Awesome video. I like the fact that you're open and transparent about your business. Theres a ton of videos here on YT about running an Etsy business but very few share any real life screen shots of their backend stats. Kudos to you for being one of the few that really try to help others with their Etsy business.
I was going to buy an Anycubic Corba Max, but after seeing your videos and how nice multi- colour items look, I bought a BL P1S. I've had it for a couple weeks now and absolutely love it. Never had a failed print yet. Loving your videos.
Great video. I really appreciate the insight into the inner workings of Etsy. I do have one question, what is Etsy’s cut in your sales? What is the percentage with advertisement and without?
Thanks for sharing, really appreciate the transparency! Hope you have a cracking Christmas season (but don't forget to take some time off for yourself too!)
I recommend putting hooks in the start of your videos, the drop off in the first 30sec makes a huge difference, also the branded intro is a retention killer. I have tried ads a few times and it didnt really bring mores sales in. RUclips shorts, is the best and cheapest way i have found to drive sales. Sounds like you need to get more printers, a good problem. I learned a lot about shipping profiles in this video, i have really never messed with profiles to increase sales. Larry
This is incredibly helpful! I'm struggling to get my first sales on Etsy so I'm trying the $5/day now to see if that helps. I tried buying a few things from myself with another account so it doesn't look like I have 0 sales, haha. Any other tips for getting initial sales as a new shop would be awesome! Love the content, keep it coming!
Do you think that showing a limited quantity (say 5, rather than 40, remaining) along w/ the 'sale' would get more ppl to hit the buy button? Also, I think your channel is to the point where taking print time away from 1 printer to make a video would net you more $ than what you would get from selling the items printed. Lots of views on the halloween AI video.
Yeah I do think that’s helpful too. I should’ve mentioned it in the video but hopefully I’ll remember next time! And I do think my YT channel is in a place where I could take some print time from Etsy, but my sales on Etsy are on a pretty strict deadline and if I used up the printer space I wouldn’t ship out orders on time. I plan to order at least one more printer before the new year that’ll specifically be for RUclips.
More sales - If the marketing gurus for last 50-100yrs are believed - more skin will equal more money… Show the 3D parts while a girls wearing a tiny bikini or some hot dude is holding the part. Because apparently if the person buys that part they may get some woman in a bikini or chiseled bloke too. 🤣🤣 Lol sexualization of marketing is funny as!! RUclips it’s the click bait of the girl in bikini in a van or boat but no girl in vid but by then you part of the “Mille”. How that above to translates to Etsy who knows… good pricing, hook (lead) products to get people to you store. Bundles of low sale parts to move inventory. But if your doing print on demand that moot. So it comes down to pricing but don’t work for a loss. Then comes down to value for money. Or perceived value of money spent vs competitors.
If you have bad reviews rectify it. Try and show you’ve addressed the issue. Nothing like cancel brigade to kill off business as they are not happy with online resolutions. Be pleasant and agree to refund even if they are wrong. Saves getting public argument too. Less issues more ranking points. Shipping cheap and fast.

Thank you, Macy, I am looking to get my first sale, these tips help.
Great Video. I would love to see a video on how you develop 3D printable text like in many of your Etsy listings. Keep up the great work!
I would watch that video too!
I would love to see that also
I did most of these and the first order paid for the advertising increase for the week. Thank you so much!
Nice! That’s awesome! I’m glad the video was helpful, thank you so much for watching ☺️
I greatly appreciate you sharing your Etsy business. This really helped me get over my fear of putting money towards Etsy Ads.

I'd refrain from admitting that publicly if you don't want your store suspended
This great, I feel people are not sharing their ETSY tips cause they don't want more competition but its great you are sharing with us beginners!
Glad the video was helpful! Thank you so much for watching
Danke!
Wow thank you so much! And thank you for watching ☺️ I’m so glad you’re here

Hi, @@macymakes3d I found you from the RUclips video and I am about to place an order, so I think that the time you allocate on RUclips also helps.
Just be careful with the 24hour sale. Doing that non stop is illegal. But I do such sales on weekends.
Get your top 2-3 best sellers and market them to $100. You'll thank me later (as long as your printers can handle it).
🤔 Interesting suggestion! To 100 each?
Alright I’ll try this for my end of school rush and see how it goes!
How was it? @@macymakes3d
