Great video.. I’m cleaning and reusing bricks on my wall… picked up about 200 yesterday.. mostly just dirty, a few with mortar
That looks pretty easy to do - a bit time consuming, but the result worth it! Noted for my future projects :-)
Excellent, hope it goes well. Thanks for watching!
I would like to reuse bricks in this manner but there are so many different sizes of reclaimed brick it's a minefield. I'm West Midlands based so guessing any I find may be Staffordshire of Birmingham origin.
Thanks for your comment, we find this is where experience is really required. This can be difficult
when making a lime mix. do you just use the regular sharp sand/building sand. or do you use a “washed” sand which everyone keeps telling me i have to use but cant find it anywhere. does it really matter?😂
To be fair I use a mixture of sharp and soft sand , with the lime but that’s only my throw on it, it just comes down to personal preference, cheers 👍
@@BuildingwithBudd does it matter whether a sand is washed or can i just use the £3 sharp sand from wickes/travis perkins
I don’t see why not
@@BuildingwithBudd thankss i asked another youtuber too and he said the same!
Your not cheating on me are you ? 😂👍
Does soaking them help?
