Yeah his discography is massive, I'd pay attention to comments and just react to those albums with most likes, with this many projects it would be shame if you'd choose mid projects and left those top tier albums
The output of Bones beats $B like 3 to 1 at least, and he actually pre-dates them by quite a few years. He's younger than both of them. He got music as far back as like 2010, I think.
It’s hard to put Bones in one sub genre of rap when he has over 50 full length projects showing multiple genres like metal, 80’s glam, country, 90’s west coast rap, etc.
Yesss been needing you to get some Bones, Thank you for these reactions, I really like your perspective on music and how you break it down. Whenever you have time to react to some other groups I think you’d enjoy reacting to Devilish Trio - Talk Is Cheap Devilish Trio - Troubled Future Devilish Trio - Lead By Devilish
I feel you bones has so much music and is so versatile so for a series I wouldn't blame you if you didn't go all in on it at least at first lmao maybe after getting thru it you might want more also his feature from canal st is the chorus from bones song dirt and the beat but rocky liked it and wanted to use it but instead of like sampling it he just straight up put bones on the song like they preformed it together and shit
Yoooo love seeing you do a bones reaction itll help with the sb burnout, another artist id recommend is Bleed the wicked menace, I randomly found him on Spotify and couldn't believe he was so underrated. His songs are short so doing an album would be better cus they're under 15 minutes (or do his most popular songs to see if you fuck with him first)
nah bro HDMI is hard but bones is definitely underrated he was my first introduction to the underground/soundcloud era honestly you never know what he’s going to do on the tapes he drops the diversity bones has is kinda limitless i would recommend MossOnBrick Iamcertainlynotworthyourtime Bedfordfalls Branches Whateveryoudodontlookhimintheeyes Suppressor SkeletonRaps Gohardhuh Bytheskinofmyteeth FatherTime Seemeafterclass Thehealingfields Hellofriendthatstuffwillkillya Ps he might have more or the same amount of tapes as $B
I deadass just asked my homeboy a few days ago if he knew Bones and he said no. Then I asked if he listened to Canal St. and he knew him from this song lmaooo
I didn't expect to see a reaction to him that soon, that's cool. Listening to his whole discography on this channel would be a fucking life-long mission indeed... I've been listening to Bones almost everyday since 2014 and I still sometimes come across smth new, lol, so your plan is sensible. As for the albums, go for any, he's consistent with quality and vibes yet almost always experiments with genres (and does it perfectly, imo). Btw, he also has various side projects like surrenderdorothy and ricky a go go, you might want to check them out.
ASAP Rocky wanted bones to do a remix like new verse but was busy was the time so he just used the beat and used to chorus. This original track is by Bones only named Dirt with a music video. Rocky saw it and fucked with it
I'd recommend looking into Raider Klan because i think it'll help explain the history of this particular scene of SoundCloud. Bones wasn't in that collective, but it led to him linking up with Xavier Wulf, Eddy Baker, and Chris Travis. They all had their own individual "teams" with Bones being TeamSESH, Eddy is Healthy Boyz, Chris is Water Boyz, and Xavier Wulf is Hollow Squad. I just say that because they would refer to themselves as SeshHollowWaterBoyz and that'll sometimes confuse people. Like i said, i think looking into the history would help you appreciate some aspects. I wouldn't say that everything is worth a listen, but its definitely cool to see how all these rappers and producers came together to create this huge underground scene, how they were connected to groups like A$AP, and the influence they had on a lot of mainstream artists.
his best older albums imo are powder, useless, banshee and rotten. his newer albums are more experimental in the sense that they aren't really like his old music but they're still pretty good for his newer music id recommend .zip and basketcase
Ik Deebaby, but haven't listened to his music. I've worked with one of his producers in the past. I might look into it. Definitely tapped in w ot and x tho
@@shoreZ BONES started making music when he was 9 years old and then when he turned 16 in 2010 he started uploading his music as the name Th@ Kid. Then in 2012 started uploading music as BONES. He pretty much started the soundcloud emo/cloud rap. Without BONES who knows how many artists wouldn't be here today.
@@purplenoodle06 he did not start that sound whatsoever lmao. rocky, lil ugly mane, and raider klan were doing that years before bones even started making music in that style. you can make the argument that he was one of the forefronts of that scene, but he definitely didn't start it. also, $b didn't take bones style, they mixed rubys punk background and his love for old school rap with scrims dj background and his love for mainstream rap. that sound combined just fit in with the sound that was poppin in the underground. they didn't take any sound from anyone of that era besides heavy influence from three 6 and ugly mane. i know i sound like a bones hater but i love the dudes music, but im just saying that claiming he pretty much started that sound is a damn lie lmao
How did I miss this reaction?? I’m still way early in the reaction but bro his most popular songs don’t do it justice. I’ll give some recommendations but you gotta go by project. Check out corduroy, restinpeace, plantsinthevase, theartofcremation, okay, butthisisthelasttime, rocks, resurrection and skeletonraps. Shit It’s hard to narrow it down. He’s a legend of the SoundCloud era influencing many artists, carti used to post his lyrics, tay k, lil peep directly said he’s his only influence, X showed his love, bones being on suicideboys first ever release I mean it doesn’t end. Canal st is actually from his song dirt too, Rocky loved it and sampled it. I’d go off forever I’m a huge fanboy of this guy lmao he does not stop, this year alone he has dropped 5 projects some under different Alia’s, you should check out his upcoming album on Halloween called cadaver, he said he’s only doing dark hard songs on it
If you check out any projects by BONES, please check out BasketCase for the bangers, TheWitchandTheWizard for the vibes. Sum of the best projects of all time
Just wait until you get to pop star bones. He does EVERYTHING himself. That’s why except for a track asap rocky sampled (dirt) which is 3:32 canal st. He hasn’t blown up or really gain recognition outside the $b community bc they like him
Hdmi is fave from bones and only song i listen from him 😂 Btw u should also check out flatbush zombies, but their EPs from like 2011 and the few singels from around 2015 like did u ever think ft joey badass or RedEye to paris ft skepta Or bring em out
