Would the zippered pocket (in the organization section) be a good place for an iPhone 15 Pro Max or is it too small?

I think a true competitor to this is the Bellroy Venture Sling. It’s about the same capacity and has similar durability and outdoorsy features it’s a little slimmer and has a touch more organization within its pocket design. Worth a look IMO

Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! Definitely feels like a good alternative to this one!

The best slingbag today , in my opinion, is the tomtoc EDC-sling. At a lower price point than your suggestions, it still delivers in both style and functionality - and I really like the outside attachmentpoints, they have been a lifesaver for me on more than one occasions...That being said your suggestions also has it's merits, but just a bit too pricey for me. Keep up the good work with your reviews, I watch them all! 🙂 /regards from Sweden (Fjällräven country)!

Thank you for watching and for the support! I’ve heard great things about the tomtoc sling, definitely have to check that out in the future!

I bounced between this and the venture ready 2.5L from bellroy, in the end I prefer the latter. I like a sling that has just enough to carry my pockets + a bit more if I need it, otherwise I'd rather use a daypack. Just hit the right balance of just big enough and good look and materials. The blue one especially. But def not for people who want more space as bellroy always overstates vol. Just my preference. good review.

I had the 2.5 from Bellroy but decided to keep the CAS2 haha. Love the Bellroy aesthetics especially the feel of the interior, but for capacity and ergonomics/simplicity the CAS won out for me.

Thank you for watching! I haven’t had a chance to use the venture yet but people seem to really like it, definitely a tough choice between the two

I like your reviews. One suggestion may be that with anything that isn't two strap backpacks, is to talk about that swivel to the front. I can't recommend daily sling by aer for that reason because it moves too much

Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! That makes a lot of sense, that’s definitely one of the key actions I take with a sling bag so will try to make some more direct call outs on that in future sling videos!

Enough length seems a bit positive?
You almost have no strap left and I'm sure enough people have a broader chest/back.
What I heard as an issue was the lack of strap keepers as well.
Perhaps these are too expensive for evergoods? Not sure why almost all their bags have annoying dangling straps everywhere.

Now how do you handle that extra strap that keep flapping?

How would you compare this to the Aer City Sling 2? I like how the aer pouch can hide the straps to be used as a packing pouch in addition to the nice grey with bpack hardware option but the evergoods sling just looks so much more ergonomic.

Thank you for watching and good question! Both are really great overall, like you said I do think the evergoods is more comfortable and it also works well as a waist pack whereas the city pack doesn’t feel like it was designed to be worn that way. Although both have a nice layout, I really like how the evergoods one has the large open compartment on the front which feels like it makes it easier to pack with the items I typically carry

I'm torn between this and the Aer City Sling 2, what one would you recommend?

    • @dannypacks

Thank you for watching! Both are really good options, just comes down to aesthetic and layout preference, for me I prefer the pocket layout and look of the evergoods, but the city sling can slim down a bit more

Wish they updated the material to the new used by the current crossover bags. I hate how much lint/fur gets picked up

Great review, one suggestion would it be possible when presenting alternatives to cut to broll (if you have it) or images from the site of the alternative products so we can visualize the comparisons as your explaining them

I picked up one of these a few weeks back. Really like the organisation panel and what it can hold and how it doesn’t really impact the front dump pocket which seems to fit more than you expect. A great out and about daily sling bag and great materials and build quality as always from Evergoods. Great video too, subbed as like the content.

Nice review as usual, Danny. I’ve been using the CAS2L for the past 6 months mostly in rotation with a couple other slings here while traveling in SEA.
Did you find that the straps of yours loosen a bit while in use? I find mine does and has since first using it. The strap fabric just seems a bit too slick and the clasp doesn’t seem to bite the strap enough to keep it in place. The behavior is even more obvious when the pack is particularly more full in carry load. I find I’m able to mitigate this by cinching it a little tighter and using some generic strap keepers.

Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience with the bag! So far I haven’t noticed the straps loosening but will keep an eye out for that as I use it more over the next few months
