Great to see you return! Excellent song. I just love the brutality of the riff and the angry cynical vocal and then the bridge is just so melodic. Catchy but not in a way you get tired of. I've been listening to this song for years. No specific recommendations but you should definitely go deeper into the Slipknot catalogue.

When I was a teenager, this band wasn't one of my favourites but I crossed paths with people who loved this band and it growed in me. Awesome band. The best live version of this song I think is the day of the gusano in Mexico. It's a bit faster paced than the album version but you get a real good feeling for all the different percussion used. The beer keg really stands out and gives it an awesome sound. You're right on the lyrics representing the decline of society and it's effects on people, but there is also a few shots at the Bush regime in there. (Song was released in 2009 around the time the US crusade for oil during the George Bush regime)

They have many varying heavy. fast, slow, crazy and even scary sounds (and lyrics) which you need to react to many, but, now that you are familiar with their heaviness, creativeness, powerful and brilliant lyrics, you now need to go check a different side of them and react to their song "Snuff."

Kate Rusby - My Young Man. Honestly all of her stuff is impossibly beautiful, it's very hard to choose.
