    When I extend the new shock absorbers its quite tough. However when I push it closed its really easy. Is this correct? My old shock absorber is really tough to push back together.

    If you think the P38 is bad, try the ZJ Grand Cherokee. I fought them and fought them. My P38 isn't bad. New tires cured any oscillation, for now.

    What is the torque specs for the damper?

    @rimmerbrostv My 97 P38 looks like it has two steering dampers, would that be correct? or is that a different part behind it, however they do look exactly the same.

    You've fitted the damper the wrong way round, is it a reason for this?
