A perfect human being.
You can REALLY hear the Fripp influence in her playing.
She's something else. Beautiful.
After her recent release of the album "All Born Screaming" I'm going through the time machine re-visiting her early albums and interviews. It's clear that the reason her music has evolved so well over her career thus far is her legitimately wide range of influences from different genres and eras of music. And the essence of all those combined influences comes out naturally through curiosity when writing in her studio. Every song on her new album sounds very different from each of the other songs. It makes for a good listen, OKAY??? Jeez.
She's so sweet.
And just when I think she can't get anymore perfect, I find out she's a Rush fan.
I wish I could be best friends with Annie and geek out with her over these things.
St. Vincent mentioning Robert Fripp in an interview with an MTV logo. Maybe there is hope.....?
