Assalam o Alaikum viewers, in today's video we are going to take you on a tour of Wadi Soon Sakesar in Khushab district of Pakistan, Wadi Soon is a very beautiful valley which is located at a distance of about 50 km from Khushab. Soon valley has many beautiful lakes, springs, waterfalls, besides, there are beautiful and high mountains,It takes 4 hours from Lahore and 3 hours from Islamabad to reach Soon Sakesar Valley, Soon valley is no less than a paradise valley for tourists. A must visit to Soon Sakesar valley once in your life.
There are many things you can visit in one day in Soon Valley. Among the beautiful places in this valley are Khabeki Lake, Uchali Lake, Kanhati Bagh, Sultan Mehdi chashma, Daip Sharif chashma, Kharumi Waterfall, Chambal Temple, Nursing Phuwar, Amb. Sharif Mandir, and many other small places to visit.
Our place today is the waterfalls of Kanhati garden. There is a beautiful garden spread over many acres and besides there are three big water falls, so let's visit this area. Home to stunningly beautiful waterfalls and marvellous views, Kanhatti Garden Soon Valley is a major tourist spot in Soon Valley. Kanhatti Garden, located in Soon Valley of District Khushab, is accessible from Islamabad (M2 Balkasar Interchange), Lahore (M2 KallarKahar Interchange) Sargodha, Khushab and Mainwali. The distance from Islamabad is 290 km, from Lahore is 300-km and from Sargodha is 120 km. Kanhatti Garden was established by Major W Whet Burn, District Engineer, and District Board Shahpur on 18th August 1933. Kanhatti sub village of Khabeki has been derived from Kanhat, a special rock found at natural water spring. The area of orchard was transferred to the District Board on Nov 2, 1934. The plantation in the garden was started in December 1934 and completed in January-February 1935. The plant inventory includes Almond, Apricot, Pine apple, Nagpurisangtara, Valencia late and Washington Navel. The Garden was transferred to Horticulture Research Station Soon Valley under the administrative control of Director Horticulture Research Institute, AARI-Faisalabad (1984 to 1991).In the year 1999, it was again given under the control of District Council Khushab. However being maintained under the supervision of the Khusab Agriculture Department, the Kanhatti Rest House and Camping Site was taken over by the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) on 29th Nov, 2014.
