- In Europe, 119 million people live in or with the risk of poverty and social exclusion. The reality of deprived children, unemployed young adults, and indigent workers spreads all around the Union. What does Europe do for them? Visiting young unemployed people in Ireland, Italy and Portugal, this film investigates beyond the social and economic aspects and outlines how this situation impacts the politics.

@@alexcarter8807 Don't get me started on Karl Marx, look at what centralized power has done across the world. You get a central bank that is supposed to regulate the market and all they do in is print money to enrich themselves. The governments that have to deal with the devaluation of their currencies which is what causes the phenomenon that is described as inflation. In modern times the banks themselves create money in the form of credit and even they cannot tell if someone is still going to be employed in 6 months times.
Social programs add to the financial programs of those who those programs are supposed to help because of the added taxation. I am someone who social programs has failed, I have a disability because of nervous system damage and live in the United States and the social programs have declined to help me because of them running out of money. Instead of looking to organizations like the government to fix the problems the people need to take back the power for themselves.
Europe was, is and will always be very poor in everything.

US has far less homelessness than EU per capita, 22% of EU is under poverty while 11% of US is under poverty, EU has 1 million homeless people, while USA has only 580K homeless, 0.22% of EU is homeless, while only 0.17% of USA is homeless.

The problem with the EU is the southern economies like Spain, Portugal, Southern Italy and Greece can't make the financial and political changes neccessary to grow because all the decisions are made in Brussels.

1. Europe cannot afford this massive immigration of people pooring in.
2. We are massively over-populated and again - we cannot afford all these people.

The main focus of this world, and how we define "a good life" , is "work", or companies.
But how can we maintain this luxery of work, when the jobs have become quickies or worse. Humans depend on the companies to require jobs, yet capitalism requires the companies to make profit, otherwise they dont "function properly as a company".
How does this work? It does not.
And how come a human being has to earn his living? I understand the "work for money" concept, a human being needs something on his hands, but for those who can not find a job or get to a job or cant pay babysitters to go to a job....how is this fair? How is it fair that a minimum wage even in the Netherlands means you still dont have enough money to put meat on the table every day?
Because the main focus is companies and profit.
The whole world has to change or this will never go away.

The title explicitly says the documentary is about Europe, which answers your question. Not the best place to look for stories about Mexico and South America.
