What a great review - I'm a mountain biker and not a hiker, but you covered so many unique use-cases and small details that really helped. I appreciate your attention to detail and your great video!
Greetings from the UK. I've watched quite a few reviews of these as I'm thinking of buying a pair. This is by far the best one so detailed and great footage! So clear and concise.
Great review Manav. The fabric really makes all the difference in this one. The pocket falling short for a 6.5"+ smartphone is really something I hope they fix in the new versions
Very gud maanav...this is one of the most informative, crisp ,well delivered and true opinion video on a trek pant. Very well described with precise points of address and attention... A very delightful offbeat topic of interest. Keep it up maanav.
Great explanation Manav bhaiya 👍. And I have completed my class 12th.(as exams cancelled) Now I can't wait to see you, but the only problem is this pandemic. Till now I have explored only Woods of Chhattisgarh but wants to feel the mighty Himalayas ❤️

Big fan manav bhaiya. Hope we meet soon bhaiya! Thank you for this informative video! I am definitely going to check out the environmental labelling.. #IAmCreedazOfficialFanGirl🙋🏻♀️
I especially love the „suitable for mild conditions“ categorisation… below 4500 meters and above -10 degrees: for this area here, that means all year long, and in any place 😂 Thanks for the very informative video, greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
@Creedaz I'm sorry I phrased it in such a misleading way ... what I meant was, we have these "mild conditions" everywhere here, all year round, because there are no mountains with 4500 meters here, and the winters where the thermometer drops below -10° C have become rare, "thanks" to global warming. And that was meant a bit ironically, because many people here would already consider -10° as "damn cold", not "mild".
Nice review 👍 I got the same pants in Delhi for 799 during a clearance sale! Also please review some cheap hiking shoes (other than Forclaz Trek 500/100)
I have recently starting hiking and trekking like since last year I have done many small hikes being it triund, kheerganga, and various small hikes. Also trekks such as Kedarkantha and now I am planning to take a good backpack (Rucksack). So I am confused between decathlon backpack and tripole 80 l rucksack. Can you please do a good comparison between those two rucksacks?
Hi Manav. I'm in Vashisht and would love to trek to Bhrigu with you if you're thinking of going there again soon. Discovered your channel earlier tonight and have been watching your videos since.
Thank you Anand bro. I am glad you liked the videos. I live in the Mathiana village. Would definitely try and hike together. I will let you know whenever I plan to go back to Bhrigu lake. 🙂

Nice explained bro, but u didn't told about the size and fitting , say if i choose 34 inches as waist size, what is the overall length of the trouser in inches. As I am 6-ft by hight
@manav. That was a nice crisp review for a very practical product. I had got the same for my last trek in Himachal during winter (one of those final days when world was still normal). It was a great pair of trek pants. But for one thing. The dark blue area on the back started to develop bobbling/ pilling. Never did any sliding with the pants, so no idea what caused it. Took it back to the decathlon store upon return and they were good enough to take it back and gave me a refund. I think that must just be a one off incident.
I did a lot of sliding wearing this trek pant in the snow. But glad you shared the pilling issue. Will keep it in mind. It may help in reviewing other trekking pants in future. 🙂 Thank you
Very nicely explained. Even such detailed product vedio or explanation is not available at Decathlon website. Please suggest for a breathable trek pant for North-east jungles. Thanks in advance. Love from Kolkata.

Dear, can we wear Forclaz trekking shorts in Goa in October? I am not going for a hike or trek but a normal trip to Goa. I am considering these shorts for functional pockets, water repellent properties and stretchable material mostly !
Hi Manav, Correct me if I'm wrong but seems like you exclusively wear shorts now. Do you still recommend trek pants or you suggest dryfit running short/track pants for intermediate trekkers?

There are many other good options, but this is my favorite.
Great detailed review. Can you plz suggest which one to look for for monsoon trekking and waterfalls visit in western ghats? Every pant looks quick dryable on decathlon!
Pick something that is convertible because you can remove the bottom part while hiking in Western ghats.

For Trekking and Casual purpose. Which one you suggest?
