I just upgraded from an EVGA 3060 Ti to a MSI 4070 S MLG and I loveee this gpu, I tried an ASUS dual Oc and it sucked, so glad the MSI card redeemed itself. The 4070 is so cool(temps), so quiet. It's kind of crazy that is uses almost the same amount of power as the 3060 ti. Insane performance while using 220W. When AMD can come close to the efficiency, I'll think about switching. I have never owned an AMD card and I probably never will. There is a reason Nvidia has pretty much cornered the market. AMD has just always had that cheap feel, going back to the ATI days.
@@Wizardi1111Their GPUs are so user friendly. Like you can manually upgrade DLSS (and FG) file to a newer version and tune it's scale factor to your liking. Plus, they offer the best in class upscaling solution (with widest support), a bit better quality FG and significantly better RT performance. I think it worth a few extra pennies.
@@asadfarookart Naawww, I ditched the 3060 ti for the 4070 S and I am sooo happy. Love this GPU. If you are at 1440p the 3060 ti just isnt enough VRAM. Esp for newer titles.
@@suparibhau yea I was getting sick of turning down settings so upgraded. What's crazy is the efficiency and lack of sound from this gpu. My 3060 ti would sound like a jet with some games. I did a 3dmark stress test scored a 99.7(passing is 97) and it hit 61 max. Fans are stock curve. I really didn't want to give up the last evga card but it was time. I do miss evga though.
@@natel7382 that's why i never get x2 fan cards, always go x3 fans to be sure it's silent.Or if you managed to make x3 fan card sound like jet ,then you need better case.
amazing to see the 3060ti performing like this in these titles!!! for this price of GPU you really don't need anything else! High settings for games are fine if you want 15 to 20 more fps.
have also a 3060 12 gb its now problems new titel and have now framgeneration mod it save it want a asus 4070 dual evo oc de slim model not that fat verion
@@GFS695 Maybe at 1080p, 1440p I was having issues. I am loving the 4070 S though, such a great card. Its twice as fast and it never goes above 60C unless stress testing, this is using stock fan curve.

It literally uses like 10 more watts and smokes the 3060 ti, runs cooler, I never hear it. My 3060 Ti sounded like a jet engine during some games. I stress tested the 4070S and it was 99.3(passing is 97) and it went up to 61C and I never heard it. Insane how great this card runs. It's not all about power, efficiency is huge, it checks all the boxes, and I paid 540 for the 3060 ti through the step-up program (covid prices). So imo I think it's a good deal. Gone are the days of the $599 1080 Ti. $40 is the new $20, it sucks but it's not going to get better only worse. Scalpers made sure prices never go back. Also Zero coil whine, I forgot about coil whine, my evga card had a little bit. Love this MSI card.

as a casual gamer, games hitting 60fps is more than enough for me. still rocking the 3060 Ti and have no plans on upgrading yet
