashdrive was D and I thought it would keep it the HDD from acting strange, seeing as I moved all of the flashdrive files to the HDD. Would that be the issue?

I have Enable Per-Game Settings turned on but Game Properties does nothing in the game menu when i click on it. Do you know what i have to do? I cant figure it out.
I came here for this issue, everything was working great yesterday, now when I come into my menu game properties will not open and I don't know what happened.
@@kaazer I found you have to go to games list, and press RB till it hits one of the thumbnails, click on that and an option allows you to det the folder location of your games. It only allows game Properties from ingame when you have them in the list, and not where you're just manually loading the game from its folder
Great thank you that fixed the issue, while my main hard drive was hooked up to the computer getting more games I put one of the games on a flash drive to play in the meantime, I didn't have it in the game list and yes you're right it wouldn't work. Thank you
When I try to use a memory card in a game it says it’s not enough space on it, I did everything you said on the memory card part, any ways you could recommend fixing it??
I hope its not too late to ask this but I can play more than 4 players on it for some reason. I connected 5 xbox controllers to test the multitap function and it only "recognizes" 4 inputs or controllers. Any help? Love the videos man

Whenever I boot a game I always get a message saying that the game disc location is on a removable drive… and some games just won’t start and crash the app. I never had that issue with the old xbsx2

I'd do a reinstall and see if it helps. I have yet to see any messages like that on my end.

Hey bro, have you tried playing grand theft auto SanAndreas on this emulator? Im curuous to know if you get that annoying double picture effect or ghosting that seems to be on every version of this emulator on mac pc and android with that particular game
